Nani Hotels and Resorts

Have been staying here since inception. Due to Covid they kept it closed for almost 3-4 years and have started again just during onam time. Need to do a lot of preventive maintenance. Start their original breakfast buffet which they had earlier with little more options. Fruits, diff egg preparations on demand, some variety dosa on demand like earlier times.

Old hotel Housekeeping and services are good Restaurant and food service is pathetic they didn't even supply bread after finished in Buffet row

Hotel is an old one and not updated. Doors, locks, water taps, showers, flush systems.are not working properly. No full time food service. Only saving face is the friendly attitude of staffs. They are good. I will never select this hotel again.

Nice and comfortable stay. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Attached Washroom is small and more brighter lighting would be good. They have a library.

Wonderful stay. Visiting Kollam for the first time but liked the place very much. Hotel is located at a central location (Clock Tower area) but is very quiet. Rooms and the Ambience were very good, so was the Hotel staff. You are served buffet breakfast, which is quite good. Overall the experience was excellent.

Advice pest control for this hotel. 310 had lots of bed bugs specifically.not safe for all! And less house keeping.

Not worth for their tariff.
No intercomm phone. Zero service.
No restaurant except buffet breakfast. TV with only malayalam channels. Better to avoid for this tariff. Please save yourself from a bitter experience. Cant be considered as a 3 star property but one step above a typical lodge.

When we arrived only one of the two lifts were working
The one which was working also stopped working

Not worth the damn price….
The stay was very poor and made us re think our decision multiple times…
We had asked for big rooms on call and they had agreed to provide it to us…
When we reached the place, the room provided was tiny with barely any space to walk at all….
They had added an extra bed for us and that just made things far worse.
A day later we found bed bugs and a lot of mosquitoes which were disgusting to experience….
The check in- check out procedure should be made more friendlier according to the customers choice…
The customer care and receptionist were barely helpful….
And finally to top it off, there was no complimentary food which u would receive in almost every hotel….
I would suggest the team to not be so negligent…

Poor housekeeping and mosquitoes and bed bugs seen inside room. Hotel should concentrate frequently treat the rooms with pesticides. The lady at the reception was not so pleasant to speak with customers, she needs to be trained. Checkout time to be flexible in regards to the customer request…overall experience was so trash/poor…

Rooms are clean, no in house restaurant. However you can order food from nearby restaurants which is top resturants in Kollam. Overall Good. No service hence rated 3star and its in prime location.

Oh please ask around in other hotels if you don't know what 24 hour check in means. And you are telling me that I liked the room after seeing it? Is that why we didn't even care to return to the reception and went straight back after seeing the room? And irrespective of having an attitude y'all lie as well. And for your kind information, with an amazing view we have found a fantastic stay within Kollam, and we have made 3 days booking as well. Their rooms are in a rate of 2500-3000 which I think is completely understandable. And more than anything their staffs are polite. We got a room according to our requirements for the same day we asked you for. And for your own sake and for the customers sake lose some attitude lady, and treat everyone well so that the hotel will run well.

This hotel located in main road. Parking space available and friendly front office executive behavior. 1 floor front office and visitors waiting area.

Good hotel to stay in Kollam if you don't want to stay near beach. They haven't started the kitchen yet so there is no breakfast. For lunch & dinner they have tie up with local restaurants they will deliver at the hotel. The rooms are quiet old and anciently designed. The person at reception I don't know if he is the owner or manager but was very helpful.

Pros: Friendly staff, neat and clean rooms, proximity to prime locations, calm and quiet ambience, quick response to customer concerns

Cons: Reduced facilities such as closed restaurant etc, smaller rooms including deluxe rooms, customer need to request for housekeeping etc. High charges in comparison to the facilities provided.

I used to be an ardent fan of Nani hotels and resorts prior to 2020. However, I am seeing drastic changes now in terms of how customers are accommodated. In my view, it is no more a value for money.

Very nice stay, due to covid restaurants are not available, neat and well maintained room, but room space is very low, good for a single person. Staff behavior is decent.

Looks quite traditional and old fashioned from outside but it's highly classical.top features and amenities.

Rooms are very dated and next to a noisy street. Room not cleaned during stay and only one towel for 2 people

The rooms are great, staff are polite and housekeeping is prompt. Would have given 4 stars but the complimentary breakfast is not upto the mark.

Horrible experience. This Onam, I ordered Sadya here. They told at 12 noon, it will be ready. Later it became 12.30, but even at 2 pm, it was not delivered. So many agitated customers waiting there. The scene showed complete out of control, no one was there to supervise, or even to address the customer.
By 2 pm, I got two packets, only on reaching home, it was found that not all items are included. Some items were kept in excess and so on.

All I got in the day of Onam, is such a poor experience from there plus extra pressure shoot, due to the irresponsible deal of the hotel

It is good place.conveniently located in the center of the town. Complimentary breakfast was good though the choices were limited.room had minor complaints. But okay.

