Mothers Veg Plaza

One of the must experience food experiences when visiting Trivandrum. While Kerala is famously known for its non-veg food it feels wrong to suggest a veg place. But this place stands for how good and understated the vegetarian variety Kerala cuisine has on offer. Given their unlimited servings with a variety of dishes and a prompt service, this place is like none other. Absolutely recommended.

Onam sadhya is really great. We went twice. Good quality, hygiene and they serve with love.
Would love to go back again.

The restaurant is not marinating the previous standard. RI last two days I ordered at swigggy and the rice was not cooked properly. It was half cooked and. Many times itemsbin sadhyabfound missing. I suggest them to take care of these issues and retain their old standard and taste.

One of the finest veg restaurants in tvm. Service is appreciable. I tried their sadhya which priced 240 rs. All the curries were good. The highlight of the sadhya is 4 types of Payasam. They also have good varieties of dosas

And I personally didn't like mother's special dosa.felt like too many things were mixed and it was sour.simple masala dosa better any day

Worst experience with the hotel.very un professional way of handling online orders. The quality of food ordered online is very bad. Also, day by day quality of food and service offered was decreasing drastically. Today I ordered our lunch through Zomato and waited for one and half hour before ordering from another hotel. Worst experience ever had. I ordered food for my father who was admitted to a hotel. Even then I waited for around one hour. The behaviour of staff over the phone was very bad. They hanged my call when I was speaking to them.very unprofessional and insane behaviour from the hotel.will never suggest this hotel to anyone.

Awesome place for Kerala sadhya and mouth watering dosas, south, north, fusion and many unique own recepies I guess. Must visit and must try

Meals are served in banana leaf and served hot.tasty and must visit place if you love Kerala Sadya. Once had Paneer fried rice but found bit oily. Ambience is good.

Perfect. If you are a a vegan. The South Indian, specifically Kerala, style food is tasty to put it mildly. Lovely sambar, fabulous parippu, pulisseri, Rasam and all the assorted titbits which go along with Kerala Sadya. Also available are other vegetarian dishes like Paratha, vegetable kurma. All tasty.
Sadly owing to Covid the restaurant has only take away counters. So no interior photos.

Onam Sadhya was packed excellently. Dishes were yummy and tasty. The management of the people should have been through online booking and que system to avoid crowd in the present situation.

Great food for veggies but a bit busy though during weekend evenings. They have a wide variety of dosas. Spl mother’s Dosa is one among the best.

The food items in this restaurant is average. We had Masala Dosa, maysore masala dosa, corn dosa… the taste of all dosas were average. Chatni was good but sambhar was not the the traditional way.

May be due to covid protocol.service wasn't that great as before.only one bearer for almost 20 people who were sitting there and also would suggest if they can advise the manager or person who was standing in the front to keep a smile on the face and be welcoming.food was not bad.

All veg restaurant with very good food and service. You can often spot the owner among the staff, taking suggestions and making sure that the service is good.

I am now editing this review and giving this place a one star after being cheated out of my onam sadhya. Booked for five people and waited 3 hours to finally refund my money and having to order from else where. After this experience, I found out that this is a regular problem they have been having for 3 years now. They have without a doubt disappointed thousands of people this onam. Inexcusable business model, the management should be sued for cheating customers.

NOT EVEN 1 STAR! We ordered onam sadhya for thiruvonam on 8th aug. They asked us our complete details -address, 2 alternative nos. I clearly asked if theres anything more to do from our side, they said nothing as such payment on delivery it was 910rs for 2 meals and service charge 150.and they gave us a token no. 224. Hence our order was confirmed. But we did not recieve any sadhya or any call frm their side we kept repeatedly calling frm 11am til 4pm on thiruvonam and next day also. Til now the no. Is constantly busy.

Ordered sadya for thiruvonam. They didn’t deliver. Highly unprofessional. These kind of vendors should be closed, who mess up peoples ONAM

Worst delivery. Pre-booked onam sadhya for my family for thiruvonam. They made us standing in a long queue for 3 hours. Packing and delivery was too slow and still they were accepting new orders though thousands of orders were pending delivery. Just money minded management and no consideration for customer's difficulties. Never opt them for such good occasions.

It's a tragedy.we had booked food for onam weeks ago. The hotel failed to deliver.we kept on callling from morning they were not answering.we are planning to file a case in consumer forum for cheating. They had promised to supply food on onam day by 12 o clock. On not recieving it went to the hotel, but no one was there to hear our grievances. This is nothing short of cheating and deception. Hotels like this should be boycotted

Worst experience ever had in my life. Bad Customer Service, mismanagement, unorganised to cater huge quantity during special occasions.

Booked for Onam Sadya i week ago. Today (thiruvonam 21/8/21) Waited from11AM and got food pkt at 3.30pm (of course the food was good!). Really fed-up by waiting in queue for long hours. If management can not provide food plz don't take orders for more then what they can really serve on time.i will never book onam sadya again at Mothers Veg Plaza.

After having waited in line for three whole hours to get the onam sadhya from 12 pm to 3 pm, we finally got our meals. Took it home and opened to see all dishes packed in silver foil packets, not labelled, just a huge pile inside the box. And then we open these mysterious packets to find out the payasam has a sour taste since it has gone off. The kichadi had gone bad too. For having payed a huge amount and purchasing 19 sadhyas and having the entire family wait till 3, this is what we got. If you cannot fulfill these many number of orders then do no accept them. The insane crowd, the waiting and the service was purely disastrous, that too for this food on the day of thiruonam. PATHETIC!

ഇത്രയും മോശമായിട്ട് ഒരു ഓണം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. മദേഴ്സ് വെജ് പ്ലാസ യിൽ നിന്ന് സദ്യയ്ക്ക് ടോക്കൺ എടുത്തിരുന്നു. ഹോം ഡെലിവറി ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്, തിരുവോണത്തിന് അന്ന് ആരും വിളിച്ചത് പോലുമില്ല. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഓണം അലങ്കോലമാക്കി എന്നുമാത്രമല്ല, എന്റെ ചില സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾക്ക് സാമ്പാറും പരിപ്പും മോരും ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല പാക്കറ്റിൽ.

ഭക്ഷണം എത്ര ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ള താണെങ്കിലും ഗുണഭോക്താക്കൾക്ക് നല്ല സേവനം ലഭ്യമായില്ലെങ്കിൽ ആരും വരില്ല.

Customer is the King. Good customer service is very much essential to run a profitable business.

I have an advice. Never book onam sadhya on Thiruvonanam day or onam days from mother plaza. If you do your onam will be spoiled on that day.worst service, they are not even least planned or systematic. We booked thiruvonam sadya this year. They told us to collect at 10.30 am but we got it at 4pm. Ada payasam is already rotten. We didn't get many recipes and same dishes have repeated. In short we could eat onam sadya only at 5.30. At this stage many items became useless. A humble request to motherplaza if you can't deliver it in time don't take orders.
