Food is really good. Been there twice and I've tried all the dishes. I must say that everything is lip-smacking. One suggestion for the owners- Do try to visit Vidhyarthi Bhavan hotel in Bangalore to learn how to manage the crowd. Having to fight to get a seat is really not a pleasant experience, neither is someone peering at you while you peacefully try to have your meal. Once the hotel management succeeds in managing the crowd, this hotel will be 5 star worthy.

I came here hearing about the meal but i didnt like ofcourse and only thing is that if you are seafood lover you go there. After Seeing this i personally prefer Indian Coffee House a Far Far better option for. Meals.

If you go to Kannur, it is a good place for food. It is busy whenever you go, but they maintain cleanliness and quality.

You will get kerala meals with selection of variety of seafood choices. The place gets crowded around 12.30pm for lunch.no AC facility. Went during the lunch time. Liked their sea food items. Worth the money. But I wnt recommend going with children because it's really crowded.

We travelled all the way from Calicut in Vandhe Bharath train only to taste the renowned sea food items. Nothing to say! It's amazing and very much tasty. Tasty food and very much affordable price for all.

Delicious oonu. Sambhar deserves praise. So do their Koonthal Roast, Chemmeen Masala and Kallummakaaya Roast. Place can be crowded. Reach early. Eat to your stomach's content and then make way for others. Parking your car can be a bit tricky in the narrow street.

Good. Neat &clean. Prize is much higher.specials starting 100<200. (mussels/Various other fishes.) freequent change in curries/days. All good.there are no special parking place.but u an park any where else.for enjoy their taste avoid busy hours.otherwise u can't. ¢ Raw mussels are very costly probably fancy prize by the vendor.mussels may cause food poison so preparation and cleanig process is higher.so afew hotel supply it to the public.so it may cause the prize. Don't think about the prize go for it and enjoy taste.

If you want a good kerala style meal this is the best place to be. The fish fries and prawn fry is fresh and very very tasty. This is the best place for fresh fish items. The place is very neat. Food is served in banana leaf. Biriyani or such items are not available. Only Rice is available but it's very good. The parking space is comparatively less. Try to be there before 12: 30. After that the place will be very crowded.

Wonderful fish meals I ever had with reasonable cost! I strongly recommend this place. കല്ലും മേകായ was really yummy. It's a normal hotel, so don't expect great ambience, but food is excellent!

Great food but the rush is taxing. It feels like you are in a traffic jam than a relaxing meal. Get a good noise cancelling earbuds to frown the noise. Then the food is great. They sure need to expand and add more seating capacity. Still the service is good. Its a matter of getting a seat. Then they serve a playter of fish fries for you to choose and the meal is also great.

Serving a standard meals with different verities of fish fries, Mathi, Manda, Kunthal (squid), Chemmeen (prawns) Ayala, Ayakoora and avoli.

I also impressed with their special egg omlet.

I have had here lunch in 2019. The food was was tasty and sumptuous. Various kinds of sea and river fish available. I liked the big size pomfret.

Must visit hotel in Kannur, especially if you are a fish lover. Only thing is the crowd. You should be patient enough to get seat and have ur lunch.

Superb And delicious meals ever i had.
And the Rush inside the hotel makes a little discomfort. And the lack of parking area also a demerit of this hotel. But everyone choose and patiently wait for the food here because of the taste of food. The Fish dishes are another level.

One of the best for sea food in kannur. Prawns my fav. All fish fries are just awesome. Even the curries with the meals are mouthwatering. Prices on the higher side. But definitely worth it.

Great place to lunch with yummy sea food delicacies. It is obviously crowded, need to be patient enough. Yet that's a joy to dine in here.

Very good customer care. Parking is a question. Again the fish fries and the rice water are awesome.

