Neat and clean rooms. All facilities available are good at it cost. Near the river periyar and an awesome atmosphere.

Don't be alarmed if you see such good ratings for this place. It's not their own people rating it. Stayed here for 3 days with my family. The rooms where descent and clean. But it's the level of personal service they provided to us which stands them apart. The manager and staff were so flexible to our requirements. We had an amazing time staying here! I would recommend it to anyone who plans to stay at Aluva.

Tip if you plan on staying here: call directly and book your rooms instead of using MakeMyTrip or other apps. Their complimentary services will justify their price.

I had an excellent experience with Meghdoot. You get a terrific combo of scenic location, very neatly maintained premium like property, extremely courteous staff and all for absolutely reasonable price.

We had booked the whole property for wedding, Mr. Shinazuddeen who manages the property made sure that everyone in the group were attended and comfortable. He was quite flexible for accommodating everyone's requests and he genuinely treats customers as guests.

Also as a pleasant surprise, they sent a small wedding gift to our address.

I would highly recommend this place for the value for money and genuine interest of Mr. Shinaz and team's to offer a good service to their guests.

Not a good parking space very difficult to park vehicle, domestic property converted to commercial tourist purpose

My first visit to Meghdoot River Resort was an awesome experience indeed. The stay, food and ambience were excellent. Ideal for a gateway and get courteous staff, neat and clean rooms, laudable service.we were there last week for a get together.we were totally happy.

Located in a quiet corner of Aluva, 15-20 mins form the airport. The serene surroundings, very reasonable cost, clean rooms, hospitable staff, (especially Mr. Shinaz who took such good care of us) and good breakfast.

We got friendly behaviour from the staffs. And the room and surroundings was neat and peaceful.

The manager's behaviour from the time we met him was pathetic. He refused us the room we asked for (301) because he himself was staying with his friend there, kept on bothering us regarding the sound of the TV even after we reduced the voice significantly. Hopefully the management takes some action or advise the manager regarding his customer service quality.
The rooms are good and the service is pretty good. The person in charge needs to learn customer interaction/ basic manners.

A cool place to hangout for family vacations or family events. Good rooms, located along the Periyar river banks, ample parking space and much more. Worth staying than a congested hotel room

Hassle free check-in and check-out. No concept of check-in time 11 or 12am unlike other hotels or resorts. Location is calm and peaceful surrounding. Walkable distance to temple. Rooms are clean. I checked in at midnight 1.30am without giving my I'd card and paying the amount which I provided them at my check out. Mr. Aslam was very helpful and friendly and provided me electric kettle to boil drinking water for me in the midnight. He obliged me with all the things I requested in the midnight also he made sure that my stay was comfortable. 5 stars rating I gave is for the hospitality of Mr. Aslam. I didn't feel like staying in resort. I was feeling like I'm staying in my home. No restrictions unlike other resorts. Will definetly visit again soon.

Wonderful staff. Very courteous, cooperative. Place is very clean. Very much easy on the pocket compared to similar places. Very well planned building. No negative points at all. Will go back to same place with family next time.

It's a great place to stay, the staff was extremely friendly, they were very flexible as well (appreciate this!) and the stay supervisor, Shinajudheen, deserves a special thanks for helping us out throughout. We had a great newyear here, which obviously also added up to the experience.

It was an awesome experience to host a family event and stay at Meghadoot. The staffs were very helpful and took care of each and every minute things to make the event so succesfull.

Very Nice place. Clean rooms and toilets. AC rooms have sit out rooms. Very nice view of Periyar river through dense trees. Area is calm and quiet. Can relax and go for morning walks on the bank of river. Want to come here again!
