OYO 8420 Elite Inn Hotel Trivandrum

It’s completely a bad experience to me.especially the room with dirty linens and beds are made but with used bedsheet. I booked this by an oyyo app and they cheated me with the money that i paid. I had a terrible experience on previous day of my main exam and I need to pay more money to the receiption to book the room.after a hectic full day of journey in a bus, I came to stay there on that day for the next day’s exam and this all happened.as a common person in the society that terrible experience made me to write this review after 2years.it should not repeat for any one in their life.

The hotel is fine for the price you pay for one room per night. The washrooms were clean and the AC was functional. But there was problem of ants and mosquitoes in the room which was not good. They didn't even provide mosquito repellant when asked for it.

Poor service, they had renovations going on in the upper floor, had to switch rooms thrice.
Was promised a service, denied later in the morning.
Most cupboards have broken doors, all in all definitely wouldn't consider visiting ever again.
Even wifi was dead (never reached out to them considering the poor response most other times).

The room was very small and was not clean. Cabinets were broken. AC wasn't functioning properly. The kettle kept in the room was dirty. The towels weren't clean. There was no mirror in the room, just a small one in the bathroom. Bathroom was average, didn't have hot water. I wouldn't recommend it to for ladies. In fact I checked out without staying since I didn't find it comfortable, after seeing the room.

Terrible service! They didn't honor the booking amount. Staff is arrogant and rude. Front desk staff told me that I could either pay the money they demand or go somewhere else. I called OYO and raised the issue, but the first I heard the technician asking the front desk was wether I'm Indian or not with a sarcastic note. I walked out of the place and booked a room at another place. Worst OYO experience ever. Shame on you!

Worst experience. I had booked a room in advance through OYO. When I reached the hotel they told me that they will only accept the booking if I pay a higher amount. I tried to call OYO to the raise the complaint, but it was fruitless. The front desk staff was very rude. At the time I was there, I even saw a lady complaining to change the room as it was dirty.

Nothing is clean inside the room. And we got insects bites and admitted in hospital. Got electric shock from the Room 206. Towel bed sheets, urine smell at room when we go to check in. And they demand extra money and the staff was rude. Never ever go through just in front of the hotel. No parking facility, we have to park our vehicle before 100 meters and walk to the property via rush and narrow NH. So never try this hotel if you stay with family nd children if you really care about your family. 8ts very dangerous to book these hotel during in your stay

Room is ok but the AC not working full night room hot not available to sleep and
Than breakfast timeing till 10: 00 but this forgot to give the breakfast after that I am call to recipients this people are breakfast served in room 10: 40 but cold idly.

Do not believe the rates for this hotel on the first place. I was denied stay as the rates I booked through OYO and the arrogant staff at the reception told me that I can proceed with my “confirmed” room booking only if o give an additional 400 rupees. The staff was so arrogant that he asked me to call OYO customer care and ask for another option to stay. I would not choose this hotel anytime in my life, even if it is free. It was a BAD first time experience!

Small congested rooms, what u get is nowhere near what they show. Crappy bed it's so hard u d think u r on the floor. Too much wooden cupboards it seems like they planned the rooms for our stuff and not us. It's the only place I have seen where they put the AC stabilizer also in the washroom. And at night if u need t take a leak be careful (very) cos the AC s water is being shoved into the the washroom mostly at the washrooms floor just at the entrance. This place is a big no. The staff are very pleasant. Pls see the rooms before paying it's a request.
Food is ok, especially if u r constipated cos u wont need a laxative

First off, the parking was way off the property and we had to drag our heavy trolley along the busy NH road to get there.
The complimentary breakfast as promised would not be there, since the restaurant had closed, apparently due to a food safety regulation.
There was no electricity backup and the lift wasn't operational. We had to walk up two floors.
The AC in the room wasn't operational as well.
Checked out within 15 mins of checking in.

Good place, ambience is very nice. Rooms are small but mantained beautifully. I have stayed there two times. Restaurant is very good. Staff members are nice. There is an employee called Sushant he is the best. Very friendly and helpful

A great budget hotel near Techno Park, rooms are good, staffs friendly, only the drawback is that the breakfast quality is very poor.

यह होटल त्रिवेंद्रम में टेक्नो पार्क वाई पास के पास स्थित है । काफी साफ सुथरा होटल है और यहां के कर्मचारियों का व्यवहार अच्छा है । गर्म पानी के साथ ठंडे पानी की भी यहां व्यवस्था है । वाई फाई की सुविधा के साथ ए सी और टीव्ही की सुविधा है । होटल में रेस्टारेंट भी है ।

Great hotel at affordable price, neat and clean rooms, staffs are friendly.the only problem is that the breakfast served is of very poor quality.apart from that its a great place to stay.

1. Very small rooms.cant even put luggage in the room.
2. Complimentary breakfast was not good at all.

Claustrophobic rooms.
Only the very basic of amenities.
Cleanliness (especially the bathroom) is below average.
Running hot water is a luxury. Practically no room service.
Gave 3 stars because the tarrifs were very low. Perhaps couldn't have expected anything better at that price.

The room was okay. But it's not neat. I found a leftover soap bar probably used by the previous customer. And I could also find cigarette ashes on the floor. The bedsheets were stained as well
