Cutest property in Kovalam. Views are breathtaking with proper hygiene. Food was awesome Breakfast Lunch Dinner highly recommended. Only problem is that it's situated in a very isolated place rest everything is superb

Great considerate and friendly staff, decent rooms, beautiful view would be really nice and quiet get away but unfortunately there was construction going on when we visited so check before you visit.

Scenic, well maintained, and serene. It's bigger than expected. For the buffet, based on what we spent, more items could be offered. Service is excellent. The pool was clean.

Rooms were great, service too, Food they say its home food, I stayed for 1 night and the dinner and breakfast had extra salt.cooking is not easy so I understand

Recently visited this hotel through Make my trip. Room provided was very much dirty. After argument they agree to change the room. Hot water taps are useless. You need to wait while bathing as they excuse that it will take time. Hotel staff is very rude. They don't bother your problems. Breakfast is only good. Don't plan lunch. Dinner. They have good surrounded nature however it is useless as you will be roaming for siteseeing & will not be there for much time. They claim as 4star but you will not get service of even like 2 star.

I m cab driver. The hotel restaurant I ordered coffee I know there fare. Money is not problem for me for eating. Hotel staff behave me come to back side then they give tea. Value for not all humans. But one thing yours hotel guest safely come with drivers only. Give some value for that professional also.

Great place for spending time with family and friends. Food was good so was the pool too. We stayed for a night had the pool villa booked too which was a different experience. We booked on a long weekend so the price were a bit high but on normal days the price of rooms are justified. Biriyani that they served were super tasty

Nice place but facilities were limited. The shortcomings get covered up by staff’s courteousness and service. Food variety should be more in the menu as well as breakfast. Overall a comfortable and peaceful stay

All is well place and romantic cleaners but my driver not sleeping that driver sleep to only vehicle improve the driver room

My husband and I got married here:) small intimate wedding of 9 guests (although the resort caters to much larger crowds as well - just have to inform them in advance). It is a lovely, scenic place, with top notch rooms, delicious fresh food and spectacular service. The pool rooms are the absolute best. The resort also has a tie up with a brilliant event coordinator named Trilok who is definitely worth a special mention for his services. It was a magical two days and it’s in huge part thanks to the kind, understanding and accommodating staff at Over The Hill. I couldn’t have asked for a more dreamy location or accommodation for our big day:) thank you so much!

Very cozy and traditional styled cottages with good ambience. The infinity pool is well maintained but comparatively small. Stayed here a couple of times, the only problem is the wait period between order and serving of food.

Excellent place for a peaceful stay. Great ambience with good hospitality. Food is top notch. Though they priced bit extra for early checkin it was okay as they provided us the room directly without any delay as we travelled too far. Will definitely recommend

The private pool room was good and clean too.the infinity pool was not well maintained but the view was beautiful.the food was okay.but personally i think the rooms are overpriced.

Excellent and very responsive staff. Very good rooms with good view. Very calm and beautiful place.the swimming pool is also very well maintained. The staff went out of the way to ensure we don't go empty stomach at 5: 45 am. Served good home cooked and hot food.such good service.definately will recommed and book again.

I would never think about a better place than this for a family stay.

I fell in love with this place the moment I stepped in. The staff are so cordial n nver said no to any of my crazy requests. Best part was the sound of the waves hitting the shore at night. If you r planning to visit try booking cottage 108. N most try the mutton curry.

Our family was totally bowled over by this amazing resort in poovar. Beautifully landscaped with good food and rooms, swimming pool, games. Ideal place to relax. They arrange boating at very good rates.

Very good tourist place cum hotel, Its situated in a very extraordinary place on the Hill. Its really romantic place too.

Wonderful place to visit to take a break in your busy machine life. Service was good though they didn't offer mineral water even after request ing (Just one complimentary bottle). Receptionist/Manager was very friendly and gave good rates. Request everyone to please check out with the Hotel directly before booking it online. The infrastructure is amazing and they do have a wonderfool pool. Rooms are spacious, neat and tidy.

We 5 friends stayed at over the hill resort between October 3 to 5 2019
they have given us two rooms for 5 people in which one of the room ac is not working
we had compliant to Manager on the first day night he told us to adjust in some other room which looked like servant room we had adjusted for one day
on the next day ac repair people had came and done work in our room for day full
my luggage fully got Durst
even on the second day night the ac was not ready they again told me to adjust in that servant room after too much fight
and make my trip help us to get us an upgraded room
we had paid for breakfast in mmt itself but they had again charged us for breakfast 2500 rs
too worst Service
they have all old items in rooms
old beds which is not comfortable
ac which is not working
rooms which is not cleaned properly
totally my holiday trip with my friends have been ruined by over the hill resort members
damage to my wallet 25000 thousand which is totally worst experience and too costly for their old things in that property
please avoid there resort

This resort added beauty to the serenity around. The hospitality was commendable. The staff around and the customer experience was a delight. Certain places and people become a part of ones happy repository. This exp was one indeed. The manager Subodh overwhelmed us with the genuine service and polite behaviour. M gonna visit again wd my frnz and family.highly recommeneded

A very good place for a weekend getaway, with friends or family. Serves good tasty food. Not too many rooms so it can't get really crowded.

The property is tucked away from the main crowded spots. Not only has it been maintained well, it also is done aesthetically. The rooms are spacious also very cosy and homely. The food is simply superb. They have a swimming pool which is almost like an infinity pool looking out to beautiful scenery.

One of the best resorts i have ever seen, wonderful infrastructure. Best ever construction. Rooms are sooo neat and clean. Complimentary breakfast. Awesome food.better place For photoshoot! A boutique designer resort on a tropical garden overlooking poovar estuary. Quiet place, good food, great rooms, excellent service. Beautiful place to relax and unwind. Strongly recommend.

Rooms are old fashioned and groundfloor rooms have slighly open bathrooms which certain might feel uncomfortable of.

A very well placed resort for an excellent hide out from the heat. The nice and tidy pool area was something that we loved a lot once inside the resort. Rooms were large and spacious with an extra comfy bed and a wide balcony facing the sea.
We also took a boat ride (arranged via Hotel) from the Poovar boat club, which was an awesome experience (Backwaters, mangrove forest, golden sand beach, sunset). Thanks to our boat driver who was a good guide, experienced helmsman & a nice person. A not to be missed experience, so we recommend to all.
Food from the resort was also very good, thanks to their chef. Well behaved and polite staff, every one of them.
Had good coverage for our cellular networks so didn't require a Wifi (which was mostly available in the hotel lobby).

We were there for a wedding, and it was a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful with everything, the food was great and the pool was quite nice:)
One star down for a bit older looking bathroom and noisy A/C, nothing major.
I can definitely recommend this place!
