New Mubarak

We had tried the Mubarak Meen kada in the Chalai market before. New Mubarak is not a let down. A great variety of fresh fish prepared in traditional style is served here. Absolutely delicious!

Crowded cluttered place. Food is average tasting. You will get fish dishes. And ya, narrow laned. So we have to park our vehicle in the main road and walk to it.

Worst packed food I have ever seen!
Ordered Meals+fish fry. What I received was a aluminium foil cover shoveled in with rice on top of which all the curries were piled up in smaller packs. So if the outer layer were to tear open in any way, the rice would have been spoiled. Forget the business side of this disaster. Its rice! Its food! How can someone be so callous in handling it. Ordered from there seeing all the 4-star ratings in Google. I tell you what, the remote dining experience has not been pleasant at all for me. Worst packing ever! Glad they do not serve rixe porridge. The only positive I can take out of this disastrous gastronomic experience is that I'm lucky it was not a cloth bag. The taste of the food is only average at a stretch. Go dine there if you like the food. Ordering via Food Delivery Apps is disastrous as far as my experience goes.

I ordered fish fry and fish curry via uber eats and it was disastrous because the fish was stale. My husband's mouth started itching soon after. The packaging was also average. So do order at your own risk. The only positive thing about the food was the taste of the curry.

Never heard of this restaurant before till my friend suggested this one. It is not in the road side but little inside in the southern side of state secretariat in Statue. Very good meals with variety of fish curry to choose from. Not that expensive also.

Homely service. They serve with lot of passion and then the food becomes much tastier. All the side dishes we tried were awesome. I will go again

Tasty traditional kerala food. Parking is an issue. Good fish fry available. But the con is one of the supplier. He enforces us to buy everything available there. Serves fish curry along with the meals, so that we think its the part of meals. But we should pay separate for the fish curry.
