Noorjehan Open Grill Restaurant

A good restaurant in palakkad town. A bit expensive and crowded during peak hours. Great ambience though.

I was very disappointed with the chicken biriyani at noorgahan restaurant. It was so bad that I couldn't eat it. The masala was too spicy and the ginger and garlic were overpowering. It ruined my appetite and my mood. I don't recommend this place to anyone who likes good biriyani.

Stopped by this restaurant after long trip. The place was neat and clean, server / manager was great at helping order the food. Their Arab food got over by the time we reached. Rest of food order was well made, the food portion is not crazy so make sure to check with server. Ambience is great and seems like there is lot of people choosing this the restaurant.parking area for large suv it little cramped to park.

Such a dirty place. Full of mosquitoes. Ordered Mac n cheese. And they served penne pasta. It was too hot inside. Not sure if AC worked. There were no fans too.

Earlier it used to be good. But from today's experience I am not going back. I ordered schezwan mixed noodles got ordinary chicken noodles which they called as schezwan chicken noodles. Before ordering chilly chicken (semi gravy) But it was not semi gravy. I don't even want to talk about fish fry. Elaneer Payasam was just like tender coconut flavoured shredded ice.

We tried Broasted chicken, tikka and butter chicken. Food is good especially broasted chicken. Atmosphere is very nice. But table service is not good. After bringing the food, the supplier did not pay enough attention.

The quality and taste of the food is very poor. We ordered chicken biriyani, broasted chicken strawberry Moijito and a porata but, the expectation of the food was unsatisfactory.

Don't go there.the food tastes okay.and same like a local shops food. Also the price is very High.they have only a good atmosphere in there.otherwise it's totally waste.and your pocket will become empty

Had Chapati and chilly chicken dry. Taste was so poor. Also the service was below average. The wash area and toilet were very close to kitchen. Which I didn't feel healthy.

Well the place has quite cleam environment with good music with taste. The Place has variety of chicken
But I found mono more delicious then the chicken the teast especially jhol mono. The place has good comstumer service.at least it's a nice place for dining or to relax

It was a great experience.they are very keen on customer satisfaction. I really appreciate that. I had some barbecue ordered, unfortunately it was burnt much. I informed them and they replaced the whole with a great pleasure. I was surprised with this quality.by the way the food is really awesome, (Arabian food in special). Great experience.recommend for all, for a dining experience.

I had meals today. Tastes too bad unfortunately.also price varies from nalantha hotel. 294 rs for two ppl where as in nalantha it was 220.

We had to wait 20 minutes just to take orders. Captains and RSMs were also ineffective. When it comes to running a restaurant, the flavour of the food isn't the sole consideration. We had to wait more than an hour for a short order, and we had to wait even longer for a refill. The service was not satisfactory. Please make sure you don't keep them waiting for too long.

One od the good Hotels in the District Capital Palakkad on the Kozhikode Bypass road. Superly furnished very spacious with good capacity. They do have established trade name Hotel Noojehan in the city. This is a new venture. They serve delicious food with good hospitality in Super atmosphere with affordable Price. Parking is available. Home delivery available.

The place is awesome. Food is also great. But abit costly. Service is good. Loved the ambience.

Very poor customer service, waited more than 1.5 hours and they served uncooked meat and the quantity was also very less.

Good ambience, The place is Relatively clean compared to the number of visitors per day. Didn't have much delay to get to the destination from palakkad town. All covid protocols followed.there was hand sanitization at the entrance of the shop and there is a wheel chair accessible entrance and ambient parking space

Had a worst experience today. Waiters were not attentive and after ordering almost take more than an hour to get food delivered.

Noorjeahan brand is well famous in Palakkad town, this is the 3rd restaurant of their brand in palakkad. Tasty foods are ensured and moderately expensive. Take too much waiting time is somewhat irritating. Restaurant is well furnished but feel little conjusted.

Never order parcel, received cold broken, tasting raw machine made chappathi. I ordered via swiggy.never expected from noorjahan.which I was tasting for decades

Always the first choice when going out in Palakkad. From starters to deserts they have excellent menu. There are only two problems I faced being there. One is the rush which causes the massive delay in them providing services at times. N secondly, the foul smell from wash area. Hope they rectify it soon post lockdown.

