The ambience and warmth welcome of the staff were so nice that we didn’t struggle with food and beverages. Since it wasn’t crowded at the time made the place calm and enjoyable experience for us
I went with my husband and sun and it was just perfect the meals are very generous and most importantly DELICIOUS we loved it. Thank you for the staff!
Excellent Service by Sinu and Lekshmi. Lunch was fully booked but they quickly arranged a table for us. We ordered Thali meals with Neymeen fry. Very satisfying. We tried the Pazham pori and beef roast combo for the first time, and it was a great choice. A definate recommend restaurant.
Ordered biriyani and its like sweetness and the neymeen fish curry was waste of money. There is no spices in the fish it was just the fish itself just cooked
I had a worst experience from this restaurant. I ordered a Chicken curry and a Vegetable kurma. Both these curries tasted horrible. Chicken curry was too too spicy with almost no salt. And the Veg kurma tasted filthy bad. We could not eat even a bit of it, we had to throw it to the bin fully. It tasted as if the vegetables used in the kurma like beans and potatoes were stale. Please try to rectify this and try to make the dishes eatable.
I went in for dinner. I tried their hot & sour chicken soup, beef mappas curry with appam and dragon chicken for starters. Food is great! This place calls for office lunches and family dinners. Ample space for whole groups and neatly done too.
Food was average. We ordered ghee rice and mutton curry. The ghee rice taste little like biriyani rice some sought of flavour was added. And mutton curry was good.
Chicken 65 was over fried to mask the taste of old chicken. The Duck pepper was pricey and only consisted of neck pieces. Kung Pao chicken was lacked any taste or flavour other than pungent ketchup flavour. Rest was of the food items tasted way below average and not up to th Mark considering the price.
Being here now with my friends and this place seemed to be a really happening place. There was such amazing music being placed which just created a good vibe and then ordered really good food from here. They have taste finding flavours. It was lipsmacking. The beverage boy has some good skills on desserts and shakes and its matching decoration. We just loved the variety of the desserts and they way they explain how really are both the main course and their beverags. We will Will surely visit here again thanks for the amazing dining experiences and also all protocols were followed perfect for maintenance hygiene and social distancing. Wish you the new comers a great night️
Great Service, the beef drumstick curry with appam was too good. Tasted the rare beef dumpling stew - a complete meal and a must try. Loved the ambiance. We are definitely coming back.
Great Ambience. Looks like a small place from outside but the seating is well organized. The service was good. Coming to the food, we ordered pasta and it was delicious with sufficient quantity. The lamb was juicy and fresh while the chicken had some best flavours. For desserts, we tried their caramel and it was extremely yummy. Overall, this is a great place for a wholesome meal! I really miss their breakfast.
Stunning ambiance, great food and helpful staff. Visiting for the 4th time with my family and Mappas has always surprised us each time with new dishes to taste. Very hygienic too.
Restaurant is good Neat and clean Service good, Food taste good Chef Akhil is a good chef and service Associates all are good (Jeck was smart and good) Car parking available, Pricing very reasonable and quality is good
I have never tried your food. A * extra for pointing out the Thattukada outside has nothing to do with the restaurant inside.
Ask the thattukada have a separate sign board so that unsuspecting customers are not fooled to think it's part of the restaurant. There's a handwritten sign at the gate though.
Went for Sunday lunch with family. The Biriyani and the service staff was great. The fish in the fish biriyani was very fresh and a pretty big sized king fish slice. The chicken mappas was below average and was made using canned coconut milk - I'd expect that the restaurant named 'mappas' would serve it using fresh coconut milk. They still get my 5 star for their service and cleanliness.
Good ambiance we thought to try the place for dinner. Duck mappas was good. But asked starter potato chips. They served to someone else and forgot us that we ordered. But later gave after dinner. Asked for extra chapathi which the waiter forgot completely. The senior waiter was full time on mobile chatting and not at all bothers to look at anyone. After we showed our dissatisfaction, they are not bothered to be sorry about it too. Pathetic dinner! Wondered if any supervisor over looks at the guest.
A few days back i have been to Mappas and had a Chicken Biriyani. Well it was just an average biriyani. The chicken pieces were so big and the rice quantity was very low. All in all i didn't enjoy eating the Biriyani. Even the biriyani masala didn't have much flavor and they didn't give eggs along with the Chicken Biriyani. The Restaurant is clean and tidy. But they need to improve on their food a lot.
Was really happy with the overall experience. The restaurant has enough parking for around 5 cars but the food that they serve is really really good. Do try them. It doesn't have much options in the menu but you will find most of the items to be tasty (highly subjective).
Ordered veg fried rice, dragon chicken, chilli mushroom and Mappas special chicken fry as take away. Everything was delicious but Mappas special chicken fry was out of the world. Plan to visit the restaurant soon for the real taste.
