Edit: They have asked to stay more days in ICU for observation. I expect the bill the bill to be higher than the initial amount.

Front office coordinaters are very pleasing and enthusiastic. Hospital mobile cafeteria is very appreciable and useful to patients. Feel good ampience compared to other hospitals. Hospital is keeping very good

From my personal experience at visiting the ORTHOPAEDIC department I can say firstly thanks to the Radiology department reception staff for helping me out unconditioned and Dr. Sijo Sir for diagnosing my condition and providing apt advise.he is a wonderful Dr.with prescise knowledge of the relevant condition practically and doesn’t waste time for unecessary investigations unless proven otherwise. I would say he is an asset to the institution and the specially the Radiology reception and nursing staff require special appreciation and respect for cordially treating the ill. I am satisfied and I wish the hospital best success and in recruiting highly professional doctors and front office people so that a person is mentally and physically satisfied.

Well maintained and clean hospital. They provide quality care and service to their patients. Staffs are good and friendly.

Worst token management system in fact there is no system at all. My appointment was at 3: 30 pm with neurologist but now after one and half hour still I am waiting, the nurse call patients from a list they maintain manually but doesn’t seems it’s transparent.
Please visit this hospital if you have luxury of time.

Poorly managed appointment system. They will give you a slot number but will have to wait an entire day to consult the doctor. What is the need of the appointment and slot, if they cannot follow it properly. Not giving any value to the time of the patients.

Admitted cause of fever and headache.we ordered food.again and again they will ask and take the food order, But finally we didn’t get the food or anything.more time we callback to food court, Sir or mam we ordered food but we didn’t get it.what we can do.can I come direct to collect? 2 times we collect directly. So Sir please inform to FB department, make the order and punctuality to supply food.thank you.

I wanted to extend my deep appreciation for care my father in Mar sleeva medicity palai. Dr. Krishnan (CTVS) was a wonderful surgeon and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured my father had a smooth prep, CABG surgery and follow - up. Iam so glad i choose this hospital.

I have been to this hospital many times, then the behavior of the hospital staff was very good, but now the staff here are very bad. The doctor who had been seeing the children on a regular basis was out of work, so he was referred to another doctor, but this was an unacceptable behavior on his part. The baby's fever is high and he doesn't even have time to conduct a thorough examination. One person like this is enough to destroy the value of an institution. The pharmacy also does not have enough staff, so there is a big stay there too. I felt so sad about everything.

Charges of consultation is Rs. 50 only but all other charges are heavy.in my experience i opend for ENT then adviced for audiometry, they changed audiometry Rs. 780 (not in any hospitals in Kottayam) +consultation of audiologist Rs. 50 again (tricky one, not seen anywhere in kerala additional charges like this for audiologist consultation). Then gone for Eye consultation, here comes another charge for fundus examination Rs. 150 (no other hospitals charging for fundus examination it's a free examination). And you have to bring tissue with you because none of the public toilet has tissue /air dryer. I hope it is not so long next they will charge for blood pressure taking (rs. 100), stethoscope auscultation (listening sounds from chest by Stethoscope) by doctor Rs. 200, toliet usage (Rs. 150). Will never visit again.
Humble advice: its better to charge normal rate for consultation cut of unnecessary hidden charges, #stop gimmick of Rs. 50 consultation ad#

I am very sad to report the poor room service from canteen yesterday. Even after 3 reminders from the duty nurse at covid treatment centre at fourth floor from 2.30 pm onwards no room service was rendered. As the covid patient and bystander have restricted movement we were at the mercy of canteen staff. The patient was forced to remain hungry.

Very poor personal care.infrastructure facilities are good. But they don't care for the patients. When we ask someone, they'll redirect us to someone else, and it goes like a never ending loop. When we call for some urgent enquiry, the telephone is never attended and tells that the lines are busy all the time. After one hour, they'll return the call after everything is over.

Good morning my daughter Evelyn Pramod got admitted in the PICU on 15thDecember. The care given by the Doctor's and the staffs are really good. They are very friendly and treated with love and compassion that helped her to recover soon. Today she is getting discharged. I thank Dr. Arun Thomas the Intensivist the team of doctors & all the Nursing staffs for there dedicated services and care. Thank you all from the bottom of our heart

I have done an urgent ultra sound scan on early morning 2 am 6/11/2021. The results given was extremely wrong with left and right side interchanged

Very comfortable and nice atmosphere when enters hospital doorstep. It gives positive vibes to the patients. The coordination was excellent, which helps bystander to be with the dear ones rather than rushing.

I had gone to this Mar Sleeva Medicity Hospital before 1 week in first time with my mother for Antiogram purpose. We were treated at Ernakulam Hospital. We are really happy to be in the care of Nurses. The Nursing care was Excellent & unbearable. Approchment of Doctors also very well. In some Hospitals, the staffs shows no respect for the elderly Patients but my Mother was very happy to receive honour. The staff treats the bystanders very politely. The Bill settlement took place quickly and we were discharged fastenly. Thanks a lot for your awesome service and I highly recommend this Hospital for my friends & relatives

