Good place for seafood dishes especially fish fry dishes along with meals. But Fish fry rates vary as per the liking of the shop owner. Very expensive at all times. I visited 3 times.
Too much rate for fish fries.

Some good food spots won't impress you with its look but the taste of food will be exceptional.

If you are a person craving for homely food with variety of Seafood, then this is the perfect place. Should not expect an ambient place with lights and stuff. It's actually as it says. Naadan kada. A must try for foodies craving for seafood in reliable price. They have around 30 different seafood dishes. Gonna visit here often.

Best for having kerala meals with fish fry or fish curry. Very small shop having a seat capacity for about 30-35 people maximum and there will be huge rush during 12pm-1.30pm. No parking facility available. Situated near vanchiyoor court.

The meals they provide is average. When we think we could enjoy the fried items. It ends up becoming one of the most disappointing affair. Natholi fry I got was one of the worst ever.
They charged ₹200 for 5 or 6 small pieces of Prawns. The owner tries to trick us by placing items on our table without us asking for them. Hygiene is another issue that troubled me. They have kept food items on the floor on the way to the Wash through where people take their used banana leaves for disposing

Food is delicious and at cheap rates compared to other hotels. Only meals available with variety of fish items. Crowd is more cleanliness is average. Only problem is the waiter/owner who is compelling to buy more fish fry items and there is noticeable difference in service if we didn't buy fry items

They are charging 200 rupees for six small pieces of prawns fried. And the man who serves fish is too tricky and he does not reveal the price unless and untill we get the bill. The fish is too overpriced when compared to the quantity they are providing and other shops providing. Don't recommend shops to anyone please. Very much disappointed

I've visited this restaurant thrice. The normal meal is 60 rs which is reasonable.the food was great. Had a wholesome feel after the meal. But the fried fish items are at exorbitant rates. This is a small house Iike restaurant where we will get a homely feel but it is really rush during the peak hours. The owner often make you buy the costly fried meals.that is really not great. Owner tries assumptive or forced selling of king fish since it's 250 rs per plate and he tries selling only costly fish to customers. It's a bit chaotic during lunch time. Basically you get nervous because of the crowd you listen to the guy and order what he sells. No time to think here

കാലങ്ങൾക്ക് പുറകെ, 1950 കളിൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര അവണാക്കുഴിയിൽ ചെറിയ ഒരു ചായത്തട്ട് തുടങ്ങിയ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പേര് ശ്രീ രാമൻ നായർ. ഒരു പക്ഷേ ഇന്നിന്റെ രുചിയിലേക്കുള്ള ഒരു വൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ തൈ നടൽ ആണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കരുതി കാണില്ല. കാലം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ 8 മാസങ്ങൾക്ക് മുമ്പ് തിരികെ വിളിച്ചു. ഇന്ന് ആ ഭൗതിക ശരീരം ഇല്ല. എങ്കിലും അദ്ദേഹം കൊളുത്തിയ ഭക്ഷണത്തിലെ രുചിയുടെ തിരിനാളം ഇന്നും കെടാതെ പുതിയ തലമുറയിലും ഭദ്രമാണ്. പഴയ ആ വഴിത്താരകളിലേക്ക് ഒരു തിരിഞ്ഞ് നോട്ടം.

1960 കളിൽ ഉടമസ്ഥനായ ശ്രീ രാമൻ നായർ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരയിലെ അവണാക്കുഴിയിൽ നിന്നും തന്റെ തട്ടകം ആര്യശാലയിലോട്ട് മാറ്റി. ചായക്കടയായിട്ടായിരുന്നു തുടക്കം. ശ്രീ പി. മാധവൻതമ്പിയുടെ പാത്രക്കട ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതിന്റെ എതിരെ ശ്രീ പി. മാധവൻതമ്പിയുടെ തന്നെ വസ്തു വാടകയ്ക്കെടുത്തായിരുന്നു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ നിന്നും പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം. താമസിയാതെ പവർ ഹൗസ് റോഡിൽ ഒരു സ്ഥലം മേലാദായത്തിന് എടുത്ത് അങ്ങോട്ട് മാറി. ചായക്കടയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വരുമാനമായിരുന്നു ഇങ്ങോട്ട് മാറാനുള്ള പ്രധാന നിധാനമായി ഭവിച്ചത്. ആ സ്ഥലം പിന്നെ സ്വന്തമായി വാങ്ങി സ്വന്തം ഭക്ഷണയിടമായി തന്നെ തുടങ്ങി. മൂത്ത മകളുടെ പേരാണ് ഹോട്ടലിന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത് ഹോട്ടൽ ശ്രീകല. എങ്കിലും ആളുകൾ അതിനെ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നത് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരക്കാരന്റെ ഹോട്ടൽ എന്ന്. അങ്ങനെ കാല ക്രമത്തിൽ ഹോട്ടലിന്റെ പേര് ഹോട്ടൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര എന്ന് തന്നെയായി മാറി. പവർ ഹൗസ് റോഡിലെ ആ ഹോട്ടലിൽ സ്വന്തം സഹോദരനായ ഉണ്ണിയെന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന കൃഷ്ണൻ കുട്ടി നായരും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സഹായിക്കാനായി വരാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