Pride and prestige of my home town Kollam. Absolute professionalism in the service and treatment. Feel and experience the ambiance and quality stay with lovely food. This is gift to Kollam. The restaurant is amazing. Breakfast needs more variety especially south Indian and continental. The front office staff are exceptionally talented. I felt they are competing to provide better customer care and satisfaction. I felt i was in heaven. Little problems are faded mirrors, and rusted toilet fittings. Scratches in the closets, tiles and mirrors. Need more polished and modern electrical fittings. Was very calm, peaceful and pleasant. The professionalism is commendable. I will come back again.

The response from the Reception side is much more worse, even if we've priorly Booked. Not that much spacious and variety of the food is very Less when compared to other hotels buffet system.

Good rooms. Clean and well maintained wash rooms. BUT, the food is not so great.

I stayed a night so I had ordered room service, 70% of the menu is not available which they will inform, when we start ordering.

The breakfast is also not great. I asked for an omelette, it was too spicy for a breakfast. The tea was also quite bad.

The overall experience I'd say is good because the rooms are comfortable, clean and we'll furnished.
I wish they had better food choices and better QUALITY FOOD.

Stayed there for the weekend while attending an engagement. Parking is quite cumbersome if you drive a car there. However they do provide valet parking provided for guests. Rooms are fairly neat.

The Hotel is in the heart of Chinnakkada, Kollam. Easy access from Railway stations and bus stands. Have reasonable rates. Have a very nice meeting hall.

One of the best business and leisure hotels in Kollam. Rooms are neat and clean. A pleasant old world charm design. The restaurant serves delicious kerala, chinese, continental cuisine. Breakfast spread is reasonable with all basic components. Staff is very helpful. Location is in centre of the city and parking facilities perfect.

First time bad experiences today (12-06-2019) here at reception, refused to give room for earlier check in I waited for more than three hours in lobby area. Almost all hotels are allowing earlier check in without any cost for online (they are customer friendly) bookings in any travel site. My first and last visit here and I m not recommend my friends and relatives this Hotel @ Kollam.

Had a good stay at Nani hotel. Good staffs and their attitude towards all the situations should be appreciated. Got spotless linen and clean bathroom. Bathroom and toilet space is very less. Ample car parking and very easily accessible place. Thay also have very good restaurant and they customize the food if we asked for. Recommended for short term stay

This amazing hotel in Kollam, a beautiful sea-side town in Kerala, has a multi-cusine restaurant that offers some of the best Kerala food I have ever eaten. The chicken, fish and lamb dishes that we ordered were fresh, tender and were bursting with flavour. We also visited the highly rated Raviz hotel in the same town - but the food paled in comparison.
If you decide to spend a night or two in this town or are just passing by, the restaurant at Nani is a must-try! Our favourite dishes were the 'varutharicha chicken curry', the spicy mutton fry and an oh-so-delightful unique peanut & honey chicken starter.
We re definitely going to be back! What a great little treasure in quaint kollam!

It's a normal 3 star level hotel with good room service. But the rooms are very small for 3 people. They have decent restaurant with good food. Their Kerala meals are worth the try. They sell cashews but their quality is not nice. I bought one packet and it had worms.

This has been our one hot destination for lunch or dinner when we are around Kollam city. Great place, good ambience, authentic kerala specials, not very expensive too. Great service and hospitality. Best place for the 1st time visitors to Kollam.

Nani is a boutique hotel in the heart of Kollam. They are having a quality restaurant also. Rooms are little bit expensive. Food quality is excellent but we have wait to get it prepared.sea food items are little bit expensive.

Nice and clean room. Very comfy. The staff is very nice and helpful. They helped me organize a car with chauffeur in the middle of the night, which has been very much appreciated!
There is also a small fitness room on the last floor.
Also very close to the train station and small shops streets.

Service is too slow. Staff is too lazy. Attitude of managers too poor.

1. Food ordered in your in-house restaurant takes an average of 30 minutes to reach the table. Irrespective of of rush hours

2. Had informed the waiter at the restaurant that I would need bed coffee the next morning at 7: 00 am. This was written down.next morning when I called for it. I was informed that they were not aware of the instructions

3. While checking out a detailed verbal feedback for. Provided to your front desk manager. The least I expected was a simple apology for the inconvenience caused. But there was none

Nice hotels we went for a marriage function the hall was luxurious I am a vegetarian and they served me the best vegetarian food it is situated in chinnakkada

I attended a betrothal ceremony here. The hall was good enough for about 150 people and has good toilet facilities. The vegetarian food served was of good quality. The service was excellent. It is located in a crowded place and cinema theatre adjacent to it under the same management, parking was provided there, otherwise there seems to be inadequate parking space.
We saw some audition program going on there for some TV channel. This place seems to be popular and also well accessible.
