Nature Dale Plantation Villa

It was a lovely room with a balcony, we enjoyed our stay very much. The host was very helpful and had a simple but great meal the first evening. You stay close to the tea fields which you can hike through! With nice views!

We had an absolutely lovely stay in this accomodation. Shiva, the owner, was very friendly and attentive and was always on hand to help if we needed anything. The rooms were simple and clean, with stunning views from the balconies. The first room we stayed in had a broken shower but Shiva quickly resolved this problem by moving us to the adjacent room. Food was home cooked (limited choice) but was well-priced and very tasty. There were local hikes nearby that you can do without a guide, but Shiva was also happy to help us arrange a very reasonably priced guided hike that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip so far. It is also very easy to catch the bus to central Munnar if you need. The only thing to bear in mind is that the property is located down a steep hill which is not that easily accessible unless you are on foot. Overall a great place to stay

Nice place to stay
Our Munnar trip we spent two night here.
Not easy to reach there because it was 300 mtr far from main road but no problem if you contact property then they will come to pick up you by Jeep.
No restaurants available there.
If cook is there then no issue but limited items available.
Otherwise they can arrange from other side, it taking more time 2 to 3 hours.
Location very nice, just behind the pipe line point.
Atmosphere heart touching.
Room very nice and clean
Hot water available.

If you need silence and lovable atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Very kind and attentive hosts. The food is highly recommended. They are all very accommodating, dedicated and helpful. We felt very comfortable during the four days. Our room was optimally furnished and a lot of light could shine in. The location is also nice; great view and very quiet. Highly recommended!

Room are ok and natural view is best otherwise bad experience if you are family not suites for you because there is no hotel or basic need store nearby you must go 5km away or Munnaar if you have own vehicle it will ok for you otherwisr waste

Rates are reasonable and the hospitality and service is very good. Food is hygienic. Location is awesome and you can see nature's attraction from there

We had a great stay at nature dale Munnar. Shiva is a wonderful host. The homely food was hot and yummy, perfectly complimenting the cool weather. The rooms are neat and clean and the view is mind blowing.

Good place to visit. Views are awesome with budget friendly stay. Room service are good and responding quickly. Nice food. Appam kadalai Kari was my most liked one.

Don’t go by the images. You’ll be cheated. The room i got had their cleaning supplies in the wardrobe and locked. I could not use it. When questioned they were saying that they have no other space to store those stuffs and asked us to adjust. Bed and sheets were not clean.

Location: It’s about a 100 meters downwards from the main road. The road leading there is best accessed by 4x4 Jeep which Shiva and Seemianappa (Fantastic Father and son host) will readily provide. Just call them in advance.
Rooms: Very decent rooms for the price and very clean which was of utmost importance for me. The view from the rooms was just amazing as it’s located in a spice garden. Waking up to the sound of different birds is just what is needed to refresh your senses.
No Air conditioning in the rooms, but in this temperature you really don't need an AC, the fan is more than sufficent.
Hot shower was readily available.
Seemianappan is a fantastic cook and the Indian breakfast was more than awesome which is a must try.
Shiva was most helpful in organising transport etc when needed.

Such a wonderful place to stay just outside Munnar. Mesmerising view from the balcony. I came here to stay for one day but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Shiva and uncle are the best host. Uncle made best Kerala food. They are very caring. I felt sick one day and they took me to the nearest hospital instantly. I loved the nearby hiking trails for morning walk. Best part was the serene surroundings away from cacophony of Munnar.

Awesome rooms with comfortable beds and room space. The highlight of the room is the view from the balcony.

Host Shiva is a great man, he has arranged all tours, food and drop to kochi. You can ask him to arrange a complementary plantation tour.

Away from the crowd of munnar town.beautiful mountain views.very good hospitality by Shiva, always willing to help.
The road to the villa, doesn't allow cars to be used, Shiva provides jeep service to accommodate such needs.
Food provided is very homely and tasty, worth staying here away from city life amidst nature.

