Heard open air Ghazal concerts of s/s Hariharan and Anup Jalota (this one drenched in rain) Nishagandhi has been the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the prestigious International Film Festival of Kerala for years now as well as a film screening one also - special mention to mid-night screenings here.

Although it lost its charm of open amphitheater after getting the roof, Nishagandhi is one of the best in the city! Especially for programs with large crowd.

I visited there for a DJ party. It was okay. Probably this place is better for a live theatre show than DJ

It is one of the screens of international Film Festival of Kerala.
It has 300+ pax seating capacity, but doesn't have cushioned and permanent seats. Plastic chairs are supplied to suffice with the number of people gathered.
