OYO 16711 Malabar Plaza Inn Hotel Kochi

Poor hygiene. Floor not wiped properly.
Bedsheets and towel looked used. AC cannot be controlled. Half of the lights not working. No hot water. AC started leaking at midnight. Could hear rats playing above ceiling. Leak marks all over the wall corners. Sofa cushion felt like that of old bus. Unpleasant feel. Photos shown are deceptive, taken when the hotel was in good shape.

We booked online with full advance and no refund. Hotel says they are full and did not accommodate us. Shady place, beware! Such places bring shame to the entire city and doesn’t give a warm reception to new comers like me!

Worst hotel. Rude staff. Bed full of hair. Uncleaned bathrooms. Unsafe for couples. Given expired oyo soaps and shampoos. Never recommend to anyone.

Ac is not working TV is not working no hot water, their resturent charging high amount for food (one masala dosa Rs. 80) and they not allow couples. Bad experience. Guys please not book this hotel

This resturent is very very awesome. I have been there many times to eat. The food is very good and the staff is very good behavior. Must try everyone. Alfham is very tasty

One of worst Oyo room I have visited till now, services are not provided as shown in the Oyo app, dirty rooms will be given, with and old and Dirty bath towel and dirty bed covers, you have open and close shutters if you come late night and there will be no one around in the lobby to provide proper service, overall worst room and services I have seen yet

No greetings at the reception. We had to carry the luggage ourselves to the room. The room smelled of cigarettes for the whole night and when we opened up the windows the smoke from the kitchen entered the room as it was right below our room (we were on 3rd floor). DTH box wasn't working, upon enquiry the staff said because it's Sunday they won't be able to get it fixed. When asked about the missing TV remote, the staffs replied with giggles. TV plug board was also loosely connected. The linen was dirty and torn at places. On the day we checked in, the bathroom tap flushed out very dirty water. Health faucet stopped working for a day and got fixed automatically on the next day. On the day we checked out, the bathroom light stopped working. No towels were provided. The manager at the restaurant had a habit of bad mouthing the customers behind their backs.

A below average hotel. Bed were not clean and full of dirt and hair. I put bath towel on the pillow and slept because I was too tired. Breakfast served in a local restaurant situated ground floor. Please show your token before eating the free breakfast otherwise you will end up fighting with the rude and unprofessional old guy who is sitting in the cash counter. I'll never recommend this hotel for my friends.

A nice and cozy room perfect for all people. I got a really good AC room at a cheap rate of Rs. 850 by booking using oyo. Had a great night thk you.

Worst hotel I've ever seen. I've booked a room through Oyo and they refused to give me room. They were shouting at other guests like "you should bring bedsheets from your home. We don't provide bedsheets here". Rude staffs

Good atmosphere for couples but some rooms are very small and bad atmosphere.some rooms are great like place very good for unmarried loving couples

It's an economic place, but they need some serious change in updating the linens. Rooms are good, nice accessibility very near to north railway station and Lissie metro station.

Hotel staffs has criminal behavior. I booked through online and paid full amount before check-in. When the time of checkout hotel staff ask money again. Very dangerous hotel staff. Never ever recommend.

The linen and the bed were not clean and was having a foul odor. The person at reception was very rude.

Located in an ideal place on easy access to different points inside the city. Not much expensive, medium quality food, good hospitality

Over all atmosphere was satisfying

Located in the adjacent road to North Railway Station. Lissie Metro station is at a walkable distance. Place is a bit run down. Staff are cooperative, and if you politely insist, they will allot a better room amongst those available. Okay for a short stay for a day or two.

Have booked A/c single bedrooms and they are not spacious enough comparing to other hotels nearby.
Toilets are very large.
Hygiene and well maintained rooms

Stopped on a Wednesday afternoon, not so crowded and I got a table right away. Service was not attentive. When I came back to my table after washing my hands, My table was full with luggage’s.without my premise the so call ILL-MANNERED waiter shifted my belongings to another table. And when I asked him, he told me to sit in a corner table so that he can makes the others dine where I sat before. Definitely not suggesting to anybody.

PLEASE NOTE: am not talking about the HOTEL, only speaking about the restaurant.

It's a budget hotel in elm. The management has many hotels around the city. Facilities are good

Really bad customer service.the TV wasn't working and we reported it, but no-one came and cleared it. We were three person and we asked for an extra matress for sleeping. They said it's on the way, but we didn't recieve any extra matress and we felt so bad about their response. There was no hot water in the hot water Pipe.but already we knew there is no use in reporting the issue.

There was some group of people making sound from outside of our room and they were sound enough to wake us up from sleep and we weren't able to complete our sleep due this issue. The authorities were silent about this problem.

It was good and affordable hotels for medium and moderate people and breakfast was also good.
