It was a very beautiful place to visit a very memorable place and it was a very green place for visiting The services and the rooms were all good It was surely a good place to visit for our vacation

Nothing like wat we expected.charges are high v stayed many places in thekkady.but worst experience.no lock for the door, room too small, less storage places, fan noisy, no kids play area, power cut offendely v stayed at mountain view near by houses can only see.

V ordered chicken barbecue breast in the quantity 150 gms chicken 50gms sauce and 100 rice for this they r charging 700rs with tax.v get shocked next day v had food from outside

Other than worst experience it's not worth for money

I would post anything less than 1 star if I could. ITS A SCAM ALL REVIEWS ARE FAKE. THE HOTEL DOESN'T EXIT ATALL. ITS A BIG TIME FRAUD. We made a booking for 3days 2 nights from Saturday midnight to Monday checkout and we reached kerela, Thekaddy and to our shock as shown in map shows a narrow kaccha road not even safe for anyone to travel. The road for 2 klms for pathetic that every single minute we had our car get stuck and it's midst of jungle with nothing on either sides and being a female it felt like I will never make it back to city after entering that road midnight. Tried contacting the travel partner YATRA losses socks I'll get them to consumer court for such BIG TIME SCAM and make sure no one suffers in day light. I'll surely load the pictures so that no one suffers the SCAM.

Great rooms and the surrounding was majestic the food was good but a bit overpriced and very helpful staff

Very well maintained property like all the other Niraamaya properties. It's not a large property, and has only few rooms (12 or 13). Has a decent pool, restaurant, and good rooms with a lot of greenery all around, along with good views, that's about it. Almost no other scope for fun/ activity within the property. Very limited common space, this was a bit disappointing. You cannot spend time anywhere other than your room, pool or restaurant. The entire place is very peaceful. The entire property is on a hill/ slope. Though options seem a bit limited throughout all meals, food was genuine and good, not too costly either. This, I believe, they can achieve because of the limited menu. The rooms were well designed and well equipped. The road leading to the property is narrow for a little more than a kilometre, and gives the feeling that you are going to the interiors of the region. You cannot miss the birds singing, very sweet, loud and clear!

Resort is ok. But the problem that we face is a long distance travel from main road to reach there

Not a very good approach road leading to the premises but once you get there it is a well put together retreat which is tasteful and thoughtfully laid out amid the hills and tropical forests.
Exemplary and well trained staff focused on your hospitality makes this an incredible experience!

Close to Nature, this place will offer peace at fullest. Wakeup early morning to enjoy birds sounds.
Customer service starting from front desk to your room is five star.
Food preparation is also good, though options are limited, quality will not be compromised.
Overall its a must visit property.

Beautiful resort in the midst of nature well hidden from the hustle and bustle of town. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Food is very delicious with a heady mix of local flavours. Rooms are nice with a good balcony that offers a scenic view of the forest and also offers complete privacy from other rooms. The icing on the cake was a small parting desert made by chef at the time of our check out. Keep up the good service. Cheers!

The road to this resort is very bad if you have a driver with you then never take this resort because there is no driver facility and this hotel does not have driver facility and there are many resorts in Thekkady with all the facilities.

It's a nice property that gives you the feel of living in the middle of a jungle. Every morning you can hear birds singing for hours. It was literally like someone playing flute. I learnt it was jungle cuckoo. Often small little birds known as seven sisters will knock on your windows. Somehow felt these experiences surreal.
Rooms were okay. Can't complain. Shoes signs of age and surely need upkeep.
But the team ensured that we have a great stay with their impeccable service. Ashok, Jyotish, Bahadur were awesome. They always served with a smile. Every action was prompt.
The pool is nice and clean. We spent hours in the pool and had great fun.
Only one complaint will be the parking space. It's really cramped and gets difficult after 3-4 cars.
The mountain view rooms are built on wooden decks and are more premium and bigger. They are a bit warmer but have a nice balcony and felt good.
Food was awesome. We had Kerala meal on one of the nights and chef ensured that our experience was wowsone.

I highly recommend this place.

We had a great time at Niraamaya with family and friends. The property is very beautiful amidst the nature. The Staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling. Although each one of them was very very curtious but we would like to mention Ashok, Jyotish, Bahadur, Chandran, Indu and all the others. The food is also very delicious, a big thanks to the Chef, Sundar. We definitely recommend this place to everyone.

They did not pick up the phone when I tried to just reschedule by 2 days due to visa issue. Made the whole trip a pain. Otherwise good hotel, but they don't seem to care about customer service

A superb place in dense forest and cardamom plantations in Thekkady. Very polite and very well mannered staff. When I reached the resort I had pain in my leg. It was late at night but the staff arranged a masseuse who applied some herbal oil with some accupressure which helped me a lot. And top of that it was on the house. Wonderful gesture. A big recommendation. Please go and visit.

The place has two types of rooms:
a) Mountain view
b) Garden view

My family took one room of each type.
The mountain view rooms were well furnished and had an excellent balcony but contrary to the name of the room, I couldn't really see any mountains from my room.

As the name suggests the garden view room gives a view of the garden, the room was bigger than the mountain view and you also get two chairs and a table in front of your room to enjoy the view while having tea.

The resort has an infinity pool and the view from there is just astonishing.

The food was also delicious. I would recommend trying the okra vegetable there as it was really delicious.

It's over priced. Food was 5 times over priced. Need to call multiple times to reception to get somebody on phone.

I wasn’t able to stay at the place as we felt unsafe to stay with family
I would not recommend this place for any family during off season
However we did have very good experience at their other properties

This is okay if you're staying there without paying for any additional packages - check my review on Tripadvisor which is a lot more detailed and explains why it's average if you do pay for the packages.

The place is amazing. Especially the wooden chalets. Quality of the food is good. Hence the price. And the chef created some stellar menus for us. So totally enjoyed the grub.
The only thing that might not suit everyone is the fact the the hotel has very limited ground. So not much space to walk around or stroll. The hotel itself is perched on a higher ground, so getting out of the place to explore the surrounding places is a task.
But if you want to do nothing but chill, this place is for you.

The resort is understaffed, especially in the restaurant and room service. Very, very poor service.

It was an amazing experience, serene place, staff was very cooperative m good.we planned with kids the staff was so supportive.they made our stay memorable.
