We stayed at the resort for 3 days and we enjoyed the stay a lot here. The host, Mr. Kishore was the most friendly and helpful person you can find. He stays at the resort the entire time and is always making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The location of the property is perfect as the beach is very close by and the kids enjoyed the pool and beach at the same time. Pool is very well maintained and clean. The rooms and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The food is too good and on the whole we had an amazing experience as a family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Must visit place for everyone who is looking to unwind and relax.

We stayed for 2 nights. Extremely clean and spacious. Delicious seafood- especially the Karimeen cooked in a banana leaf- yummy. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, especially Mr. Kishore, who went out of his way to personally pick us up from the nearby restaurant, when we got really late. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful holiday, bang on the beach! Hope to be back soon.

We were a family group of 15 odd people and we stayed for a night occupying the whole property. The rooms were good, facilities include a pool and also a kitchen with staff who can cook anything of your choice. It's a calm place and very close to the beach. It is worth to mention that Mr. Kishore who runs the property is extremely helpful and humble. He is down to earth and willing to service the guests with all efforts, which is very much evident. Apart from the facilities, the uniqueness is support rendered by Mr. Kishore and we definitely recommend this place.

I recently stayed in a beautiful villa and had a fantastic experience. The villa was spacious and well-maintained, offering all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool and garden were a highlight, providing a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The location was also great, with easy access to local attractions. The only minor downside was that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay in a lovely villa.

We were a big group and had the whole place to us. Kishore ji was very helpful in charting out our itinerary during our stay and always ready to cater to our demands.

Very nice stay with walkable distance to the beach. Loved the home cooked food. We had the requested good for dinner with yummy fish fry, parotta, veg curry and chicken curry. Owner was very friendly and provided us with enough information about the surroundings. The place is lush green so be ready to deal with mosquitoes.

The house is pretty good with aesthetic architecture and good ambience. The hospitality is very good and here they will provide the Kerala food which is prepared at the time and it’s very delicious and must try when you visit here.

This place was a gem. It was affordable, beautiful and conveniently located at a walking distance from the beach. Mr. Kishore was an amazing and gracious host. Not only did he give us recommendations for places to visit in the town, but he also arranged our back water ride.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. Chechi who cooked the breakfast, did a fabulous job.

This is one beautiful proprety Marari. One can blindly choose this. Suitable for family, friends and couples as well. Well maintained with nice hospitality. They have a swimming pool. Food was vey excellent.

Location and arrangements of the property is good, with clean room, sit out and garden. Not far from the beach. Lot of greenery around, pleasing our eyes.
As it is relatively a small hotel in, restaurant menu is limited. The food is delicious. Staff are very helpful, in particular Mr. Kishore. Will come again.

Our room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was working fine, the bedding and towels were fresh and clean there is also a fresh jug of filtered water in your room every day. A delicious breakfast served every morning in the restaurant which is complementary.

Excellent beach house just 2 mins from a private part of the beach. The rooms are nice and spacious and the pool is a great addition for a late afternoon dip. Mr Kishore is a wealth of information and a wonderful host, always available with tips and a fantastic sense of humour.

A very calm and peaceful place walkable distance from the beach. The rooms are adequately spacious and toilets are clean and maintained well. I will start with the service. The service they provide is so good that keeps us going there again. The cleanliness they maintain is amazing. And last their food is so so tasty and serve it nicely. Thanks to Maya aunty and Kishore Uncle for their impeccable service and Sajan, amazing chef for filling our tummy with the yummiest food.

5 star ambience and personalised service. Mr Kishore went out of his way to keep our 2 families feel comfortable. We were a party of 4 females and 2 males. It felt very safe. The rooms were very clean and smelled good. And above all, extremely reasonable for the service we got. The food was prepared to our liking. The beach is just 100m distance and one can hear the roaring waves from room at night. And before I end, The food has set the benchmark at our house now.

Hosted by one of the nicest, Mr. Kishore, this cute well maintained property is a great spot for the perfect weekend with friends and family. Great service, neat rooms and 2 mins from the not so crowded part of the beach. Highly recommend.

Mayas Beach House at Marari beach is a really good property. It's well maintained, neat, clean. The ambience is pretty nice. It's a small but cute property, ideal for small groups. They have a swimming pool which is neatly maintained. The Marari beach is hardly 100 meter walk from this place. We booked this property with we did a BBQ too. The host is so friendly and his hospitality was way above the mark. The food is also great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful get away spot.

An extremely peaceful place to stay. I went for 'Mayas Beach House' to have a homely atmosphere and I am immense happy to say that little paradise was not less than a home. It is a peaceful place to cherish and stay. The Villa makes us feel relaxed and independent. And the main part of this is the host. I would definitely recommend all my friends.

This place hosts one of the most nicest beach stay in marari. The host was more than welcome to accomodate all our requests. We had a great time in the beach villa. Had brought our own equipment for grilling. The owner was fine with that. The place by itself is calming and has feel good vibe going on. Here are two pics of the food that we got to try. Chicken biriyani was exceptional and had a traditional touch to it. The chicken fry did have a nice flavour too. It's something that shouldn't be missed. Would recommend it to anyone who wish to chill in a private property, while visiting the beach.

