Tried their maldivian meals with fish fry and mas huni with roshi. I liked both dish very much. Spicy and masala food lovers may not like it very much. But you should try these foods. Its very healthy food
Perfect place for Maldivian dishes in Trivandrum. Amazing experience! Meenamma is friendly, kind and always serve with a smiling face! She does amazing job of describing anything of the Maldivian dishes. We tried Rihaakuru, Huniroshy Rice tuna soup, tuna smoked Smoked tuna fried rice and everything was de-li-cious! Highly recommended for Maldivian food️
Homely environment. Neat kitchen. Friendly aunty managing the restaurant.
I had tuna fried rice, which was good. (Tastes similar to chicken / egg fried rice itself, but good to eat). Tuna fried rice: Rs 140 Chicken fried rice: Rs 140 Prices as per January 2023
Only biriyani and fried rice of a regular restaurant might be available, rest of the foods will be of Maldivian cuisine. Planning to taste them the next visit.
Very unique taste. Proper authentic taste of Maldivian Cuisine. Really enjoyed their hospitality. They were concerned about how the customer like the taste of Maldivian cuisines.
Unique and great experience. We ate a lot and still it didn't cost more than a biriyani per person. The couples who run the restaurant are great. It was my birthday and the uncle even sang a song for me (as it was Bakrid holiday and there was not much rush at that time, after 2 pm). Let me tell this, they just got a frequent customer.
PS: Don't go with expectations of Indian food, it is Maldivian in its authenticity.
Good for people who like to try out an entirely different fish based cuisine. Service is like at home and owner takes the pain to explain things and make your experience better.
