Nangelil Hospital

I sought treatment at Nangelil hospital due to severe back pain. Each and every one of the doctors here have been able to show the most exemplary work as a hospital. My back pain which persisted after many other treatments got 100% relief with the expert treatment of Dr.vijayan sir and his team at Nangelil. Recommend this hospital for others. Thank you all.

Dr. Vijayan Nangelil, Dr. Jaya Vijayan, Dr. Vijith Nangelil are expert Doctors in the field of Ayurveda and Traditional Asthi Marma Treatment. I would recommend Nangelil Hospital, for those who are looking for a genuine treatment for pain relief and overall well-being.
My personal experience is that
after getting treatment in Nangelil Hospital I feel much relieved my pain and feeling much better as a whole my health condition. I appreciate the service that the doctors and other staff render to the patients. Treatment is excellent, but I need to wait patiently for gradual recovery. I thank God for the doctors who had given me the treatment and as a result I feel much better now.

I never met a doctor at the treatment room during my stay of 17 days. Doctors never supervise the treatment in the treatment room to ensure procedures followed are proper.
You never get treatment details during your stay.
Advised massaging for my spouse by Dr. Vijayan, but received THEPPU during our stay. We came to know about it from our discharge summary.
Treatments are completely under the control of therapists. Many are arrogant to answer queries.
Tried to get treatment briefing during our stay was unsuccessful.
If you know about ayurveda treatment modalities, not recommended to visit this hospital.
Wasted ₹37000 + food bills.

I was admitted for two weeks at Nangelil Ayurveda Hospital this month. Needless to say I am currently on top of the moon after my treatment. While admitted I was not even able to lift my arm more than 25%, after the treatment I am 100% satisfied with the result. I am glad I took the decision to go to Kerala for this treatment. The process was quite straightforward and smooth starting from my interaction with PRO Lekha, who communicated so well and arranged appointments with Dr. Vijith V Nangelil over the phone.  Lekha also made sure that I had a nice stay at Nangelil and I am happy to say the facilities at the hospital is second to none.
I have only respect towards Dr. Vijith who was so welcoming over the phone and as a person.  As I have a risky medical history, he took that as a challenge and the result was positive. He is a real gem.
Dr. Athira is so compassionate and used to brighten my days with her daily visits. I have only admiration and love for all the wonderful nurses who took care of me. I cannot forget Shobha chechi and Nirmala chechi (Massage Therapists), they were literally looking after me like their own daughter!  Thay do have lots of patience and was so encouraging with their approach. I am also thankful to Denna, the physiotherapist, who uses her diversional therapy skills during the sessions. The room and the surrounding are so clean and spotless, thanks to Manju and bhai! The canteen team deserves a big shout out for serving me healthy meals throughout. Babu chettan, the hospital security staff was also highly helpful. The hospital has good parking facility. Overall I am so happy that I chose Nangelil Hospital for my treatment and I 100% recommend this place for any who have ortho/neuro issues. Once again a great shout out to the whole TEAM… You guys are amazing! THANK YOU!

Excellent treatment and care of patients for orthopaedic and neurological problems. I personally am a beneficiary of the hospital's treatment and would highly recommend it to anyone having chronic ortho and/or neuro problems.

I was totally impressed by the way I was treated first time when I met Dr Vijayan Nangelil in 2015 and the way he followed up. Since then me and my wife visited him periodically for the wellness of our overall health. During our latest visit in October 2022, we really enjoyed our stay in their newly bult accommodation on the 3rd floor with more amenities. Dr Vijayan is not only an Excellent Doctor, he is simple, superb Human being, a Great Social Worker, friendly approach with smiling face with his selfless services. Always amazing treatment. My Mother was admitted to the hospital due to back pain after fell down, n it got cured by proper consultation n treatment by efficient doctors. I am thankful for their support to help my mother to comeback from backbone disc problems.

I had a very good experience in Nangelil hospital when my arm born cracked, they did good job. But this was years before.

Famous Nangelil Hospital near to Kothamangalam on the side of state highway 16. Nangelil family is originally from Pulluvazhy and they are specialist in ayurvedic tratment to simple and multiple fractures related to ortho. Cooperative staff. Ayurveda treatment like Dhara, Navara kizhi, body massage, thirummu etc are some of the treatments done here. Enough parking area.
