Got my angle twist treated from here. 4️ only for they made me wait a bit longer to take x rays, medicines and other procedures.

Bunch of irresponsible idiots and lazy management.they don't accept insurance even if it is a corporate insurance, but my insurance provider is listed in their board.

Pls try to avoid better goto other hospitals available in palakkad.

The best hospital at Palakkad, Kerala. Excellent service and affordable for all people. Hard working, patient and polite Doctors. The security guards always welcome you with a smile and are friendly which is fabulous. Nurses take fantastic care of all patients. They deserve a pay hike and recognition for their dedication and 24/7 care and service without any reminders. Good spacious and clean parking space. Good area with less traffic. Food at canteen is hygienic. The owner of the hospital can be proud of this hospital.

Worst experience by nursing staff in pulmonology department.
When We gave our token to them which includes the doctor fees, they carelessly lost the paper and told us you haven’t given us the token and not paid the dr fees! This is the second time that’s happened.

Well managed, well behaved, caring and in one roof you have all the facilities just like any other corporate hospitals that too with much affordable prices.

It’s all about the treatment, care, results and ofcourse the prices.
I say absolutely you get all of these.
I was also quite surprised to see such low ratings for one of the oldest hospitals in the town.
Without any doubt it’s just that they are not bothered about all these ratings as they know what is their vision and mission.

Costing cutting is again for providing affordability.
Starting from gate security to parking they don’t have any unnecessary extra manpower.

The worst experience I had was in this hospital. The behavioural therapist (Dr Raghunath) was the worst kind of doctor to go for any therapy session. He does not listen to the patient. He asks the patient for solutions before even listening to the issues. He is literally a waste to go to. He attends several calls in between sessions which is the most unprofessional thing to do for a therapist during counselling sessions. Don’t waste your time and money consulting Raghunath. He is an old judgemental person more than a doctor. Try consulting someone who listens to you for the money you pay.

It took almost 4 hrs to discharge me after one night of admission. No body seems to be responsible.
Bath rooms are dirty and some of the nurses are rude.
Pillow provided was paper thin.

Return of the medicine when you are getting discharged is such a pathetic experience with staff doing chit chatting and delaying this process. Has faced this twice in the last 2 months. They insist on delivering medicines to the room but when I choose to wait they further delayed. The counter was empty and i was the only person returning the medicines.

Doctors are okay as they take time to understand the patient's history and prescribe medicines by analysing the entire situation.

Some of the nurses are negligent and i could see water bubbles moving into the patient's vein. I was fortunate enough to spot this multiple times which otherwise would have resulted in a danger.
The hospital is dirty with water scaled toilets, and I could see worms in the washroom when I moved in. Cats roam around the paediatric corridor at night marking it unsafe for children.
Food is generally delivered to rooms at around 2 pm in the afternoon which makes the patient and bystander especially when you are in the paediatric ward and you are the only person as a bystander. Have raised this multiple times but no improvement has been observed.
Bystander pass: Any additional person in addition to one is now issued a bystander pass at a cost which was not the case earlier (3 weeks back)
Consulting fees: This is also raised with no noticeable improvement in any of these aspects (3 weeks back vs now) apart from the addition of a few new benches in the corridor.
There was visitors time which is enforced at times would be worth making a note.

Dr Jobi Paul made my mom in coma and now she is dead. He is very bad. Don't ever go here

Dr Venugopal and Dr Jobi Paul are the most dangerous doctor. They handle ICU patients. Make sure to kill you. Dont ever consult here.

Casuality service sucks! PRO service is even worst! When patients go to this department (for sure in emergency), they loot you, they won't mention the medicine details but just 'Medicine Sales' on the bill. We cannot be even sure what medicine they have tried on the patient!

Be careful, there are good doctors but during day time. Never ever go to casuality doctors. It's just a business for them!

Good treatment with Little high expensive, &Too much Worrying about Discharge, thay are too delaying for Discharge.

Town Hospital. Facility improvement is paramountly demanding. Not sure about treatment level. A hospital in this place is essentially needed and seems they are in great strain maintaining the same.

Doctors & nursing staff is good. But social workers department staff (sister) bad behaviour, p'se trained up how to behave others.

Worst hospital. Doctors are good but the nursing staffs and the management is pathetic. Especially the nursing staff in the ICU, their language and services are bad to the core. Extremely dissatisfied with them, not at all qualified for their profession.

Very bad character from the hospital insurance credit staffs, they even forget to collect the bills from the patient and blame on patient and by standers, they made us to wait us for more than 5 hrs for discharge procedures. And last they said patient has initiate the discharge summary and billing details as they are tired of doing duties of patients, very bad behaviour from the nursing staffs and billing staffs.

Very bad experience and totally disppointing, as it was nearer to my home i prefered, and also because of the doctor who really cared, but if the nurses and administration staffs continues this behaviour doctors will lose reputation and hospital will suffer

Very disappointed. My mother got bitten by centipede, because of severe pain and swelling, we went to causality. We have waited for one hour but they didn't even look after us. My father asked help with so many nurses and one doctor but they said to wait. Atlast my mother felt body weakness so we went to nearby clinic.