1980 കളിൽ ശ്രീ രാമൻ നായരുടെ മക്കളായ ശ്രീ രമേശ് ശ്രീ സുരേഷ് ശ്രീ രാജേഷ് എന്നിവരും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സഹായിക്കാനായി വന്നെത്തി. അച്ഛനും മക്കളും ചേർന്ന് ഓലക്കൂര മാറ്റി ഹോട്ടൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിനക്കര ഇന്നത്തെ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് കെട്ടിടമാക്കി മാറ്റി. ചായ, വട, ദോശ, പുട്ട്, പെറോട്ട, അപ്പം, ഇടിയപ്പം, ഊണ്, ബിരിയാണി, ചിക്കന്‍, ബീഫ് ഇതൊക്കെയായിരുന്നു ഇവിടത്തെ ഭക്ഷണ വിഭവങ്ങൾ. അക്കാലത്ത് പെറോട്ടയ്ക്കും ബീഫിനും പേര്‌ കേട്ട സ്ഥലമായിരുന്നു ഹോട്ടൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിന്‍കര.

കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇങ്ങനെ സുഗമമായി പോകവേ നല്ല മീനും കൂട്ടി നാടൻ ഒരു ഊണ്; അതിന് വേണ്ടി മാത്രം ഒരു ഭക്ഷണയിടം തുടങ്ങണമെന്ന് ഒരു ചർച്ച ഇടയിൽ വന്നു. അതിൽ നിന്ന് ഉരുതിരിഞ്ഞ് ഉണ്ടായതാണ് "നാടൻ കടയും വീട്ടിലെ ഊണും". 2018 സെപ്തംബർ മാസം വഞ്ചിയൂർ ത്രിവേണി നഴ്സിംഗ് ഹോമിനടുത്തായി ഈ ഭക്ഷണയിടം തുടങ്ങി; അതിന്റെ പ്രയാണം വിജയകരമായി തുടരുന്നു. മകൻ ശ്രീ രമേശിനെ ആണ് വഞ്ചിയൂരുള്ള ഹോട്ടലിന്റെ ചുമതല ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഒപ്പം സഹായിക്കാനായി ശ്രീ രമേശിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ ശ്രീ രാജേഷും, ശ്രീ രാമൻ നായരുടെ മൂത്ത മകളായ ശ്രീമതി ശ്രീകലയുടെ മകനായ ശ്രീ ശ്രീജിത്തും മുന്നിൽ തന്നെയുണ്ട്.

ശ്രീ രാമൻ നായരുടെ നിര്യാണത്തെ തുടർന്ന് പവർ ഹാസ് റോഡിലെ ഹോട്ടൽ നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര താല്ക്കാലികമായി അടച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പുതുക്കലകൾക്ക് ശേഷം താമസിയാതെ തുറന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും.

“നാടൻ കടയും വീട്ടിലെ ഊണും” കടയിലെയും വിശേഷങ്ങളിലേക്ക്

വെളുപ്പിനെ വിഴിഞ്ഞം, വലിയതുറ, പെരുമാതുറ തുടങ്ങിയ സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ പോയി മീന്‍ നേരിട്ട് കണ്ട് വാങ്ങി കടയില്‍ എത്തിക്കും. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കളും സഹജീവനക്കാരും (ജീവനക്കാരിൽ കൂടുതൽ പേരും ബന്ധുക്കളാണ്) പാചകം ചെയത് തുടങ്ങും. ദിവസവും പത്തിലധികം മീനുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടാവും. സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഐറ്റം എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് കൊഞ്ച് തീയല്‍ ആണ്‌. ഫ്രഷ്നസ്സും ലഭ്യതയ്ക്കുമനുസരിച്ച് ഇടയ്ക്ക് ചിപ്പിയും ഞണ്ടും ഉണ്ടാവും.

