The hotel rooms are very spacious and clean. There are two queen size beds so 3-4 people can sleep very freely. There is hot water facility available as there is geyser. Some rooms have a hill view
Taaza residency is cheap and worth staying if you are a bachelor.
We had some bad experience there. We booked 2 rooms for one day. The room and toilets were clean and good. One of the room doesn’t have a bulb and the TV was not working. We informed the receptionist and he came, he said that’s all they can provide, you should have to bear with that. Some kind of arrogance in his tune. Morning 6 am onwards there was no power in the room until we checkout by 10 am.
Nearby restaurant is decent and tasty. We had mandhi biriyani. It was delicious.
Pro: 1.cheap ONLY cheap 2.nearby restaurant is a good one.
Con 1. Arrogant receptionist, Mr althaf. Rest of them at least have some customer friendly 2.there was no power for 4 hours 3.some of the amenities they assured are not able to serve.
We stayed for 4 days at the Taaza Holiday and Hills Resort. They have a very peculiar setup. These are just studio and 1 BHK flats. They have collaborated with the Taaza Hotel and restaurant which is on the main road to serve food and for house keeping too. We faced a lot of problems with ordering food. We would have to call the restaurant to order the food which was delivered to us with no plates, bowls or even spoons. We had to call the restaurant again and again to get the cutlery. At one point of time we even struggled with drinking water which was not provided at all. Same goes for fresh towels, we used the same towel for 3 days. Also the so called breakfast buffet that they offer are just two dishes at most which you can order and nothing else. Overall the rooms and location is good but the level of hospitality that they offer spoils everything. Fortunately, there was this one care taker who tried his best to help us with many problems but otherwise this place needs a serious upgrade.