Average hospital with extremely poor management & hospitality. They will put you in locked up condition when the discharge formalities start! Even a govt run hospital takes less than an hour for discharging a resident, this private hospital will absorb about 4-6 hours, even after making final payment. I thought of this may be an odd experience attributed to me, but later found & confirmed with my friends that this was the general practice of this hospital. This institution is run by a renowned Christian missionary. Usually, any institution run by Christian missionary are appreciated for their efficient & customer friendly management. But Paalana stands apart. It makes a big black spot on missionary management.

We were there today. It was a bad experience. There is no direct clarity to the half staff and they themselves are in doubt. No collection staff. ABG Machine Compliant in Lab. Phone Complaints. It's been years since the fish tag water changed. But one thing is for sure your doctors are good. He made us understand all our doubts.
I only came to show you Doctor Good. But you have to train with your co-staffs.

I had a very worst experience here 2 years back. I came for delivery on oct 3rd 2019 night. The doctor had asked multiple times my husbands job. Upon knowing he is in IT field and we had insurance they had purposely made cessarian to me and told us the reason being umbilical cord had winded the baby. I was very healthy in all 9 months and at last this cesarean made me very depressed and still suffering from back pain. The nurses were very rude like govt hospital nurses. They treat you like you are uneducated and knows nothing Very worst experience.

In Palakkad we have dist hospital, co-op hospital, lakshmi hospital.very rude behaviour from staffs especially from south Kerala.they don’t care your health. Govt should close this hospital. Very pathetic… zero rating

It was a very bad experience.you should not choose this hospital for any reason. It is a treatment based on money and no other ethics.we came to this hospital one Sunday in a very bad condition.
The nurse here said in very childish words that we have to promise that the rest of our treatment will continue here. Only then can we even see a doctor.

Terrible hospital. For leg fracture and operation they said around 1 lac rupees and they wanted us to confirm immediately about the admission. Same surgery was done on another hospital for 40k and patient is now getting stable.

Paalana is good for taking money and not for proper treatment. If you are an health insurance holder or have sufficient bank balance then Paalana is ok, for other cases this hospital is worst than blade banks.

Looting people in name of medical treatment is the trend seen everywhere.

Visited this hospital for various occasions. Satisfactory. Almost crowded in all days. Good treatment offered and experience with doctors and allover were good.

All the procedures were done systematically.
Good attention was given to the patient.

Looting hospital. I had multiple experience with this hospital. Once i got admitted when i had tonsillitis infection and they admitted me in the hospital and kept trying various medicines on me. They held me for 8 days and could not control my tonsillitis infection. I asked for discharge and went to another doctor who cleared the infection in 2 days. Paalana hospital charged hige amount for the 8 days i was admitted there.

Recently i took my neighbour woman who got her wrist fractured. They told me that without sedation, there ll be immense pain while applying plaster and hence she got admitted. They charged 40k as bill the next day. Just to plaster a fracture. I am still wondering how. It was a stupid decision to take her here.

Such a bussiness hospital. They almost killed my mother who had heart attack by giving wrong medicines and treatment. And the nurse and doctors in cardiology didn't said anything except patient is not reacting and they don't think she will survive. My mother lost all her health and almost her life by admitting here. Last minute we shifted her to thrissur and could save her life. Please don't take your relatives or friends for emergencies.

The pediatric department here is very good. They have experienced set of doctors and they have set of educated and well mannered nurses in NICU to take care of our babies. Overall good except it is bit expensive.

How they look for baby delivery? How much it cost? Is it trustable to have natural delivery without cheating

Zero star, if you have no other option, u can go, the staffs are pathetic except the security guard who is polite. An example of complete miss management and how a hospital shouldn't be run. I went there for my wife's checkup but it was pathetic as they didnt allow me inside and she was helpless all inside. She got bleeding, then consulted the doctor as she was bleeding. The old doctor gave some serious of tests to take and since we had the knowledge of those tests, we escaped from palana and went to extremely good hospital AVITIS.she is all fine now. DONT VISIT PALANA.

I visited today for my maternity checking. They didnt allow my husband inside stating reason due to corona. Spent 1000 rs (250+750corona). Went there at 10 am and till 2pm, not consulted by doctor Lakshmi kitty. Finally I got bleeding as these guys made me going here and there for registration and other stuff. Worst management and worst place to go. Finally went to avitis hospital and with in 1 hour, everything taken care and I am happy. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Pathetic experience with paediatrician Reena! We visited the doctor yesterday for ear piercing of our baby. After taking token and providing the earrings for sterilising, the nurse requested us to go out of the room. They mentioned that parents are not allowed to be inside the room during the procedure. This itself was very scary and after the piercing was done the doctor called us to ask if it is in the same level.
The piercing was done at two different places and I really don't understand the logic that the doctor followed asking me after the piercing is done. So what am I supposed to do now that it is in different level, make by baby ho through the same pain again! And since my baby was crying continuously (I do know it is the case with any ear piercing) I did not notice the extra scratches that they made in her face which I didn't ask them to do. Such a negligent lady at her work.
Please do not visit this doctor if you care for your baby!
