Regularly been dining here. The atmosphere is decent, food is tasty and overall pretty hygienic. Never really faced any waiting delay but might get crowded in the noon or around evening.

I'd say there's sufficient parking considering the location they are in making it ideal for long distance travellers.

Have had food at all times, The biryani is excellent, ghee roast and porotta are always fresh and crisp and perfect.

Is a little on the pricier side but the food has always satisfied me.

On avg costed around ₹200-400/person but surely worth it.

It's really a travellers restaurant. It's near the Kannur - Tellicherry road. South, north and Mughal dishes are available. Tasty food. Best restaurant for biriyani especially for chicken biryani. Both AC and non AC dine in facilities. They have toilets outside the dining hall. Neat wash area. Spacious dine in hall. Car parking lot also available in front of the restaurant and nearby.

Best restaurant in town. Awesome food. Reasonable prices. Well behaved staff.

Personal favourite is thier chicken biryani.
But their mutton is too soft and good.

40 mnt കാത്തു നിന്നിട്ട് ഫുഡ് കിട്ടിയത് അതാണെങ്കിൽ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്ത ഐറ്റം അല്ല തന്നത്. കറിയൊക്കെ തിരക്കിട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത് കൊണ്ട് ഒരു ടേസ്റ്റും ഇല്ല. വിശപ്പ് കൊണ്ട് കഴിച്ചു പോന്നു.

It's a good experience, the ambiance is very welcoming. Easy to access from NH.and no so expencive $$$. I tried both chicken biriyani and fish curry both was good. If you want meals for lunch this is not a good option. Bcoz they are not serving meals there. Enough parking space is there. Easy to get in and out.

Food was good and fine. Owing to Covid protocol the restaurant was not open to public but delivery of parcel food was done in an efficient manner.

Excellent service and delicious food items are available here. Parking facility is also available. Very near to main road. Kannur south rly stn and bus stand is very near. Dt HQ hospital Kannur is also very near. NV and veg items are available here. Reasonable price for all items.

Usually I opt takeaway from here inorder to avoid the waiting time.but this time I ordered from vipani app. The order got delivered fast. What I ordered was chicken biriyani and dragon chicken and both were good enough. It was packed nicely and hot enough. So quite happy with the food quantity and taste but the dragon chicken is a bit different and not up to the mark from what I tried from other restaurants in Kannur.

Ordered Chicken Biriyani from them which turned out to be stale and cause stomach problems for us. Haven't faced any such problems from any other restaurant in town. When we called the number that was available online, the manager refused to take note of this issue and gave us another number to contact which turns out doesn't exist. Will never order from here, given the customer service they provide I will specifically spread word of mouth for such shoddy food and service that they provide.

Its the best place to enjoy malabar dum biryani.the table settings is an open style, the waiting period is very less and very friendly staff. One of the main choices of biryani lovers in kannur.

Was better before covid when thali was available. Only if they start it again would a be great place to visit for food.

Hands down the Best Chicken Biryani in Kannur.
Quantity is more than sufficient. And Ending the Meal with a Lime Tea. Just Delicious.

Had a sumptuous mutton biriyani, and felt more than fulfilling, since am a guy from down south, I can't match the standards of mutton biriyani from the south to the north! Highly recommended!

I am a frequent visitor and Now the quality of the restaurant is going downward. They will give you a menu book which during ordering you will find that the time you spent, on going through it, is a waste, and you will get whaT they prefer. The food they serve is perfect at quality and quantity. The biriyani is one of the best in town. The best place to go and have food in Kannur. They have only a limited parking space. So if it is on a rush day, then it is difficult to find parking area. Overall good.

My son wanted a simple North Indian meal. Ordered Aloo mutter (potatoes and peas curry) and tandoori roti. The curry was devoid of any taste, the potatoes were fresh boiled and the roti's had done some time on the side and had the texture or rubber. We Went here seeing the sheer crowd and some word of mouth we had heard earlier. My test for any restaurant is the experience of the simplest dishes. Sadly disappointing culinary experience. Highly over-rated place in this regard

One of the best restaurants in town for decades now opened a new restaurant at a very reachable place. The new place is very spacious, the ambiance awesome. Clean and quite with a very good atmosphere too. AC and non AC tables available. Place is crowded all the time so parking might be painful if you are going at peak hours. The waiters were courteous and helpful too. Super recommended if you love to have Biriyani the kannur style. Finally, whatever food we had was. Delicious and finger licking good.

A sister restaurant to the famous MVK restaurant at Kannur, this place is known for Malabari biriyani. Restaurant is very spacious with an airconditioned and non airconditioned area to dine. Parking facility is available and it's easy to see from the highway. Best of the best in Kannur.

Wide range of menu, taste is also good.there will be rush in pick timings. Seating area and kitchen was very clean. They use dish washer to clean plates, I got slightly hot plates. Rates are reasonable.

Is this a branch of the famous MVK restaurant in kannur? The only thing good about this place is it has ample parking, loads of seating and fast service. The food is just average. I had chicken Biryani (hard fried chicken, not good), chapati butter chicken (tasty, but small portion) and lemon tea (the best of the lot). Will recommend cos it's an open kitchen, looks neat and easily noticed from Highway. It doesn't come close to the Old MVK in terms of taste.

Lovely yummy biryani. The best place for Biryani on Kannur. Especially try their Prawn biryani. It is located right on the National Highway & us ideal for travellers.

Generally tends to be crowded, as it is a very popular eating destination amongst the locals too. But well worth the wait.

Best restaurant in KANNUR but I wanna say that it's not a riders restaurant because it's not open at night and also doesn't provide any service! Rest everything are awesome and taken seriously by them. I got to say its all the day busy restaurant.

This place serves delicious Biriyani, what some people call ‘soft biriyani’. Slightly different from the usual Calicut Biriyani, it is soft and fluffy, probably a different type of preparation, most likely the Thalasseri variety. Come early as the place is usually packed as a sign of loyal following. Done here anytime when in Kannur!

Currently one of the best places to eat. This is one of the oldest restaurant groups in Kannur. Most of the dishes are tasty and they are successful in keeping the authentic taste which they have been maintaining for years. Don't miss the Chicken Biriyani.

We tried the Chicken Biriyani, but unfortunately the taste was very Ordinary, nothing special like old MVK. Didn't felt any spices in it. You will get better CBs in other small restaurants. MVK should try to improve the food Taste, not the Quantity.

One of the best restaurants in kannur to go with family or friends. It is located on the side of highway and easily accessible. This is one of the oldest restaurant groups in kannur and still they maintain their quality of the food. Very good service from everyone in the restaurant. They have very good parking space infront of the restaurant. And very good ambience and the restaurant have very good space. If you are travelling by the highway you must visit.
