Oushadhi

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and bulge disc related sciatica pain for the past 8 years. I had already gone through years of treatment in USA with no improvement. In USA I was on biologic drugs, anti inflammatory drugs, prednisone steroids which caused weight gain yet did not improve my chronic pain. That is when I decided I need to try something else and looked into Ayurveda and decided to try Oushadi Thrissur under the care Dr. Joseph Ittara Superintendent of Oushadi Thrissur. This was the best decision of my life. Dr. Ittara was very professional in his mannerisms, truly a very kind and compassionate person whose hands have been blessed by God to give healing to those who are suffering. Oushadi is not like a resort, but gave me more of a very serene, clean hospital with round the clock nursing and doctor care phone call away. Oushadi has very clean rooms, housekeeping service everyday in the suit we stayed at. The hospital was at full capacity so if you decide to come here I would call and check availability. We picked the suit so I could stay with my family. But they have single, double rooms with or without AC. Food was vegetarian yet so tasty and freshly made. I am very happy with their care and best of all I was able to learn about my body and my disease which reacts to certain foods and causes inflammation. I am feeling better and experiencing no pain after 8 years of chronic pain. Swelling and inflammation came down tremendously. Traction procedure by Dr Ittara took away the sciatica pain.
I want to extend my thanks to the therapy staff Nimisha, Athira, Chandini, Nikita and Anjana. These girls were like angels who were with me throughout the 12 days. I can truly say they are most dedicated staff I have ever seen and the reason I am without pain today.
Also want to extend huge thanks to the team of doctors and nursing staff who watched me closely and walked with through the good and the not so good days at Oushadi. Thank you Dr. Sriram, Dr Prithibha, Dr. Roshini, Dr. Anju, Sis Jaya, Sis Misha and Sis Asha. Your sacrifice in this profession will save many lives. May God continue to use you to heal others. May your hand continue to bless the hurting.