നമ്മുടെ ഭക്ഷണാനുഭവം
രണ്ട് ഊണും ഒരു നെയ്മീൻ ഫ്രൈയും കൊഞ്ച് ഫ്രൈയുമാണ് പാഴ്സൽ മേടിച്ചത്. ഇതല്ലാതെ ചോറിന് കറികൾ അവിയൽ, കാരറ്റ് തോരൻ, സാമ്പാർ, പുളിശ്ശേരി, മോര്, മീൻ ചാർ, മരിച്ചീനി, നാരങ്ങ അച്ചാർ.

ചോറ് നല്ല ചമ്പാവരി ചോറ് വാഴ ഇലയിലായിരുന്നു പൊതിഞ്ഞ് കിട്ടിയത്. കാരറ്റ്, തോരൻ, അച്ചാർ, മരീച്ചിനി എന്നിവ പ്രത്യേകം പ്രത്യേകം ഇലകളിൽ ചോറിന്റെ കൂടെ പൊതിഞ്ഞ് തന്നത് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

ചോറ് നല്ല ക്വാളിറ്റിയും രുചിയും ആവശ്യത്തിലുള്ള അളവിലുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവിയൽ, തോരൻ എല്ലാം നല്ല രുചിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; വീട്ടിൽ വയ്ക്കും പോലെ. അച്ചാറും കൊള്ളാം. തൊട്ടാൽ അലിയും മരിച്ചീനിയും ആ ഗ്രേവിയും അടിപൊളി കോമ്പിനേഷൻ. നെയ്മീനും കൊഞ്ചുമെല്ലാം വായിൽ വെള്ളം നിറയും രീതിയിൽ രുചിയിൽ മികച്ച് നിന്നു. സാമ്പാറും പുളിശ്ശേരിയും മോരും എല്ലാം വളരെ നല്ലത്. മൊത്തത്തിൽ സംതൃപ്തകരമായ കടയുടെ പേരിനെ അന്വർത്ഥമാക്കുന്ന രീതിയിൽ നല്ലൊരു ഊണ്.

What a meal, This is the excellent place to find the sea foods with lots of varieties, strongly recommend to everyone

A much recommended spot for lunch, their speciality is fish items. All of their fish items are fresh and very tasty. Price is bit higher, but considering the quality its ok.

Fish fry is ok. But their food serving is not good. Because they did not providing the food properly ad well as as per requirement.

Eat only meals from there, don't order Fish fry/Fish curry. Suddenly you can see waiter/owner start playing with fish dishes.while you are eating meals he come with fry/curry and keep it in front of your meals and go to other table, he is pretending that he has kept the dish in front of your meals as he couldn't carry all dishes in his hand, then he will come back and check we are eating or not, many people get irritated with this activity and return the fish dish and forcefully he wants people to consume his fry/curry with meals. Many time people will call and ask to take back the fry which was not ordered. After that also he will repeat the same drama and he will take the fry and keep fish curry without the permission of customers. He is also charging very high for fish dishes both fry and curry, so for this play he will forcefully make people buy fish curry/fish fry along with meals. If you want to know his real character just order meals only without fish curry/fry, then you can see this smart guy keeps on irritating till the end of your meals by keeping fish curry/fry without your permission or he will intentionally delay your side dishes which have to served along with meals for buying his fish curry. This behaviour has to be stopped guys, as this shop is located near court and many people with limited money come to eat lunch due to hunger and lack of time to visit other restaurants. The waiter/owner is utilising this situation for putting rates as per their wish by forcefully serving Fish fry/curry dishes to customers who come for eating lunch. His simple technique is to bill an amount of 200 Rs / person who come to have lunch. This should not be entertained.

A great place for fresh seafood. It's not a fancy or high end restaurant. The price of fish dishes are a bit high compared to a restaurant of this class.
