Resort provides boat in the mangrove forest. Food is good. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Nice place with a great view surrounded by water and coconut trees. Pedal Boating and fishing will entertain us inside the resort.
The regular food is provided based on the timetable is quite disappointing. But food is good.

Not worth for package they offered! Rooms were too tiny dining hall also not well maintained. Not all services are available those were mentioned in package. Whatever you ask, they have excuses ready?

They have boating within the property and hence we can use both pedal boats and rowboats any number of times.
Other attractions include a separately paid boat ride for 3 hrs

We had a good stay at the Munroe Resort - the view is nice, the rooms are well-kept. I really liked the food here too.

Well maintained property with ample space for parking and good view. I would have rated 5 stars, my last visit here gave me a bitter experience. Booked the place with the help of a local guy. Got breakfast as complimentary during my first visit. During my second visit when asked they informed breakfast was complimentary and they charged me the amount after I left the place next day and threatened my local help over there. That guy called and begged me to pay the amount. Poor Service

Wonderful owner and staff make you feel at home. Good in house boating options, guided tour of canals and backwaters. Food is customised as you desire and is good, specially seafood.

Munroe Island Lake Resort is a small property and can be rated as an average resort. We went on a one-day package which had a two-hour canoeing, breakfast, lunch, evening tea and snacks, and a room included. The best part was the canoeing during sunrise which is a must try for any visitor to the island. The experience is unique and gives you a chance to enjoy the pristine beauty of nature.

The food was average even though there are many choices. The food doesn’t look anything like the photos they have in their Instagram/other social media handles. The rooms/cottages are small and do not have good pillows, clean bedsheets, blankets, kettle, toiletries, mugs/glasses, etc. There are no other activities other than fishing (you’ll have to pay for your catch) or peddle boating. There is no designated parking area or Wi-Fi. The dining area is just basic with broken taps and almost-empty handwash. There is no adequate staff and they are not well-trained to host guests. Everything in the resort is just basic, nothing extraordinary. This is just okay for a one day outing, not for stay overs.

The resort has to go a long way to go to give its guests a unique experience.

Worst Service ever received! The Food was ruined. Cleanliness and Hygiene was in the least scale. Would never recommend a stay here!

Room smells, bedsheet and pillows are dirty, food also same better to go only for boating. Pathetic room service tv not working called them 5-6 times no response. Everything is bad except boating.

Worst worst worst ever. They even not worth for single star. They get advance payment through their booking website.while visiting there they are claiming that there is no rooms available.and they diverted us to one homestay which also very worst. The staffs are not really a staffs. They don't know anything about customer service. Worst ever

Osm place to stay. Very good ambience. But room is comparatively small. But that doesn't many any difference cos the ambience and location is too good and the rates are also very reasonable. One should definitely try this place.

This is neat a d quiet place in this island, quite a long way from the NH. Limited rooms -5 chalets are available. And a dining area. Service is good. Aircon and comfortable rooms, hot water supply. Resort is built around backwaters, so you need to navigate around narrow paths to move from one chalet to next. Stagnant water attracts mosquitoes, so you be indoors after 6pm. Won't r commend this place during summers or just before rainy as the weather is hot and humid then. Not enjoyable. Food is prepared from fresh fish caught from the island. But preparations can be better. Not to be booked if you want to host a group. Can be ok for family visit or for a weekend break with friends. Munroe island offers boat rides which are interesting and a must try once exp.
