Mapranam Toddy Shop

One of the most famous toddy shop in Thrissur, Mapranam Toddy shop is very well known for its wide variety of delicious dishes. If you are a kerala native dish lover, you should definitely try the dishes of this place. I liked the kakkayirachi, porkirachi, and kadamutta dishes from this place. Apart from that, they have fish fry, fish eggs, fish curry, chicken curry, Kappa, duck, beef with coconut slices, kaada fry etc.
I would strongly recommend dining here instead of taking parcel. If the heat is gone the food doesn't taste well as it supposed to be. If you heat it again, it could change the taste a little bit too.

Parking area is limited.

I didn't felt the toddy has any speciality here. If you are taking a parcel, they will give it in a plastic bottle. Make sure you remove the pressure at certain intervals, or the bottle might explode.
If you buy the toddy to drink it by dining here, you will get it in a glass bottle.

Owner threatened to "stuff the spoon in my mouth" because i told him to change the parcel order from 1 Kappa plate to 2 Kappa plate.

The place was so crowded that the workers were frustrated and abusing customers. They are in no way ready to handle crowds. Just a bunch of guys running around.

The food quantities are pityful! One plate parcel is one scoop that fits a small banana leaf piece. I felt scammed after seeing the quantity i was getting for a ₹1,000 order.

Can't lie, the toddy was good. But there are so many toddy places out there. Why get scammed and shouted upon by frustrated sweaty old men when you just want to have a good time.

Shop and food is good.but the workers are bad.sometimes they behave rudely to customers and it is not fare

Finally got a chance to visit this place. We have been listening about it since long and luckily on our way back to Kodungallur we visited this place. It's a family toddy shop with more of open seating space and 3-4 cabins for family with seating capacity of 8 per cabin (not very comfortably).

The prices and quantity have a mismatch. However if you want to have a traditional toddy shop visit this place can be visited once.

Food was amazing. I'm a foodie.concentrates on food irrespective of ambience.if you are looking for better ambience pls keep yourself off from this place.

I don't like the toddy which they gave us. I felt it's had white mix.

The behaviour of the staff here has been pathetic. The way they talked to the customer when asked about the items served was never experienced here. This wasn’t the experience earlier here. May be as more people come, the arrogance of the owners increase. Never going to visit this place

Visited the shop very much expectations but the food quality is just ok. Not that much as Verity is there too. One time tastable. Food serving is takes too much time. All dishes are more to be spicy. Verities are not that much just 3 items tasted but not satisfied anyone of us.

Very good selection of food available.
Toddy is also available at plentiful quantitaties incase you're thing with a large party.

One of the family friendly toddy shop in Kerala, and one of their food item, which gives consistent taste is beef fry. And toddy they provide is good for ladies too.

Must visit place at Irinjalikuda for amazing food.visit for lunch time from 11 am to 3 pm. Varieties of Non veg thar is hard to find in normal restaurants.