Today (09/07/21) we have visited Noorjehan's opengrill hotel and ordered for takeaway of 1 checken biriyani large @ Rs 155 and 1no Prawns biriyani @ Rs. 240. Unfortunately both biriyani's are the worst which I tasted in my life. Biriyani rice is par below in quality, which was overcooked and not in the form of eatable, no biriyani spices in it, we have to search with lence for pieces of chicken and prawn. Not at all tasty and a total waste of money. Years back it was our pride to visit Noorjahan for its famous biriyani now we can come out with total dejection. The chef in charge should be more responsible as it is the key role for the reputation of any restaurants.

I ordered in Zomato a mix schewan fried rice which shows its veg and veg green symbol is there when I got it I saw full of mutton in that.so it is fooling vegetarians. Be aware

We tried their buffet and it wasn't bad. Food dishes were tasty and price was quite on the higher range compared to the food.

The stadium bypass location is got fire accident and they moved to this location. Not visited the shifted place yet.
The restaurant is Palakkad's favorite dine out for ages and they keeps the quality and taste as far as best in town. Had to wait bit that's usual for a multi-cuisine restaurant. The menu and quantity are amazing. Starters and desserts were good. Washrooms and toilets were clean and tidy. The ambience, furnishings and lightings are very pleasant. Staffs were very good in manners and hospitality. Parking is ok for four wheelers here as it's situated in roadside. Highly recommended for friends, family and official dining outs.

Yesterday I ordered chicken kuzhi mandi from this hotel guess what they gave alfham mandhi instead and I thought it's ok mistakes happens and when started eat I couldn't one spoon of the kuzhi mandi, what the hell and even the myonise was horrible, really people don't oder or go to this f**king restaurant, sorry you can't call it that

Nice and Tasty Food, Good Service, Limited Parking, Digital Payment accepted, buffet available on top floor. Review: This is the best available restaurant in the whole Palakkad. The best managed restaurant by the Noorjahan group in the town. You can choose from a variety of items from their menu which include Fish, Chicken, Beef, Egg, Mutton, Lamb, etc. Lots of people from India North Eastern states seen working here and the service they provide is very good. You can't see such nice and happy people doing this service in Kerala.

Yesterday we ordered "Noorjahan chilly chicken" via a food delivery services, there were 2 boxes containing chicken. One of them was very good and fresh, but the 2nd one was not. It seems old and its been fried again. IT WAS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. WHY THEY ARE SELLING OLD FOOD?

Review of a Momo lover -
It has a great, dark themed ambience. The service is good, staff is polite.
We ordered a plate of steamed chicken momos and another plate of fried chicken momos.
Both were presented beautifully infront of us after a wait of almost 30 mins.
Momos were not bad but still not up to the mark especially at the price they are charging. (approx Rs. 40 per momo and 240 for a plate of 6). The chilli chutney best suited with momo is also not served there instead a hot garlic tomato sauce is given and mayonnaise is served but only on demand.
The quantity and taste of the momos were a bit dissatisfatory.
If you are looking for the best momos then this isnt the place but the air and ambience is quite good.

Pathetic service, food not upto the mark, quantity ND quality of the food is very very bad.no proper trained staffs. They spoiled my everything.

I ordered 5 chicken biriyani
as takeaway from Noorjahan Open grill Palakkad. Least to say the food was horrendous. I have never had such a pathetic food experience in recent times.

Food is really tasty and it gives you the flavour of Arabian foods and dishes. Would Highly recommend this place for good time family dinner and lunch

I used to visit their place at Stadium Bypass road every time I visit Palakkad. It's sad to hear about the Fire accident and they moved here. Coming to the food, I believe they still maintain the taste.

My favourite is their Suleimani

Note, this place is kinda temporary one I guess till their old place is renovated again. But they have done their best to bring the same vibes here.

Good services, Good food. Wide varieties of foods, neat and clean. Maintains a standard for foods

Ordered for take out food. Food was good and reasonably priced but took some time to get the parcel.

Savored the grilled fish RED SNAPPER (CHEMBALLI). Fruit juices not upto the mark. Very hospitable staff. There's huge scope for improvement.

Barbique and kebabs were awesome! One if the best barbiques i ever had.