My wife was recently admitted for a
corrective hip surgery. Dr O. T. Thomas was the surgeon. He has a divine touch.
We are retirees from the US. My wife fell sick with neurological issues and we have been visiting several Hospitals in New York and New Jersey. Also Lakeshore Hospital. We were amazed at the quality of care at Mar Sleeva. Also Inexpensive. We must compliment about the grand entrance Hall and the Reception Area. Reminds me of a five star hotel. Wide corridors, clean floors and my favorite- clean bathrooms. Very well designed and built. It is a new hospital. I am sure many issues are to be ironed out. Phones calls to the hospital should be answered immediately. Calls could be coming from anywhere around the world to get an update of a dear one. Also a friendly smile from the staff will go a long way. Medicine only a small part. We wish the staff and His Excellency, Bishop of Pala Diocese, for his vision and commitment to make this a reality. May God bless

Not satisfied with the sevice.the time is very important for each and every one.most of the people have choosen this kind of hospital only because of their bc schedule.but the appointment system in this hospital is not in a proper channel.it's taking toouch time for consultation and for scanning process also. Had been to Mar sleeva today, ie 27/11/21, for a health check up. The experience was awesome. From the security to the topmost doctors all were well behaved and sincere in performing their duties. All the staff from the reception, the staff who accompanied us to various departments and the staff who conducted the tests were very courteous, efficient and cooperative. I had travelled nearly 80 kms to go to this neatly maintained spacious centrally air conditioned hospital. May the Lord bless each and every person associated with this hospital including the staff. May the Lord bless this hospital to become one of the best hospitals in South India.

The service was not satisfied as they are not take caring the patient well. Moreover the hospital is very expensive in that sense also. The staff havent a caring approach

Very good experience. All advanced modern facilities available. Doctors are 24 hrs available, very friendly staff. Saved my life

My husband, M. O. Kuriakose with the recommendation of a medical supdt, Mandiram hospital went to Mar Sleeve hospital and had the worst experience there. He went there for a CT scan contrast of pelvis and abdomen which is as per protocol for his routine follow up at Amrita hospital. He never experienced any problem for CT scan in the past. He is a colon cancer survivor. Though we reached there at 8am there was nobody at the counter in that floor till 9am. He was taken in and was unattended for an hour. Then he asked them for a test dose. They instead gave some liquid to drink. Then they put canila. Howevet they forgot about test dose. So he felt the liquid tasted different from what he got at Amrita he complained to the nurse. She said drink it slowly. He felt the drink similar to that for colonoscopy He started feeling uneasy. He had severe diarrhoea after taking that. As he couldn't contact me he felt miserable. By 1 pm he managed to talk to the nurse
He wanted to go back home. She said she would call him soon. At 130 he went in. There too they made him drink two glasses of the same drink. Then they injected the full dose of dye without giving any test dose. He couldn't breathe and he told the staff to call me. He said he was dying. He prayed the last prayer before death but forgot to say the prayer Jesus said Lord forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. No doctor on emergency came for his rescue. Two days later he was admitted in Caritas Cardiac ICUfor sick sinus syndrome which was an after effect of the wrong procedure of CT Scan.
They claim they are the best hospital. When he wrote a letter to the management with the hope that they will investigate the issue and see that such lapses won't happen we expected a reply but so far the hospital turned a deaf ear to it. Boasting about the hospital at the cost of patients like him is unchristian. If the bishop Mar Kallarangatyu has ears respond. I am ready to meet you.

Plus point
1. The hospital has some of the best doctors and infrastructure. But

Minus points
1. Getting appointment in OPD is really painful. All doctors appointment will be full for 10 to 15 days.

2. Thought of going as a walk in, receptionist told that I have to come early by 9 am to take token. I went there taken token but my time for consultation came around 5pm. One complete day wasted for consultation.

3. Doctors referred to some other specialty, guess again I have to go through the same. Go early at 9 am take token and wait till 5pm. I have observed that all who has taken appointment is not turning up, but staff there will make sure that walk in patients will go in last only after all appointment patients.

4 Doctors referred to endocrinology, receptionist told that it's too late so come day after tomorrow as a walk-in. As doctor is working for half day next day so she won't take any walk in.

5. Thought anyway I have to wait till 5pm, so went to hospital by 2pm. Receptionist denied to take as walk in telling that I should have come in the morning itself.

6. Finally advised for Contrast CT, again all appointments are full so given two choices first option to come by afternoon 1 in overnight fasting (till 1pm in fasting I that a joke) or come after one week.

Overall Experience, Just best Doctors and Great infrastructure doesn't make it a good hospital. A perfect example of Mis management. Needs some process change.

Apart from this please relook in to your water management. Too much water getting wasted from the taps placed in canteen hand wash area and in all wash rooms. One time push and tap will dispense atleast 1 or 2 litres of water.

Well I will visit again only if I have ample time.

Finally, my wife's comments on my bitter experience there got a reply after almost 11 months from one of the directors, Fr. Jose Keeranchira. I appreciate his concern and do hope such traumatic experience wont happen again for any one. Buildings wont make an institution. It is the team work, commitment, compassion and coordination that helps it to grow. I cant change the grade now but I appreciate the spirit shown by Fr. Jose in contacting me now. Better late than never.

So bad experience.staff are inexperienced and the way they behave to their patients are too rough.

Recently visited Mar sleeva medicity for COVID vaccination. The staff at the department was courteous, helpful and very attentive. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for any health services.

Visited General surgery department with Dr. Sr. Celin. The entire process from the reception to the end was excellent. Dr. Sr. Celin was good and explained very well regarding our concerns. Miss Jyothi well coordinated the consultation, radiology investigations etc in a good manner. We felt very happy with this hospital environment.
