This is an absolute gem when it comes to seafood in fort kochi– their jumbo butter garlic prawns are definitely one of the best choice. And the service here is top-notch too!
Hi all. I strongly recommend this place for sea food lovers. The food was so tasty and yummy. In my 13 yrs of life in Kerala, first time I was so happy and glad to get good sea food. I had a fish thali 390 rs worth it. Prawn curry with hot kerala parotta was so yumm, ayLa fry was so properly cooked n tasty. Neimeen curry with red boiled rice was so good. Then butter milk was awesome. Plus bonus is can take good pics at the location.
Beautiful restaurant located in beachside of Kochi. Cozy place for the sea food lovers. I enjoyed the Allepey fish curry. Kallappam and barotta was delicious. The Restaurant is located in a quiet place.
Small, relaxing, quiet and pleasant restaurant. I ate a very good mud crab in travancore sauce and very tasty starters. The size of the crab depends on availability and in any case does not go below a certain threshold to preserve the species, which is much appreciated. They don't serve beer.
This place is a gem. Found it on tripadvisor and was not sure about it but after tasting the food here.i could proudly say that the seafood here is the best in Kerela. Customer service was really great, Vivek was really awesome and explained the menu in detail which helped a lot. Must go place!
Great restaurant in Fort Kochi.had the Thali meals priced at INR 390, it was unbelievably tasty with generous portions of fish fry, curry, prawns, mussels fry and fish pollichathu. The service and ambiance was amazing.
Very Bad Service and behaviour of the staff was not at all good, No attention paid to customers waited more than 30min for food and served only two plates of rice for 8peoples after that we waited for more than 20min for food no attention was made from the staff side and then we all left.worst place to conduct any parties.
Very poor service. Not a suitable place for conducting a party. No attention was paid to the customers. Dosen't even fulfilled the customer needs. Will not refer to anyone.
Great place to relax and enjoy fusion sea food. Very colourful place. Great taste. Very accommodating staff. Reached late after lunch time still got what we wanted.
Personally too much fish for a thalli meal. Two tiny pieces of prawn.clams were good. Parotta was amazing & Kerala rice too. I feel like a little veggie curry’s can be added too for the price. Rs. 390/- seafood thalli.probably a little squid would do the job for me.
Me and my nephew walked in around 12: 10 and understandable that the meals wouldn’t be ready but I was a little disappointed when I got 5 fish and 2 little piece of prawn.
The payasam was okay not thick, not rich enough.
I wouldn’t recommend oceanos until they get the seafood menu right.
Veg food is not recommended. I ordered parotta and kadai paneer, the gravy is the same as fish gravy. Just paneer alone was added. Food comes very late, min wait time 30 minutes. The AC inside is very less.
So disappointed with this place. We wanted to treated ourselves with a nice seafood meal. We got the seafood platter for 2 and it was really bad Everything in the platter was cold and dry and the fish didn't taste fresh. Even the parottas and the rice were cold and dry.the crabs in the platter were so small that there was nothing to eat. The platter was expensive so we feel like we waste a lot of money to get such bad quality of food.
Trust me, it is costly yet, the best ambience you will get in Fort Kochi. Great and variety food is there to calm your tummy. You will find more foreign tourist there than in any other places.
This place is amazing. Ran by a small but efficient group of polite people. Food is amazing. Fish and other seafood items are amazing. But do not order veg dishes here. I am giving 4 stars just because of that.
Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take the order. Another 50 for the food to be served. Didn't bring the water or the drinks. Forgot something on the order placed.
Food was mediocre for the price, but their seafood was fresh, they have that going for them. Their squid and prawns were well made too.
Lovely little restaurant. Had fish cooked with coconut paste and grilled in banana leaf, lemon rice, aubergine curry, dal, bread. Chocolate cake with ice cream and cashew marzipan with chocolate sauce plus two soft drinks came to less than £18. Both service and food excellent.
Great food. You'll get local cruzine as well as Portuguese cruzine. The hotel has a lot of Foreigner visiting. Good place. Hotel has a small pond and a tree inside the hotel.
Nice place to have sea food. Could be a bit more authentic with the Kerala dishes. Cost is on the higher side. But overall a good place for lunch around Fort kochi
Went till the door step, but luckily we just discus the menu availability & quantity . "NOT WORTH FOR FOR MONEY" (actually they are focused on forienger's)
It's so welcoming. Clean and homely atmosphere. Decor is simple fresh and clean. Staff is warm and friendly. Best part is the open-to -peep kitchen. Sea food soup is so comforting. Appam and stew is perfect.
Lovely local food. Lemon rice with prawn and mango curry is a must. Desserts coconut and honey pancakes with vanilla ice-cream. Loved it came back for more next evening.
Tried a variety of items on the menu. I have to say . Other than the meat being fresh, the taste and overall service was garbage.
I don't understand how one can manage to screw up a simple kerala paratha.
King fish was good as well as the prawn. The good part? Well the meat itself. I would've said the same if the meat was cooked on a bbq with salt and pepper!
Staff members all grouped up in their special corner and did nothing to check of customers required any service. We had to literally raise our hands and stare at them for a good 5 mins until they were finally slothing their way to us.
Everything we asked for from extra rice was extra$$ but I mean 60 rupees for a small plate of rice? That's preposterous!
Overall 2kids and an adult and the bill was over 2000 rupees and well when we pay that much we expect excellent service.
I hope management trains staff appropriately or reduce pricing according to current service.
V visited this restaurant on the last day of our trip. Honestly tat was a bad call. If I'd gone yet even a day before. Assured I would have then eaten all my lunches and dinners ter. The food is just mind blowing. U can feel the flavour of every single ingredient Tata been put in it. The meat was cooked amazingly well too. The quantity is super sufficient and to top it all the price is very reasonable. The ambience is very homely.
The restaurant is attached to a hotel on Elephinstone road, Away from the busy shopping centers of Jew town and Princess Street; but it is worth the detour to enjoy the wide range on offer. They have a range of cusines for both the Indian and Western palate. Being very popular with the locals, you may find it difficult to get a table. Hence, get-in early! The access to the wash room may be fine for the locals, but for a visitor, the bonding with nature is not appreciated.
Amazing food, I ate a lot and ordered even more take away for the next day! Crab dish, prawn Kerala curry, appam and panna cotta with figs, yum yum.yum yum
A fish restaurant, also proposing meat and veg options. We have been to this restaurant several times already and absolutely loved the way they prepared their fish. Waiting time can be a bit long, but it's definitely worth it
Veg non veg kitchen together.so disappointed.but ginger lime soda (sweet) and fresh pineapple juice was awesome.only for ginger lime soda and pineapple juice I will give 10/10
