Good staffs and good atmosphere. Really enjoyed. The best location for couples and families

We stayed here with 26 people. Good rooms. The dormitory was very good. The very comfortable group stays. The best dormitory arrangements. Look like rooms. Hot water is available for bathing. Nice ambience. Food is average quality. All team happy with stay facilities. #stay #resort

Excellent service, when we stayed there the staffs were so friendly, spacious, frankly nothing to say everything was perfect. Nice clientele, the employees are adorable and respectful. The pool is beautiful and well supervised.

A fabulous place to be in. Went there early this week for a night stay. Had the most wonderful climate I ever have had at Idukki. The rooms are neat and tidy. With a kettle and emergency lamp.
(The plug sockets were a bit loose though, but never mind.)
The bathroom was clean, and had heater at good service. The toilet of our room was a bit clogged. But our friends who stayed at the other room never had such a problem. The Resort is just a few minutes from Kalvery Mount Hills, which we visited and was covered with fog! We couldn't see the view from the Hills because of the excessive fog.
The staffs are very friendly, Mr. Tommy who was present there all the day during our stay is a wonderful personality. He seemed to be so genuine and even guided us to visit Meghamalai Hills located a 100 kms away from the resort, near Theni ini Tamilnadu.
We had our best experience there.
The restuarant they have is not fully functional. However our breakfast which was complimentary was delicious. They arrange veg/non -veg dishes as per our concern.

Altogether the stay at Meghamalai Resorts was great! And we owe great many thanks to Mr. Tommy for making our trip reach the next level.

We had a very bad experience with this resort, we didn't get any service from a resort, there was no a soap for shower, and when we asked for tea in the morning, we got away with many things.

Excellent place. The service is really good and staffs are very friendly. And the scenery from the resort was awesome. A perfect getaway from busy life.

Nice place for friends reunion and all, nice and clean place with beautiful view. No food provided but you can get the food from some restaurants nearby.

Very bad behaviour in refunding the cancellation of booking due to Covid.

No repayment or clarity provided. Poor Customer Service and Interaction. Not at all a preferred location.

Fabulous resort with amazing hospitality, I visited this place for my vacation and it was really worth travelling from London to Idukki. Highly recommend.

It was a serene place amid tea garden. Not a very big property though. We were the only guest when we visited there.
The mornings are beautiful there.

Got it for 3000 per night. I think 2000 is good for the rooms. May be the extra 1000 for the ambience.

The manager was polite.

Pro tip: Your driver stay is free, so you save around 500 rs in that.

It was an amazing stay in Meghamala. Staff was very good, the breakfast was amazing, keep it up the good service.

Am giving only one star because of the customer service is very bad and as per the price of 3.5k we should get better service than this
Rooms looks good but there is a air passage or air ventilation its fully sealed and only provides with one pedestal fan. TV doesn't work
I have asked why is it like this and they give a leam answer WE ARE NOT LIKE A HOTEL SET UP OR RESORT MEGHAMALA IS A LODGE

Excellent place to stay in the locality. This place is very close to Calvary mount which is a tourist attraction.

Location is awesome and it is very near to the Calvary mount view point.
Rooms are good, and the service also felt good. It has ample parking space.
I went with my family and stayed for one night.

The only worry we had is like we can overhear the talking from other rooms. In the adjacent room, it was bachelor's and as they were enjoying their time, sound went bit high and we felt little discomfort. It's just a timely thing.

No Manager, No security, No supervision after 7pm. Facilities in rooms, just basic. WiFi in rooms, very poor. Food services are outsourced, but good. Otherwise, amazing location. Amazing views allround. The Management cn definetely convert the place into a 5 star resort.

The location is fantastic.the rooms are large though there are only 3 rooms.but you got to be prepared for visits from insects.the staff was totally inadequate.security was non existent.kitchen was not hygienically maintained.too much noise and too many people put up in dormitories made the stay a less than 3 star experience.this resort could easily evlove into a 4 star plus experience if the management want too.

Beautiful place.very good for family get-together.we stayed in dormitory.calvary mount is nearby.idukki dam is 7km away.they arranged a camp fire for us, which is awesome.food is of decent quality.customer service is good.

This property is one of many. Good rooms. They have a kettle. They do not have a restaurant. Options nearby are not very enticing. Also, if you need food, you need to give them advance notice and also decide on what you want. The food that is served anyway is pretty amazing. The breakfast is made in-house and is good. We tried appam and egg curry and even, idiyappam. Wifi is excellent! Staff is pretty cooperative. Couple of points - pls ensure there is staff available around the property at all times and please keep the kitchen neat.

Its a plantation resort. Comfortable atmosphere for a peaceful vacation. It is situated near a wonderful scenary of calvery mount attractive place

Beautiful location amidst cool misty mountains. Surrounded by Tea plantations. After a long evening walk at Calvary Mount, take rest at this resort and have a beautiful morning. Nature is the treat. Priced slightly premium but worth it.

There are very few accommodation options near Calvary Mount, Meghamala being a decent option. If available, do opt for the Farm house, as it resides uphill and gives a breathtaking view of Idukki reservoir. Eco cottage faces the town, with a view of valley - good view though. All other rooms are in the main building, which is in the town.

Atrocious behaviour from the staff, canceled a booking without intimation and then threatened us with retaliation of we don't leave.

Great resort. Great atmosphere. Rooms are little costly. Rs. 3000 per room. Also has dormitory Rs. 500 per person.

An absolute paradise for weekend travellers who need a relief from their tiring jobs. A place of pure serenity amidst the bustling city with the misty mountains, greenery, etc. The stay is cheap and the view from the cottage is mind-blowing.

Max time me n my frnds use to go there at evening. Bcoz the sunset time it looks awesome. As it feels like (personally I) forget the world n be there lost into the memories, seeing the endless sea n not to come out, sitting on the lawn.mostly we see students there n couples of course. Singing or chit-chatting or some playing guitar, clicking selfies. It feels awesome at that time really. I suggest at least once once u should go there n have the feel.

The Restaurant was great. Good quality food and good staff/waiters.

Pleasant stay and good morning view. But the way to the top is a little slippery. Your vehicle wheel might skid away. So be careful at those areas.

Damn. This is one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve been to. The calm atmosphere n cold breeze, rustling of leaves, birds chirping n above all “the spicy fish curry ” - (delicious mouth watering cuisines) n cozy hospitality.n that makes up all the 5 stars

An excellent resort with an amazing view and an extremely kind and hospitable management. The rooms were all comfortable and the food was great. Recommend everyone to come and stay here atleast once when in Idukki.

Sorry for the late Review! We had stayed at this resort couple of weeks back It was our first trip to Idukki and we had tough choose a place, however one my friend suggest this resort, i must share we were very much satisfied, the rooms, the people their care and hospitality. Appam and Egg from Break fast was really tasty and authentic, Rooms and the view, wow.my wife and kids really enjoyed! Mr- Rijo was really helpful from time we contacted him till we left the resort! Good Luck Guys! Keep up the good service!

Good resort. Atmosphere and surroundings are awesome. Should try it. Only drawback is that, they don't provide food.

Meghamala resorts also called as meghaland they have lot of properties in Calvary mount.one we stayed is in thakamani junction just 1 km from Calvary mount rooms where average food also good.resort full covered with CCTV s nice climate @ night rooms have wall mount fans only.
