I am a regular at Paragon. Having eaten from all the paragons in Kerala-Today I experienced the worst biriyani from such a prestigious name which was acclaimed as one of the top 10 best food and restaurant in the world recently. I have eaten tvm paragon biriyani numerous times but today it was disappointing. The rice was poor, the masala wasnt going w the rice and the meat was just too bland. Maybe a bad day for the kitchen team or a bad day for me.
Service, Parking staff (MVP of Paragon team for me) and facility as always is the best in Trivandrum. My regular imperial blush saved my day. I ordered a fried rice along w my biriyani. That too didnt work out well for us. Even during a working day - the restaurant was jampacked in the afternoon.
I wish the paragon team to try better in maintaining consistency.
They have some really awesome food, to top a great service standard. The taste still lingers as I recount the dishes. The mutton was juicy, well cooked and filled with flavour. The soft parottas and the mutton were a good combo. The beef fry and the beef curry stood out as well. The fish fry was amazing. Overall a great experience.
Every keralite knows about paragon. Superior quality food and taste. You have to spend above 200rs for a person.parking space is there but is crowded most of the time. Take away is available.
After seeing our share of Kerala joints in Bangalore. It's surprising to get to eat authentic Kerala food. Unlike most restaurants where a regional restaurant has a smattering of local cuisine and the rest of the menu leans towards the janatha fare. This restaurant is a Paragon of virtue as far as the food goes. Unfortunately for us, we could not spend time to taste the whole menu. We tried a few dishes. The taste was fantabulous.would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great local menu.
Good food. Seems over priced as am from Malabar region. But quality of service and tasty food compensate that. Ample parking. Clean and neat. Their digital menu is quite difficult for older ones, noticed staff are supportive in that case.
We went with our friends to have dinner. Food was very tasty. We loved it. Don't worry about closing time as it is written like closing time is 9 PM. We went at 9 PM and that time it was too crowded.
Really loved the taste and experience. A bit crowded have to reach around 12: 45 for lunch to get a seat or you will have to wait. Food preparation time is more but the music did job well didn't feel more bored. I liked the qr code idea for choosing menu. Overall very tasty and quality food. Loved deserts and mutton was really soft enjoyed.
Compare with other branches (Dubai, Karama) In Trivandrum Waste food, Not good taste very expensive. Please give good instructions to your staff for the good behaviour (not for all staff one or two). My experience other branches (Dubai Karama all are 100% ok).
A very neat and superb place for dine in and take away.formal and well mannered staff and good presentability of the food.parking facility and staff are provided at the parking lot. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the ambiance provided. Enjoy the classical taste of Paragon for which it is known since 1939.
Without a doubt, the best restraunt in Trivandrum. Love this place. Excellent food, clean and hygienic and very friendly staff. Their chicken 65 is too good. The best time to come is around 4-5 pm, where there is a lot of crowd. Very suitable for children. And very reasonable pricing too. Will recommend to everyone:)
Amazing and tasty food. Altho, dear vegetarians. Please don't expect much. Menu is very limited for veg. (but whatever u find will be great) Must try the Kerala parotta with your fav curry/grave.
I ordered through swiggy chicken65 which cost Rs325 and the quantity was jus 5 small chicken pieces and beef ularthiyathu cost Rs. 350 which hardly had 8small pieces. The food quality is ok but the charge for the food and quantity is unacceptable. Very expensive menu n quantity very less
Maintains the usual quality you would expect from the paragon brand. Staff needs to be better trained in service though. Despite telling them that two more people are coming, they kept removing the two extra glass on our table as if they are short of glasses. It would be a different person each time and we had to explain to them again that more people are coming.
A very good customer service is provided by the team in Paragon and has an amazing location. Their special biriyanis are excellent and provides delicious wide range of cusines.
All food and desserts are tasty and good, except meals. For meals you can find far better options elsewhere in the city and not worth the wait. To make it meaningful order all carte and enjoy with a dessert (I recommend Hot Ney Payasam with Ice cream)
Great place for family and friends to gather for dinner. All kinds of authentiv kerala as well as Northern dishes available. Bit on the pricy side. But highly recommended place. Try Kanthari Tawa Fish best fish starter i have ever had.
Paragon Restaurant is a part of the Paragon chain who have branches in Calicut and Dubai. The food is quite good and one of the best options in the city. The wait time is high during weekends but on weekdays you can easily get seated without waiting much. The service is very quick and one of the quickest I have seen in the city. The taste is also better than most places in the city.
We liked the attention to detail given by the head waiters as one of the waiters serving us had accidentally spilled a little soup, which was noticed and the bowl was changed immediately.
Prices are affordable and the ambiance is well thought of too. There is ample parking space, though it gets full on weekends, still valet parking is provided in such situations.
Elegant, Comfortable Restaurant in par with its outlets in Dubai. Convenient parking. Customer service can be improved ; as the waiting time was too long when the order served, in my case.
