Kozhicode railway staction near low price hotel. But room very very bad smell. Also not clean a room. My best recommendation you don't go this hotel.

Old beds, No proper windows and curtains, bad smell in rooms, and toilets. No room boys facilities. Durty room. Simply worst experience.very highly mistaken to took the room.

1. Very basic rooms and broken bathrooms
2. Choose this stay only if there is no other options.
3. Only useful for a 1 day stay as this residency don't provide daily room cleaning or any complimentary services

Not customer friendly staff.
Price is really on the higher side with respect to the rooms.

The only good thing about this property is its vicinity to the Kozhikode (Calicut) railway station.
Rooms are untidy, dusty, linen are soiled and lot of mosquitoes.
No option of dining.

Ver bad hotel in Kozhikode. Bad service, dirty rooms, no mosquito nets on the toilet ventilator. There were lot of mosquitos inside the room and was unable to close the toilet door, there were no locks. I booked room for 4 persons on goibibo and they accepted booking, but there no no rooms to accomodate four persons. So dont ever book rooms in this hotel

Worst ever place I have stayed.room full of mosquitoes, and bed bugs. Couldn't sleep even for an hour overnight. I booked for 2 days, left after 1 day and they didn't gave any refund.they will charge more money than that shown on the internet

We reached Kozhikode at 4 pm in the evening. The only reason we booked a room as we had our train at 3pm midnight and this was in the vincity so choose this. Our stay was just for a few hours so we chose a Non AC room. Worst accommodation in my whole life. Fans were working properly and felt like being inside the oven. When opened the windows for ventilation too much of mosquitoes flew in. But no other go had to spend the night till 2 pm there. Plus the stench of the dried fishes in the railway station made it worse. Was just counting each and every minute during the stay.
We learnt our lesson that day. Never to settle for anything less.

Can't even give a one star for the stay here. Worst experience ever. The room was below average and has complaints of bedbug and mosquitoes. And while we complained and tried to vacate room the owner gave us no refund as well as his attitude was really bad. No one should stay here. The ratings for this hotel in various platforms are fake. Don't trust it and hope everyone will avoid staying at this hotel

Except the location which is close to the Kozhikode Railway station, nothing is good at this property.
Shabby rooms, dirty linen (filled with hairs of past usage), dirty and burnt curtains, no latch in washroom door, too many mosquito.
The service was average as the personnel there Asjan and Dennis acknowledged the shortcomings and tried to ammend.
But they could do little.

Very bad experience at this hotel. No room service, lift was not working. Room were very dirty, bed sheets have spots TV was not working. I was not expecting from OYO to show this type of hotels in their website. Due to my meeting I was not go to search for another hotel but I check out before one day leaving my all advance of 1 day. Frquently young couple visit this hotel and you can't expect that there is waiting period for these couple. I see atleast 25 couples in during 4 to 6 times crossing the check in counter. Not suitable for family.

Pathetic. Even after confirmation of room, after reaching the hotel by morning 6 am, they have told that no rooms are available. Without informing they have cancelled our booking.

Booked through OYO, and when I reached the property, the staff told, they won't accept OYO booking, and denied check in with OYO.

Staffs are good friendly but the given price, the room condition was pathetic. TV present but not working. Bathroom door did not close. Very little ventilation.

In Oyo app it was booked for 590rs, at the time of arrival they charged rs 1150.
The rooms where dirty but they cleaned them for us. But still.

They didn't follow Oyo procedure. They won't give room if you book Oyo. They will ask extra money. Don't go this hotel via oyo

Such a worst experience we had.don't ever book this hotel.we booked room in this residency in oyo and they denied our admission.they were asking for extra money.we travelled from long distance to kozhikkod and still they behaved so badly.they could have informed us prior if they couldn't give us room in such rates.they had our our names reserved in their list.they could have called us and told if they wanted more money.we could have booked another hotel.

Worst place. They are charging additional amount than Oyo. The behaviour of the staffs are very bad. The room was not good. The didn't gave even a bedsheet. Very bad place to stay.

Only one good thing: The hotel staff were friendly, polite and very helpful with the luggage.

Lot of bad things:
Do not book this hotel via Oyo. They have some problem with Oyo not paying them and therefore they ask customers to pay more than what was shown in the Oyo app.

Since we wanted to use the room only for a few hours (and not overnight) they accepted and gave us only a non a/c room.

