Makkani Restaurant

Restaurant food is good and okey. Meals are nice and worth for 50 rs. The only thing is that, they will never attend us. We had to wait endlessly to get out food. So arrogant people. The plate was not clean and asked them to change the same, but they weren't in a mood to do that also. Serving people were roaming around for no reason. Without getting food.

They charge too much for a small piece ayakoora fry they charges 80 rs which is totally unfair the quantity of the ayakoora fish fry was below average than that of other restaurants and they are charging 80 rs where even some hotels of same level charges lower than that.
Kadarkka mess of Kozhikode provides better quality and quantity ayakora fish fry with biriyani on Fridays with biriyani rice they charges only rs 60 for full fish biriyani.
This shows how costly these stupid hotels charge from common men.

Waste fish fry i had
They are misusing the name Makkani. May they don't know the real meaning for that.

One of the best authentic restaurants around serving best of Calicut and Arabic cuisines.
Friendly staff and cosy ambience.
Thoroughly enjoyed the biriyani and fish curry last night.

Keep it up guys, would be visiting again!

"one of the tasteless Biryanis I ever eaten"

I ordered food by swiggy so, i don't how is there service.but the taste of the food is very poor and it is one of the Biryanis I ever eaten.

The fish scales I found in the fish biriyani were a big turn off. Leaving that (revolting) matter out, for the price, it's probably worth it. Loved the fish fry!

Nice restaurant and good food at reasonable price. Homely like feeling. Away from traffic of town. It is a very good choice for meals and biriyani. Fish, chicken, beef biriyanies are at good quality and taste. Good serving and it's a good choice for nice food.