The only advice I wanna give is to consume less rice and try their sea food special side dishes. The meals is good except for the rice I felt really heavy. And let me say one thing that many of the restaurants serving meals and fish fries over-rated and overpriced once you eat the sea food special side dishes from here. The fish is so fresh and perfectly cooked without overpowering with masala. The freshness of the fish, correct cooking and the quantity of the fish served for such price is really reasonable.

The curries and pickle served are good. Lunch is served in banana leaves.

Please note there will be rush and waiting time for you to get a seat. Proper place for parking won't be there and hence find our own spot and park responsibly.

The best restaurant in Kannur for sea food.

The main attraction is the sea food items with lunch. You have to go there before 12 PM or after 230pm to avoid crowd. The sea food I liked the most is Ayakura fry, Koonthal fry, Mathi mutta fry etc. Price is also not high.

Best hotel in Kannur for traditional meals. Meals and fish fries are they famous in for. More than ten different types of fish fries are available and they are all very tasty and fresh. Loved the food and fish fry. Tables and wash area are clean in spite of the rushing crowd. They serve “rice water” along with meals which was another tasty and worthy addition. Only street parking available here. Food prices are slightly higher than other budget restaurants but can be adjusted with the great quality delicious food.

Although the hotel is crowded, they maintain a unique tastiness in food. Meals doesn't have much veriety of side dishes, however the ones that they're providing are lip smacking. And you would also get some fish items over there which worth a try

If we want a variety lunch with full of seafood items (chemmeen, koonthal, kallummakkayi and all type fishes) ondens is the top option to go for

Sometimes it is very busy or crowdy so you have to wait for the lunch because of less tables.

Most of all items are delicious, but the price is a bit high when we go in single (for eg: the chemmeen is priced of 110 so the total bill amount will be around 400 when we order 2 or 3 items.) so it is better to go in groups.

Fishe like mathi is get in small price (₹25/piece) so the people having small budget also can go for.

Tasty food if you have the patience, that is how you can define this place. Fish fry are yummy. Meals are pretty normal but the combination of seafood makes a huge difference. Parking is limited, so plan your trip accordingly. If you want to eat your food with out any waiting for the seat arrive early, may be by 11.30 or so. It gets really crowded by 12.30.
In summers you will sweat like hell by the time you had your food.

If you are hungry and need meals, then this is the best place. I reached around 12PM still people started to rush. Fish curry meals are ok. Meals without special is 45 rs. But you should try koonthal fry. I order Koonthal fry, chemmeen fry and Ayala fry. From that I prefer Koonthal fry is best choice. Well special items price is around 100rs. Ayala is around 65rs. Overall ok. I give rating 3/5.

Very yummy food. The best thing u can eat here is prawns fried. I mean I m here for 8 days and I had been here for atleast 6 times.

Always a fulfilling experience! I normally have fish curry meals with chiriya mathi or sardines fry. The ayikoora fry is akso a hig hit. Best time to visit between 12.15pm to 1pm. After that it gets unwieldy with hungry audience waiting for you to get up.

Having a wide variety of seafood fry’s, their taste is unique to the hotel. Once you eat here then you are hooked for life. The prices are also very reasonable but be prepared to wait for a table if you walk in between 1 and 3 pm. You will have to wait by the side of the table which you feel is going to get empty until the person eating feels embarrassed enough to leave and let you sit. You also get rice gruel water to drink which is very refreshing and nutritious too. I simply love this place!

Went to this hotel after hearing lots of great things about it from my friends and relatives. I was not particularly impressed. My wife and her sister felt the food is good but for me it was just average. There was a heavy rush when we reached at 2pm though we were warned before on this. Prices are very reasonable.

A good restaurant for an ideal Kerala lunch with a wide variety of fish items. Only problem with this restaurant is the absence of a parking place in that area and this forces people to squeeze in their vehicles at here and there along the roadside.

I hereby request hotel management that while preparing meal parcels, do not mix pickle and thoran in the rice. It is not a good practice, ; it affects meal taste.
