Mani's Cafe

Traveling from Madurai to Trivandrum by train, we reached Palghat at 21: 30. At that late night, We called them for food delivery to the train. Promptly and without hesitation, they took our order and delivered it directly to our compartment. The food surpassed our expectations, and the fact that we enjoyed such quality on a running train was truly remarkable. A heartfelt thank you for the exceptional service.

It is kept in good condition.
It will be useful for those who come to Palakkad Railway and search for food.
I came across this hotel through map.
When I reached there, it was after lunch time and I was preparing for the evening shift.
A complete clean is done every shift.

Those who want to sit and eat in a clean atmosphere can go there.

Food is very tasty and they give good quantity.sometimes if we preorder we don't get it since there is fast movement here but very good value for money

Fantastic restaurant. Kesari was well prepared - It's an example of fine, nuanced culinary skill.
And the staff is very courteous, as always in TN and Kerala.
A wonderful outlet and a must-try for all Palakkad visitors. It's near the Palakkad junction.

My dad used to bring us to Mani's Cafe near olavakkod station when we arrived by an early morning train. That was half a century back. The restaurant is one of the surviving old eateries of Palakkad with an authentic local flavour. Go there for sevai in the morning or Ela shappad in the afternoon. You can also get laddu, neiyappam, elayada, palada prathaman.

Excellent food and service. We were on the train and ordered over call. They brought the food exactly our compartment when the train stopped at Palakkad. The food was fresh, hot and very well packed.
Not to forget, the coffee was really delicious

Time was roughly around 8 PM but most of the dishes were not available. Though the taste was fair but found an insects in snacks and most of the dishes. Poor service too.

I asked a paneer butter masala.and they give few paneer pieces with few drops of masala. Oh god. Suffered a lot.

Mani's cafe.this place doesn't started 2 or 3 years back. It started even before I was born. It have it's own tradition even in the food we eat. Especially Ela ada and masala roast is my favourite there. Affordable price and osum taste is the plus point.
It's near to the Olavakkode Railway station.

Nice food. One can try traditional Kerala food here. Puttu, Aappam, Kadalai curry, Idiyappam, Elai Adai, Dosa varieties, Idly Vada. Very near to Palakkad railway station. Old building with no interiors. Go for food and not for place.

Compared to other cafe their service is lightly bad and their items are also bad. And they didn't have good cleaning facilities. So that u take care yourslef and go there. Thats all

Good vegetarian food. The restaurant is not visually so good due to the very old infrastructure.but the food is awesome it's all that matters to me.will visit again.

Average hotel in Palakkad. Famous for best coffee, tea and masala dosa. Some staffs are very customer friendly and some are opposite in nature. Located at a corner palakkad railway junction, so normally not viewable from normal traffic.