To be honest, I felt I was in paradise.
To begin with kudos to Chef Sajan, who made it very welcoming, he insisted that whatever we wanted to eat be it continental or the local delicacies, you name it, you have it. It's was not like the resort had prepared a menu and u get to choose from it. The chef was even kind enought to give us a boat ride, but due to weather conditions we had to back out. Pro tip, try the chef special karimeen polichatu, I never had any fish that better.

In terms of cleanlines, it was not like they will clean before or after you vaccate, cleaning was happening on a regular basis since I was staying for two days whenever u wanted them to clean they will do it for you.

I find the resort very calm and peaceful, there were no outsiders being a private property and the beach is so close it hardly take 2 min by walk.

We had a really memorable time at Mayas beach house. Very well maintained and super neat villas. The pool is crystal clear and the homely food was really tasty and amazing. The beach is a just a few meters away from the villa. Mr Kishore is a dream of a host, such a pleasant and gentle host. He has you covered for anything you want. Highly recommended this villa for a relaxing and calm experience.

Situated Very Near to Mararikuam Beach, with neat rooms, good hospitality, yummy food (especially breakfast those who like traditional kerala breakfast/they informed that they do serve pancakes and all on demand) and a in-house pool within property which is their main attraction where even kids can enjoy. We stayed for last two days and had a very plesant stay

Kishore Sir who is the owner of the property ensured we got the best of the best facility and he was really helpful and friendly. As food is made fresh we don't have to worry about hygiene.

Also our kids wish to taste your pizzas & burgers. May be next time for sure.

We definitely wish to vist once again with all our family members in near future.

A Tranquil, classy, beautiful beach house, with the plunge pool and private courtyard. This boutique beach house is a perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway, or a weekend escape for the family.

The staff are extremely courteous, warm, and genuinely interested in making their guests feel at home, and they go out of their way to get the little details right.

It's an opportunity to live close to nature and it was very unique to have a lush green property which is very close to the beach. The staff was very courteous and all interactions were very pleasant. It was a very lovely experience with the best class service. A well-maintained property to take a leisurely stroll and to enjoy the clean beach; the food was also great.

Peaceful, private and oh so special. Mayas beach house conceptualised and realised by Mr. Kishore is just so beautiful. Set in a small fishing village with access to a bit of unused beach complete with white sand is truly charming. Their staff couldn't have been more accommodating with lovely pots of fresh coffee, great South Indian food and a lovely Continental breakfast. All in all the two days spent at Mayas, were memorable and serene and not an experience I'm likely to forget. Thank you Kishore and team

Kishore the property owner gets this 5 star. He is a very friendly person who runs around to fulfil the guest request. Great hospitality. Rooms were good and location was lovely. Ambience was awesome. Pool is really good and safe even to kids (not a deep one). Food was prepared as per our menu. Tried beef, chicken and veg. All were good. The beach is so near to the property just about 10-15 mins of walk. The property owner arranged us the boating in Alleppey, that was great time spent. Really had a good time with friends. Kishore thanks you once again for the memories you gave us.

We were during the COVID pandemic time, make sure you wear a mask in the beach because we where charged penalties by Kerala police.

We had an awesome time and lots of fun.
We made new friends and had some amazing experiences in a short amount of time. Kishore's (host) knowledge of the area and his excellent staff and drivers made our stay exciting and comfortable.

We stayed at the beach house for two days as a family. The place is lovely looking and the host is very committed to ensure that you are comfortable. The location is literally a 5 minute walk from the beach. The locality also is very safe. The rooms ate mostly clean. We were also treated to a fabulous Kerala style lunch as per our request on the second day. In terms of adding more value, it would be good if the host offered a 2-3 dish menu, nothing fancy but just a simple veg/vegan option and a non veg option for breakfast, lunch and dinner and during lean periods have more options. Similarly, setting exact slots for meals will also be useful. This will help set exact expectations with guests. We had access to almost no hot water on the first day, since it was raining heavily and the solar was not working, it would be smart to instal an instant geyser in every room as a back up. The host was kind enough to offer us hot water for the child with us, however the bucket that it was offered in was a paint container sort of plastic bucket and that was definitely off putting. Certain fixtures in the bathroom were broken, our room in particular had the hand shower precariously perched on the taps in the bathroom. A simple kettle in the room would also be good.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Maya's beach house, the food was good, rooms were clean, property was we'll maintained. The host, Mr. Kishore was very helpful and catered to all the services requested.

Its been a month since my stay in Maya's, but the experience has still not worn out. The place is located away from the noise and hustle of the city, in the sea side village of Marari. We went there as a family group, so the entire place, 5 beautifully done rooms and the swimming pool were entirely to us. The month of July is the monsoon season in Kerala making it a lean period there. Personally, i would suggest a visit to Mayas during the monsoon if you love the rains. The beach is just a couple minutes walk from property and easily accessible. The food was delicious, both veg and non veg dishes cooked the typical Kerala style. Overall we had an amazing stay with some great food, cozy rooms and a beautiful weather.