It was truly a home away from my home during my stay of 4 days here.we were taken care so well and the room was perfect for a family of 3. The fee is pocket friendly and a special mention to the tasty home made food which was an added advantage.would defenitely visit again

Some rooms were good.while some the architecture seems unplanned.as there was lack of cross ventilation n commod was too near tha basin n etc.otherwise the place was good

Very isolated area, far form people movement, No drinking water, no food, no restaurant near by, no proper way to reach and no body there in the night to answer you or to attend you, you should park your vehicle some ware far from hotel, you cannot come out in case of emergency, for old people and with children it's strictly not advisable. You may stay for sleep and refreshment.

A good place to stay if you're in munnar. A narrow down the walk to get in there. And it's really in the Middest of nature. A very nice place to stay

Munnar as in is beautiful. This place ki affordable and fairly well maintained. Finding the hotel can be a bit difficult as it's not on the main road but you can call the manager for guidance

Thank you Namaste Munnar for giving me such a bitter experience! I booked the room after seeing the photos posted and when I was close to the reality I realised the cheating beyond it. Me and and my family reached Munnar yesterday night and came to know that the hotel is not anywhere inside the town. Nobody from the authorities side told me that it is inside a trench. I parked the car close to the road and boarded in a jeep. After reaching there I realised that the facilities are totally different which are seen in the photos. The room was so small and untidy that a family can't even spend stay for even seconds. It was all against my expectation. I called the authorities and their way of talking was totally annoying. He strarted threatening me and finally I asked for the repayment. After a long debate with this guy he said he will pay back the money and we vacated the room.the byeroad was so steep that nobody from outside can walk. Theere were no streetlights as well. I asked them to drop me back but the authorities denyed it. Those moments were really fearful for me and my family. My second kid has got mild autism and it found really hard to take him up through that darkness. Nobody from the hotel side help us and I climbed the mountain with two kids and all the luggages we took. I am going to take this very seriously as these people have mentally and physically harrassed us. My request to each and every one who is reading this is to not get trapped in such fake information.

Good place to stay in, but you have to walk down for 200m as normal cars cannot climb in the steep. Place is really cool and can enjoy with your mates

It is located near pallivasal penstock pipe. They will provide jeep facilities to the accommodation. The morning view is amazing

Great stay at dormitory. Bathroom, toilet were attached and clean. No early check-in available. Didn't have food from there. Kitchen is not hygiene. I asked to boil water and give. They were boiling water without closing any lid. Flies might have also boiled. Luckily I only filled my bottle carefully. Staff were friendly. We wanted to go trekking. They told about the cost and if its worth honestly.

Overall recommended

Rooms and services are good, near to Munnar town, but approach road (approximate 200 Mtr from main road) is not good hard for cars to reach. Staffs are customer friendly and helpful.

View from hotel room is awesome. But lacks eating facilities. You need to use the vehicle for going out to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. No other eating facilities available nearby.
Everytime you have to go out they drop you to your car in the jeep they have, as the approach road to hotel is not conducive to cars.

Good budget hotel. Behaviour of staffs are very good especially those two guys who came with Jeep in midnight no words to say such a down to earth and friendly people. If you r looking a budget rate rooms highly recommend.

A budget decent place to stay. This place is quite, cozy and full of dense greenery. The dormitory was clean and the hospitality incharge was helpful. Also the location in the maps for this place is wrongly marked although they have put sign boards which points the exact direction. Overall a comfortable stay but do carry odomos for mosquitoes.

It was really a great stay in Munnar, be it with your friends or family. The scenic view we got there was beyond our expectations, most importantly the morning view. It's far from the main Munnar town, which makes it one of the great stay. In their garden, you will find so many spice plants like black pepper, turmeric etc. You will enjoy your stay here. Valley view room is excellent. Tranquil place. Pickup drop facility in jeep up n down the hill to the main road. Hot water available. Service and maintenance is poor. No choice of food. It's a remote location so they charge high price. For a ₹20 breakfast, I paid ₹240. Generator is faulty as the caretaker says, so I got 1hr power backup after requesting many times. No towel and soap given. Toilet flush not working. I ll not recommend for couple or family. Bachelor's can adjust.

Located at a very pretty place, with nearby view points. 6km from munnar bus stand. Tasty breakfast and dinner is available at an affordable price. Staff behavior is truly friendly. Daily cleaning of rooms and washrooms is also being done. Rooms are okay.
