Muruppel Homestay

I recently stayed at this charming resort and was thoroughly impressed. The ambience was delightful, creating a serene atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The beautiful water frontage, especially being so close to the picturesque Kakkattar river, added a touch of tranquility to the experience.

The highlight was undoubtedly the delicious homely food served at the resort. Each meal felt like a culinary journey, showcasing the flavors of the region with a comforting, homemade touch. The hospitality was exemplary, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Overall, a perfect blend of natural beauty, delectable cuisine, and warm hospitality makes this resort a top-notch destination.

Family person good place

We had a beautiful experience me and my friends were on holy trip for Shabarimalai, the stop here made our journey more joyful. We had a nice rest and the property owners were so helpful giving us the needy. I would like to suggest this as a pit stop for rest and the Pamba river flowing near the homestay was show steeler

A fyn n neat home stay for family n friends. A well mannered welcoming by the house owner. Preparing food also. A river sound behind the house makes us to feel the inner soul. Wifi works in good speed. Neat n clean rooms beds n toilets makes us to feel like staying in own house.

എനിക്ക് അവിസ്മരണീയമായ ഒരു താമസം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ ആതിഥ്യം എന്നെ ഉലച്ചു. ഭക്ഷണം ഗൃഹാതുരവും രുചികരവും ആരോഗ്യകരവുമായിരുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ഹോംസ്‌റ്റേയുടെ പിൻഭാഗത്തുള്ള നദിയും എനിക്കിഷ്ടമായിരുന്നു. ഒരുപാട് പച്ചപ്പ് നിറഞ്ഞ മനോഹരമായ ചുറ്റുപാട്.

A good n safe home stay for family n friends. Parking avail. Wifi avail. Veg n non veg Food avail by prior order. River at back side of home can utlized for bathing. Totally a safe home for stay

Reasonably a good homestay around that area. Safe and secured with good hospitality by the owners with warmful care. Spring water flow at their back yard is simply awesome. Got a very tasty Break fast and homely meals. Overall I had relaxed stay compared to 100's of home / resorts stay in several countries.
Soon to visit again with my family.

We three of us from Bangalore visiting the place Today. We are on way to Sabarimala. This homestay is memorable. Took 02 times bath in Kakkataar river backyard of this hotel. Food is excellent. Anyone coming from train need to take bus to Aanamozhi from Pathanamthitta. Recommended

The best place for Stay. If you are travelling with family, the location and ambience is really good. Mohan Chetan and chechi are best in hospitality. The home made food is very tasty and best kerala food. It's safe and hygiene place for stay. The owners are like family members. We recommend the stay for location, facilities and hospitality of the owners.

Located in tranquil angunmuli village by a river. As sabarimala is located in forest area, no hotels allowed there except devasthanam accomodation. This homestay provides comfortable accommodation, and there is good connectivity to nilackal n other places by autos n cabs. Great hospitality n comfortable home food. All amenities available in rooms.

P. S: Have to mention chappathi and kurma prepared by aunty. North indians can rest assured.cheers

Total satisfaction of stay with Nature. The stay becomes more enjoyable with warm hospitality and special local food from Mrs and Mr. Mohanan. Must visit if you are close to Sabarimala temple and Gavi forest area. Mr. Mohanan also taken care of our local travel needs and arrangements.

The natural river fun one cannot miss. We were half day in river, thr river is just adjacent to home stay.

The hospitality provided by Mr. & Mrs. Mohan were like a close relative and even we will not get this kind of hospitality from our closed ones. The location of the property is ultimate with flowing river beside the stay and the water was so clean and we took a bath over there. The rooms so clean and well maintained. The place is located in a calm and peaceful environment. Located about 32 km from pamba/sabarimala. Totally worth staying in Muruppel homestay. Kindly visit and stay over there. Thank you.

The Muruppel Homestay is a fantastic place to stay close to Sabarimala. It's inexpensive and in a great location. The location is excellent and close to a river. In your free time, you can unwind and enjoy the river. It is a little house with two bedrooms and one, a dining room, and a sitting area. They provide a dining table, refrigerator, 3-seater sofa, and two beds in the bedroom in addition to the dining area. Mohan, the host, and his wife are kind and welcoming. Mr. Mohan assisted us in arranging a cab to take us to Sabarimala, and it was reasonably priced. Food is excellent and made at home. He also granted the requested hour-long extension. Overall, the location is extremely great.

The host Mr. & Mrs. Mohan were commendable in hospitality, the rooms are nice, location of the property is awesome with river/ stream flowing in front of the property. The homely food was sumptuous, with local Kerala cuisine. Felt at home at this calm, peaceful environment.