Lift was not working when we checked-in but was repaired by the time we checked out after a few hours.

From the second floor, there was no way to contact them (except climbing up and down) to ask them for anything - be it hot water to drink or cleaning up issues etc.

Will not recommend via Oyo.

No hygiene
It seemed nothing had been cleaned or washed after the inauguration of the hotel
All the taps were leaking
When it rained heavily, electricity supply was off. Water entered the room through the crevices
The railings on the stairs had worn out and collapsed when it rained
No food was provided, had order by ourself and had to pay extra for the food
No service for such an exorbitant price

Pathetic cleanliness, very poor service, the receptionist stayed at night was not very friendly and very poor customer service.when I booked the room through Oyo, they told its a big spacious room with pantry, dining etc.but the room which they gave us was like a den, very small and tidy, not so clean, and very bad hygiene.even they forced us to cancel the room booked through oyo and gave us room directly thereby offering discount of 100 Rs and because of bad hygiene, I left the room without even spending a night

Maintenance was very poor. Had to change 2 rooms after check-in. Third room also was poor, and had enough of shifting, so didn't shift.

Nice Location. Near to Railway Station, Walkable Distance only. Value for money to stay a single night.

Not good for couples.unmarried couples are not allowed but in oyo app they allowded unmarried couples.hotels staff not interested to allow unmarried couples

A decent average Accomodation for Business travellers as well as family.

Pros: Very near to Railway Station, Playam bus stand, Shopping streets, Mittai theruvu etc.

Cons: Mosquito, Minimal Complementary Breakfast option, Tea was bad.

Pros-Cheap, walkable from railway station, and located very near to SM Street so go for it if you are travelling solo, or on a budget trip.
Cons-Now that you've spent so less for the hotel don't expect any special amenities there.

I stayed here for 2 days. The rooms were so conjusted with no ventilation.the cleanliness is ok. But they won't provide basic items which is available in other hotels at same rate. The character of staff was good. Is recommended for travelers who prefer below 12 hours stay.

I visited select residency on 23rd February 2019. I choose a/c room.

The lock of room complaint. I complaint about this issue to reception and they just fix it for temporarily, after some time the lock issue will there.actual problem is the anyone can open door after lock room.me and my friend not bothered about this issue because we don't have valuable things.

I choose average review only for better room and easy to access railway station, beach, good restaurants, etc.please fix this issue permanently asap.

Stay was totally a tragedy. Breakfast included in booking (proof attached) but the arrogant front office staff refused it. Lady front staff n cleaning staffs are good dealing. No parking area even500m is narro high traffic road, No good restaurants near too. Room was old n AC was dummy effect. Night treat mosquitos. Think twice before book.

Wasn't much great here, even the staff look not interested much in working here, the extra bed was literally tore and most switchs weren't even working had to use tv plug to charge my phone, had to buy water had to go down all the time no proper service at all, worst hotel I have ever stayed

They told us that they cancel there contract with OYO. So they are not willing to allow room to us we already booked.

Took a single room for 1000. Room did nt have locking, useless bathroom, uncleaned bedsheets.plugs not working.such a bad experience.hate it.

Overall good accomodation. By all discount I got AC room for 291rs and I was in dought about the quality of room. But believe, it is very nice and felt very much comfort. Behaviour of staff also very good.

It is very near to Railway station and next to the SM street. Walkable distance from beach as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Average budget rooms. Less expensive if you compared to other hotels in same town. I stayed over one day. Rooms are clean and neat. Property is close to Calicut railway station. Only less than 500 meter walkable distance from railway station. There will be train and bus sound as it is close to railway line and main road. But it's ok if you close windows. Car parking facility available but only 3 or 4 car can park at a time. Need to inform prior to arrive if you need parking space. I can give score 8 out of 10

It's really bad, they have even disconnected the phone, and unprofessional staff, just the quality of a below average lodge.

Worst ever experience. Lately I trusted OYO to provide good hotel room. But from this experience I will double check with other apps too regarding room quality.
No toiletries, no room service, no proper drinking water provision. I expected more when it comes to OYO

Budget rooms at affordable rates. Neat room and friendly staffs. Easy accessibility with railway station and bus stop.

The breakfast is ok. In fact good. But rest all are pathetic (the cleanliness, room maintenance, the towels are so dirty.)
