Very bad quality food was served on last Sunday (26/11/2023) and they are not focusing keep good quality foods which was given earlier

Like said by many others. Toddy is amazing. But the food is even better. Variety of meat available. Every dish has authentic taste

Very worst experience. No proper response when waiting for food. Long delay. Don't waste your valuable time and money.

Its the most well known Toddy shop of the town. But now only the name alone is left now. There is some foul smell inside the shop. Tables were not at all cleaned and there were full of food wastes on the floor. The suppliers will make the customers think that they have come for some free meal. Food taste is good, that alone is a positive. Suppliers dont encourage digital payments as they feel like they dont get any tips if we make online payment. Card payments are not accepted here. Parking space available 50 metres away from the shop. The shop which was renowed for family crowd once is now not at all recommended! Very much disappointed

The place is simply overrated. There are much better toddy shops with great ambiance in Kochi. I must say you should visit a toddy shop with good ambiance like the many toddy shops in Kochi that faces the back waters.

Some dishes were good. Still I wouldn't say that it is excellent. I don't know what this hype is about. The place reeks of toddy. No hygiene at all.

Personally i dont think they serve pure toddy. Anyway after 15-20 minutes of drinking 2 glass "mootha kallu" the kick started to pop out.

Mullapanthal Toddy shop is an excellent place to have kerala cuisine along with locally brewed Toddy. This place is a must visit for all food lovers coming to Kochi. Apart from freshly brewed toddy some of the special items here are: fresh prawns, karimeen, duck, crab, beef roast, etc. The place is clean and have good seating capacity. They also have separate seating area family and groups. Prices are nominal/ affordable and service is also good (except for rush/ peak hours). Parking is available few metres before the eatery.

If you want a taste of Sweet toddy with the spicy meat dishes Kerala was famous for this "restaurant" is Ideal. They are open from 8 in the morning, a little too early for the food they serve. Its Ideal for brunch. In the mornings many families turn up for a very old time Kerala meal. They serve many different sea food as well as spicy beef and pork besides curried tapioca, rice and appams. The chilly in the "masala" is toned down when compared to the usual toddy shop fare which makes it easier on the stomach. The kitchen is kept very clean. We were told it is very popular with tourists. Around mid day the crowds start to arrive and soon those interested in the toddy rather than the food arrive. Not very advisable for women and children to visit the pace in the afternoons or evenings when the crowds could get a bit rough. The rooms are air conditioned so you don't feel the moist summer heat of Kerala. I wouldn't visit the place on a regular basis but for those who would like to experience the feel of old Kerala toddy shops and the typical Malayalie non-vegetarian food it is an excellent place

Best shap food in ernakulam.their karimmeen polichathu is famous. All dishes are spicy and yummy. Not a big ambiance.service is good.thala curry is my favourite item.

Absolutely wonderful place. Tasty yummy sea food, Beef, Pork, appam Kallumakai that's mussels. Guys traveling to Cochin never miss this place. You will love the food served there and courteous Stewart assisting to quench your hunger. Enjoy guys. We group of friends enjoyed a lot.

Nothing fancy, went there after about 20 years. I am sure we would have enjoyed it better if we had got the AC room. Fish fry needs to be a bit better, kallumakka was excellent, chicken and kuzuva was average.

Great with amazing tasty food! Its okay for families however its mostly crowded due to high demand for their food. Its little bit costly.but the food is really great so its worth spending for. You should especially try their Prawns roast. Parking area is available

This place is good for local food but the service is very bad and the overall experience is not good, there is waiting for about 45 minutes. Good for locals but very bad for tourists.

Looking for some awesome and typical toddy shop spicy cuisine then u have reached the right place.the food is cooked on fire wood.one must see the kitchen to experience the same.

All you would expect from a toddy bar in Kerala. Voted 5 for its food, variety and chilled Toddy.
Best suited for families in the afternoon and this is quite a bar in the evening.
Cleanliness is below par for a family restaurant but above par for a toddy bar.
Best known for their fish varieties and exotic options unlike normal toddy bars around Kottayam, Ernakulam and Alleppey!
But to be frank - this would be in the top 3 for good and tasty food in Cochin.

We visited this place in the evening. It’s not a good time to visit with family as it is toddy shop. So visit for lunch. The food is good, less costly and staffs are also good. Cleaning is not good, they have to improve a lot.

How to reach the place in Bus?: you can catch bus which is going through Trippunithara - Puthiyakavu. Get down in puthiyakavu and catch an auto costing Rs 30.
