Masala Restaurant

The experience was really good here. Went for dinner with my family. The food is yum and the service is pretty good.

It's our third day here and we absolutely love the buffet all three times a day, especially the desserts.

The staff personnel were also very friendly and always attending to your needs. Would definitely come back.

It’s not just the food that is great, the ambience, service, kids play zone, and overall experience which also include magic for kids, live music and caricatures adds up.

It’s been an year or two, but recently their spread and quality of food improved a lot. It was the spread for another 5 star restaurant which was highly rated by me in Kochi, but I would change the rating to Masala’s spread.

One thing I have noticed is not many (I guess only Hyatt) restaurants have Mutton items included in their spread, but Masala always have Mutton Biriyani for the brunch.

We went there for a reunion of friends. First thought of going for a la carte but found the buffet menu very tempting. Some of us had a couple of drinks and then had this buffet.

The buffet spread was very good. Couple of starters, soup etc. Then plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everything was great and had a good time.

Narmada was great and the service is A+.

Celebrated my daughters 16th birthday there. The food and service was awesome and a special mention of Mr. Boobalan who took care of our table of 8.
I did have a word with the manager on how some of the guests were eating near the buffet counters after taking their food, rather than back at their tables. I think the staff can guide them back to their tables as a courtesy to other guests especially from a hygiene perspective.

It's a good five star restaurant. You can choose your food. Soups, deserts, kerala food, steak, fruits, vegs.

We had arranged for our mother's 70th birthday celebration in the Separate dining area of Masala restaurant for our family. The food, service and attention to detail of all staff were exceptional. Want to give a shout out to Nidhin who have made our day with his outstanding service.

Great place in cochin to enjoy international and Indian cuisines. Clean set and prompt staff. Special mention - Sreeraj, sri hari, arun, avinash, charls, surafi, nidhin. Loved it.

Lavish spread at the buffet, great choice of fare with a live cooking station and attentive service. Reservations recommended but not mandatory, perhaps a must on weekends

I would Like to first of all thank The Holiday Inn Hotel for the Great stay experience of 5 days and most importantly the great and excellent services from their in house restaurant - The Masala Restaurant. Our Team- Ms. Nisha Mary and Ms. Jenny were their on their business trip during the period of 18 Aug- to- 23 Aug (checkout) at the Holiday inn and had a personal on hand experience of the Great service and Cuisine at the Masala restaurant. We were assisted by the Restaurant team and I have to specially mention the names- Mr. Shyam, Restaurant manager, The Chef- Mr. Anaswer, Hostess- Ms. Sneha and one more lady whose name we forgot. The Chef very keenly took out time to explain on the various dishes that him and his team prepared, ably assisted by the Manager, Mr. Shyam and Ms. Sneha. Such exemplary service and assistance added flavor to the wonderful and delicious food on the platter. Special kudos to the entire team and a must try place when you drop by Holiday Inn, Cochin for Stay or Visit.

It's a unique experience, good food polite staff reasonable pricing wat else for a high end hotel needed, keep going

Situated inside holiday inn, vennala. This restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Went for lunch buffet and was a bit disappointed to be honest. Ambience was good and the staff was helpful. The spread however was a bit less to my liking, varieties wise. Quality also was a mixed bag, with some dishes being good and others average. Main courses were average, but the salads and desserts were very good. Overall, for the price (999 rupees + tax), it was only OK, not great.

Way too expensive for the quantity and taste.
Ordered a bolognese spaghetti and it was bland. The beef Tenderloin was half decent and hence the 2 stars

It was very much embarassing when an employ prevented me from taking a dish, saying it's not permitted for banquet guests, even though we booked a buffet package for 50 on a 1+1 schem.

Very unfortunate, never expected from Holiday Inn, ever.

Had lunch on 5.1.22 and was very happy with the quality and taste of the spread. All Kerala food was soo tasty and really enjoyed. Special thanks to Ms. Sneha for making our experience great.

We have been here for Christmas brunch. Ambience and vibe of the restaurant was good. Decoration was good. Some Lavishness was missing. Taste of was the food was very average. Just for couple lunch/dinner you can go.

I mean for the amount we paid (higher than their usual rate, as we went for a buffet on a Sunday right next day of New year) the food was just not upto the standard of a star hotel. Ambience, service and all else is just great, but the food just didn't rise to the standard we expected, just for an instance, the chicken biriyani did not have salt at all. The pick of the lot was some thai based honey duck preparation. So yea I don't know if it was their usual pricing, the spread could have been called good.

Tasty food not gonna lie but there is every food that i want the pancakes was soo good and there were chocos and stuff and every type of food and after you eat u can have fruits and there was like bread and crossaint and stuff where u eat while having food lol the service was soo good even when its crowded they have good service and they have seats that they give for customers who enter ready staff was excellent its like a restaurant that has every food u really wanted to eat and i ate foods that i didnt even try ever because like i dont eat that much american and the other country food stuff
