How can i get their number, i haven't been there. The number shown in the site is dealing with oyo and they only know about room booking. I want to conduct a event there, Oyo guys don't deal with the event.
Never book this hotel! Booked through oyo and made payment online. My parents reached there at late night, but they were denied access. And the staff behaved very badly to them. Utter disappointment!
Centrally located at Chavakkad town. Just opposite of Private Bus Stand. Beach is only 2KM away. Food is tasty and comparatively cheap in price. Rooms and corridors are spacious. Bar also be there. Ideal for conducting marriage reception function especially at lawn.
The Hotel is adjacent to a local bar. It's disgusting and the moment we entered the premises we felt it's unsuitable for a family stay. We were there with our family for a two day from 4th October to 6th October since we had two day visit at Guruvayur Temple. The access to the hotel is very cramped and there are vehichles parked on both sides of entrance since there are shops leading upto the hotel gate making it more difficult. Would never recommend this hotel for families. We went there by making booking through Agoda and paid the full amount upfront to avoid any hassle during checkin or chechout. But when we reached at the hotel in the evening they declined us the room stating that they had an issue with Oyo and they aren't accepting any online bookings. As mentioned earlier we were there with our family which included our 4 month old baby and my 73year old father. This was totally unexpected and absurd. We had stayed in many parts of the world but this was first. The reception guy in the evening on that day was very adamant and wasn't even ready to listen to us.
Desperately we contacted Agoda and unlike Oyo or this hotel they were professional helped us in minutes by canceling this booking and offering us another accommodation or a full refund with gift voucher. Ultimately we felt lucky to have not stayed in such a hotel where you might have come across drunkards while going and coming back to the hotel especially if you plan to visit guruvayur temple.
Food services were nice and staff were good mannered. All food items we ordered were tasty and fresh. But the cleaning staff ofyen fail to clean the dining tables immediately after one set of customers finished dining. They might be waiting for another set of guests. This will create hatred in the minds of guests. I think it happens under the influence of bar culture. This is not advisable. Hope that it will be rectified in future.
Not recommended. I booked for two rooms via OYO and got the confirmation messages for both the rooms. On reaching the hotel, the front desk manager told me only one of the bookings has come through to their system. I had to pay in addition to the original price to secure a room as it was late night. Plus the ACs in the suite room were not working, and no one responded to front desk calls.
The most cheap & best hotel to stay in Guruvayur. You can never find a much cleaner hotel that this around the region. It's about 3kms away from Guruvayur temple but still the most worthiest stay with clean rooms and high branded bathroom interiors. So basically modernised rooms and we had a very pleasant stay over there.
I had booked two rooms at this particular hotel on 12th July 2019. One was for a suite room and the other was for a deluxe room (3X) and the payment was done in advance. The Suite room was pre booked 2 weeks before whereas the other one was booked 1 hour before check-in. Upon reaching the hotel at 10PM one Mr. Ramesh welcomed us and asked us to pay an additional amount in order to check-in. When asked for the reason the guy was like the amount that we paid for the Suite room is very less and that they cant provide the room at cost mentioned in the OYO app. He even asked us to contact the OYO customer support to get it sorted. The OYO customer service was very pathetic but even then they managed to get the refund for both the rooms booked by 11: 30PM. The staff Mr. Ramesh was very rude and also when we started an argument they showed us the mail that the hotel management had sent to OYO team. He even gave us the contact number of Mr. Baiju Jose (OYO Captain) and when contacted it seems the number does not exist (Think Mr. Ramesh deliberately gave the wrong number). Both the OYO and Samudhra Theeram management is responsible for the inconvenience caused to us. OYO and the Hotel didn't inform us about this additional payment until we reached the destination. These people have a feeling that if the customers reach the hotel they will directly pay the amount and check-in without further questions.
So anyone booking rooms in this particular hotel please check with the Hotel or the OYO before you start your trip. We had to cancel the whole trip and go back home at midnight!
OYO- Try not to keep partnership with this hotel and improve your customer support! Samudhra Theeram- Try to hire some staffs who can handle the situation in a matured manner!
