“Badly maintained place, not fit for OYO brand” From the shabby table and chairs kept at the stairwell that is supposed to be the reception, there was dust and dirt all through the two flights of stairs. There is a messy kitchen where a boy looked at my reservation. He called someone, took the photo of my ID in his mobile and gave me the keys. The corridor was dark and unclean. I stepped into the room, the bed linen was white and looked clean and the room (though small), was well lit. But the room floor was dusty. AC was not cooling much; I had to put the fan in full blast. TV was ON, but no cable connection was not working. Bathroom floor was sticky; geyser was not working at all. I didn't check the rating and reviews before booking, just grabbed a cheap deal, which is my mistake. I check out within hours. Avoid this place.
I feel bad to give single star that much bad and very worst experience I had, shameless staff talking rudely, changing room prices for there own, nearly I wait for 4 to 5 hours nobody has responded, I spoiled my day because of this hotel booking and there behaviour, please don’t book here I recommend, Oyo please take action like this worthless hotels
Worst hotel booking in my life. I booked the hotel through MakeMyTrip and on reaching there at night, hotel staff asked me more money for the already booked room. They said the booked room was double booked for some one else. Staff approach and Rooms are pathetic as well Fortunately the booking site provided me another one close by. Stay away from this property.
The hotel doesnt need any star at all. I booked the same hotel for tonight through and when i contacted them for the room; they said they can only give me the room if only i paid them 1300. I booked the room for 568 including tax but now they say i room wont be given on the booked price. I suggest the OYO team to pull this hotel from your listings and avoid further such incidents. The unsuspecting travellers like me would have no other option if this behavior goes forward. I request Agoda and OYO to take this hotel of ur listing and apologise to all aggrieved customers asap
I had booked in oyo and paid the amount when i reached there they asking 400 more and the reason they were telling was there is no classic room only deluxe and i gaved 400 extra and the rooms where very poor
I was travailing long. I booked the hotel because of cheap price. It was 800 something when i was booked. They forcly collected 500 rs extra from me. Dont the hotel it was worst experience.
I had booked the room for 1 night my bus timing was 5am in the morning, went to this place, but there was no one available there, place was locked. Contacted them, nobody picked my call, contacted oyo service, they said will connect with nearby service team and will let me know, still no answer from them also. Talked with some local people around there, they said this has previously happened with family also they had to book another room another place.
I can say that this app and hotels are scam, iam not ready for the explanation that i have faced now i have the license to uninstall the app and i can say to everybody that i knows
Fake & Fraud people's. I booked on 20t December 2022 and I reached their, their is no sign board, No name, No Correct Person. Such a Fake place. I booked by Make my Trip app. This app is totally Fraud peoples.
I came their No sign board no names, I tried to cancel my booking didn't have a option, then I try to call hotel to cancel. No one to pick calls Then I contact customer service they saying. Didn't get refund. Very bad customer service and Very bad App Make My Trip. Shame on this App
Run by fraudsters, oyo has a pricing and these guys have a totally different pricing, almost double the amount. They don't have a proper contact number, reception quality is poor. Worst experience.
I had booked an Oyo of -78601 Poptavern, 123 Lekshmi Towers, Trivandrum on 24th of July and made payment immediately via Gpay (Booking ID- AYXP2123). When I went there the Room was closed and they did not open the door even after calling them several times waited 1 hrs with my family. Still now I didn't receive the amount, after contacting room owner told that its Not their responsible to refund the money, worst experience i had faced! We had booked two rooms in advance and paid for them as well. We went to the location and it was located on top of More Supermarket in a very shady spot. They asked us for an additional 500 rupees per room thinking we were college kids. On top of this they didn't have the rooms available, even though we paid for it. They also denied us a refund saying we didn't have an RTPCR, with the owner being very crass and telling me that he knew more about this business than me since he's been doing this for a while. No other OYO has charged me additional money after paying the full amount! Thankfully, OYO support was able to shift my stay to another hotel without any additional money. All in all it was a terrible experience, and I hope people don't get fooled by their vibrant photos posted on their OYO page.