Not so much with the Biryani though. May be it's because of the hype and expectation was set high.

The place was sealed by govt.officials for unhygienic food and was done away with in just one day.

Staff is inattentive and misses the order partially. Lot of wait time. Full points for the ambience and minimum points for hospitality especially at front desk wherein staff was very rude to other customers who were waiting for parcel orders.

Average food quality. Ambience is very good. Serving personnel is good. Improve food quality is d only way. Mouchitou drink is super.

Nice ambiance and the quality of the food is good. More verity if Seafood. Wide variety of starters. More of non veg lovers.

വളരെ മോശമായ പെരുമാറ്റമാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഈ ഹോട്ടലിലെ സെർവന്റ്സിൽ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടായത്. കോയമ്പത്തൂരിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള യാത്രയിൽ നോമ്പുതുറന്ന് തന്നെ നല്ല ഒരു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കണമെന്ന ഉദ്ദേശത്തിലാണ് ഇവിടെ കയറിയത്. പക്ഷേ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്ത 'നീണ്ട കാത്തിരിപിന്' ശേഷം ലഭിച്ച ഭക്ഷണത്തിൽ ചേർക്കേണ്ട ചേരുവകൾ നമ്മൾ ചോദിച്ചാൽ മാത്രം ക്ഷമയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കാൻ തയ്യാറുണ്ടേൽ ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥ. തന്തൂരി ചിക്കൻ ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തപ്പോ ചിക്കൻ മാത്രം വൈകി എത്തി പിന്നെ അതിനോടൊപ്പം വേണ്ട സോസും മയൊണെസും പറഞ്ഞപ്പോ മനസ്സില്ലാ മനസ്സോടെ സോസ് കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് തന്നു. അവസാനം രണ്ട് പൊറോട്ട ഓർഡർ ചെയ്ത്15 മിനിറ്റായിട്ടും ലഭിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പൊരുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. സർവിങ് ഒരു കാലയാണെന്ന ബോർഡിന് കീഴെ ഇരുന്നാൽ മാത്രം പോര അതിനോട് നാമെത്ര കൂറ് പുലർത്തുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ഇടക്കേലും ഒന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കണം.

DISGUSTING, all you can say. Me and my friends were a frequent visitor to this place. This time they crossed all limits. As you can see a "Housefly" in the drink and the "Alfaham" chicken was under cooked. The chicken was raw inside and when we raised this issue they just took it and recooked it and gave us which again was disgusting. No apologies or accountability at all.

I have visited the restaurant a couple of times.the first time the food was really cool.which prompted me to visit the place again.however the quality of food and service was subsequently found to be declining. I would rate 3 out of five now

Tried Buffet dinner. Rs 420/person including Tax. Varieties of dishes are available.mainly non veg items.

Good ambience and good customer service and they explain everything based on the likes and dislikes of customers. Had a really good time there.

Inefficient team!
We were charged double the bill of what we were entitled to pay, we were charged twice the quantity of what was ordered.
Service was poor, had to wait forever for appam to be served. When enquired they seemed to have missed the order! Had to remind the service team time and again on a simple request for water. All this during non peak hours, very few customers were present.
Food was decent.

A good option available in Palakkad. They can include some more variety dishes. Their customer service should be consistent irrespective of the crowd.

Truly multicuisine with an extensive menu, loved the soup-sea food chowder
Kanthari tawa fish fry is cooked well though could do with a lil more dressing
Mixed kebabs were so good.succulent, flavourful
Mango fish curry was lil disappointing

Got food after 2 hours. Got very cold food. Quality very poor. Very poor service. Staff very arrogant when asked about late delivery. Hope staff will realise that customers are very important. They are not serving food for free. Customers are paying for what food we order.

Quality is decreasing day by day. Got home delivery after 2 hour. Food was ice cold. Customer service worst. Don't know who picks up the phone, who ever it is he the most arrogant person doesn't know how to speak to a customer. Never ever going to order from here again.

As a regular costumer i have so much to say the staffs are really good at thier service as they manages the crowd easily there will be a suffocating rush on weakends and holidays just becais of thier food the food is so spcial that u wont be bothered about tje rush you will become a regular costumer too as i am
