Can't say it's very close to MMD, as it's almost a 20 minutes walk through the shadeless road on the island to the MMD.
Auto rickshaw junction is nearby. Yet different drivers charge different amount. Only a few will have UPI payment methods.

About MNC, cheapest place for all to stay and prepare for exams.
No need to worry about transportation as it's (ironically) near to MMD.
Acceptable facilities as compared to other Seafarer clubs in our country.
Various rooms available in which dormitory is not like putting 10 or more in a hall kind of a thing, it's like maximum 3 per room like that.
We can ask the reception to give the same room to us if travelling in a group.
This room is for just rs 196.

Bathroom, well its okay. Surprisingly for the number of people it can hold, this ain't enough. Yet there will be no rush for the restroom at all.
It's cleaned Every afternoon. Water in shower feels like hard water.
Max 4 or 3 for a floor, in which except one all the others will have toilet and shower combined.
Bedsheet (1) and pillow cover provided.
Study tables for each, cupboard for keeping stuff available.
Dormitories are not provided with key and locks. Plenty of CCTV surveillance is there. Only for individual rooms the is available.
Restaurant is within it's premises.
A bit expensive except for certain stuff like
Single piece chicken biriyani is 80 RS.
Vegetarian meals is rs 60.
Sometimes combos available for reduced price.
Else all are expensive.
Lime juice is Rs 45, in a small glass.
This place isn't owned by MNC, managed by some private entity.
Outside some local okaeish and 5 star level restaurants also available.
I've also stayed in a Rs 250 dormitory whose pics are being posted here. 3 per room highlight though is attached.
Overall it's good.

Its only for seafarers. Rooms at different rates. Highly recommended for seamans to stay in Kochi. Need to book 1 day before though online for getting rooms. Clean and net rooms.

The auditorium is good enough.
Parking might be a problem coz you have to park by the road side.

No such quality as it claims or boasts about. A restaurant ralatably clean, accessible by those, who gets to the Cochin Port Trust area for some reason. Food quality is not so good, less options available.

Been here once to attend a function and they got a good air-conditioned banquet hall which is maintained well. Parking is limited but we have enough roadside parking areas outside the club. Easily accessible location, next to the trident hotel in Bristow Rd, Willingdon Island, Kochi.

Good and affordable place for seafarers in Wellington island. Mess room is run by private party also have slight discounts for hostel students.

Attended a marriage reception. Have good spacious hall, food was served outside and had ample space there too. Car parking was done along the road, as the reception was at night, traffic was minimal.overall good experience. Will have to order food from outside for any party.

Best accommodation for mariners who are coming for their exams And holidays the staffs are good. Mariners can book their room online on their website.

The new management has ruined the restaurant. Service is pathetic and food is not tasty at all.

Used to be pretty good with service and food. Now it's really pathetic.
All the positive reviews posted here are from the older management, where food were decent and more over to it were affordable to students.

Below is the latest experience I faced here.

The person taking order was not at all interested in taking order, it was a time where only one other table was occupied by two person who were already served.

After about 5-10minutes of waiting we had to ask for taking our order.
As for order, they said they have biriyani and took order.

Where in fact chicken was over and they didn't bothered to inform even after 20-25 min waiting.
After enquiring about the delay the same was informed and we were made to wait for another 15 min or so.

Finally they brought chilled biriyani (it was really that cold) with half cooked chicken.

Most surprising part was they didnt provide Menu card or Bill there.

Please avoid biriyani here atleast.