OYO ആപ്പ് വഴി ബുക്ക് ചെയ്ത് പണമടച്ച് ലൊക്കേഷന് നോക്കി എത്തിയത് ഒരു സൂപ്പര്മാര്ക്കറ്റിന്റെ മുന്നില്. ഹോട്ടല് ബോര്ഡ് കാണുന്നില്ല. OYO App ല് നിന്നും കിട്ടിയ നമ്പര് നോക്കി വിളിച്ചപ്പോള് സൂപ്പര്മാര്ക്കറ്റിനു മുകളിലാണ് ഹോട്ടല് എന്നും റൂം ഒഴിവില്ലെന്നും മറുപടി. ഒരു ബൈക്ക് പോലും നേരാവണ്ണം പാര്ക്ക് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള സ്ഥലം ഇവിടെയില്ല. റൂമിനായി ഓണ്ലൈനായി പണമടച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് പരിഹാസമായിരുന്നു മറുപടി. RTPCR Report വേണമെന്നും ഇല്ലെങ്കില് ഇനിയും പണം വേണമെന്നുമായിരുന്നു ആവശ്യം (വിദേശത്ത് പോവണമെങ്കില് പോലും RTPCR ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്ത ഈ സമയത്താണ് ഈ ആവശ്യമെന്ന് പ്രത്യേകം ഓര്ക്കണം). ഫോണെടുത്ത ഹോട്ടല് മുതലാളിയുടെ ശകാര വര്ഷവും അട്ടഹാസവും പരിഹാസവും കേട്ടതോടെ ഇവിടെ റൂം വേണ്ടെന്ന് തിരൂമാനിച്ചു. OYO യില് വിളിച്ച് കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞ് റീഫണ്ട് വാങ്ങി. ഗൂഗിളിള് ഇവരുടെ റിവ്യൂ കൂടി നോക്കിയതോടെ റൂമെടുക്കാതിരുന്നത് ഭാഗ്യമായി എന്ന് തോന്നി. ''മൂട്ട'' കടിക്കുന്ന ബെഡുകള്. സിഗരറ്റ് മണമുള്ള റൂം. വൃത്തിഹീനമായ ടോയ് ലറ്റ്. ചപ്പു ചവറുകള് നിറഞ്ഞ വരാന്ത. ഒരു സോപ്പു പോലും ഇല്ലാത്ത വാഷ് റൂം. പ്രവര്ത്തന രഹിതമായ എ സി. '' ഇതിലും നല്ലത് റെയില് വേ സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ ബെഞ്ചില് പേപ്പറും വിരിച്ച് ഉറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നി. ഏതായാലും ഇവിടെ റൂമെടുക്കാതിരുന്നതിന് ദൈവത്തോട് നന്ദിയും പറഞ്ഞ് റെയില്വേ സ്റ്റേഷനടുത്ത ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ഹോമില് റൂമെടുത്ത് സുഖമായി കിടന്നുറങ്ങി.
We booked OYO poptavern via OYO and paid full amount. When we checked in they asked for RT PCR but we weren't informed about this. They asked us to cancel the booking. We were new to the city. We didn't know anything about this place and didn't know where to go. On top of this, they didn't refund the payment which we paid for the room. We tried to contact OYO but OYO has no customer care service support. We tried through all the means but got no response from OYO. OYO and Poptavern literally loot people. Please be aware of this place and don't book. There are some other hotels available in the same area. Go for it. Our whole trip was spoiled because of them.
Very Poor customer relations. I booked via OYO and paid online. But when I reached the property they demanded more money and refused to check in. In my experience this is the utter worst hotel in Trivandrum. Beware of this frauds.
This is the worst hotel I have ever been in my life. I don't know if I can call it a hotel. I reached @the hotel in the midnight with my family. When I entered the room I was shocked to see the room was full of coacroaches (Like the movie "Mummy returns"). Bed, blanket, washroom.all was dirty, not clean. I had no other choice but to stay there because it was in the middle of the night and I was with my family. I just don't understand how OYO can list these kind of hotels without even checking, it's high time that they need to look into it. How can they mislead the customers like this

This was my first booking in Oyo. As it was my first booking I got maximum discounts. But when I reached in the place in the middle of the night with my Son, they ruthlessly denied the place saying that I didn't have RTPCR certificate. The property manager was too rude and I was shocked by his behavior and lack of customer focus.
Got charged 300 additional for not having RTPCR even though having 2 dose of vaccination. Showed me some clause set by OYO which I didn't not understand as it was my need I had paid the amount. Except room no other service to be expected like towels, soap, drinking water, room cleaning. Also except bedbugs accompanying you on bed
Always felt cigerate smoke in the air and it disturbs like anything and not felt safe and secure, too much noises and more over that it was so hard to locate hotel bcz there were no sign boards.
Booked in OYO for OYO 78601 Poptavern. When called for Hotel location, the owner asked to pay in CASH. Paid and got a cash receipt. But, they marked me as "Guest NO SHOW" in OYO app. So, I am not able to take print out of the invoice or give a review in OYO App. When called OYO call center for invoice, they are least bothered. They asked me to contact hotel. The Hotel has actually fooled OYO and the customer. But that apparently is not an issue for OYO.
