Food is fine and the service is okay. However the restaurant/shack has been constructed well. Overall, a good place to have breakfast if you are at the Papanasham beach.

Great ambience, fast service, amazing food. King Fish cooked in banana leaf was so good that 2 vegetarians converted to fishetarians!
Veg food was also good.

Highly recommended place.

The best shack on South Cliff of Vrakal beach. We have been here for lunch and had a nice dining experience. Being right on the beach, it provides good shade and seating options with best view one get - beach. Food is good and service guys are helpful.

Excellent food with an ocean view. We ate here three times during a two day stay in Varkala because the food was so good. Delicious Indian, Chinese, Thai & Tibetan food and plenty of fresh fish and seafood. Really delicious high quality food and drinks, reasonable prices, large portions, friendly staff, and excellent atmosphere. Located on the beachfront with all seating facing out to sea. Highly recommend.

It's decent restaurant with a great view and ambience! The lime juice we ordered was not as chilled as we expected it to be. The tea was average too.

A great choice for delicious food, friendly welcoming and very good service, directly on the beach of varkala with unblocked view to the beautiful ocean and sunsets of Varkala cliff and beach, opens for delicious breakfast until late night dinners and have the best and biggest pancake among all Varkala restaurants, the Momos are also the best, size wise and taste wise and variety wise. The place look weired from outside at the first glance but later when u try it you will get hooked. Prices are very much affordable and cheaper than other restaurants with the same category.

The ambience is just awesome, the seats are kept facing towards the beach. Perfect for a date night because the place is very quite and peaceful. I'm giving four star because food preparation takes little long. We had roti and some veg gravies which were not as expected, not spicy, no salt. The tandoori chicken we had bitter taste.
