The food quantity was very less if you look at the price, also the light was switching off and on 4 times in a day. When I pay around 10k I expect 24 hr light atleast. As compared to Amber dale, the services and food are pathetic. So I would say if you value your money don't come to this resort. Otherwise they have complimentary boating service in the evening which is good but they haven't explained it in well like timings and all. But food is too expensive. Checking in services are not so satisfactory. They don't even explained their services. If you are foreigner, choose another resort like amber dale or something else.

Outstanding service! My daughter has multiple food allergies and the kitchen accommodated us without hesitation making our trip very enjoyable and safe for my daughter. A big thanks to chef Gopi and his wonderful team.

Other than having a pool facility, I don't see anything else there.other properties we can walk, we have activities. Rhythm is so overpriced, nothing special there.the adjacent properties are more spacious and you don't feel cramped up. The Christmas dinner which was piled up on every guest was too costly and we were forced to be a part of it. Just a below average thing. I felt it was too overpriced for everything. Just a jetty of an hour.no other activity. Either be confined to the room or pool, nothing else.can't even move around. I wish I had booked a bigger place around. Total waste of money.there is not much space in front of cottages to even walk, one has to be careful to not fall in the pool. Pathetic.i slept at 7pm as there was no place to walk or do anything. The spa Is overpriced too. MOTIVE OF RHYTHM IS TO EARN MONEY NOT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I WISH I HAD BOOKED ANOTHER PROPERTY IN KUMARAKOM OR STRAIGHT AWAY LFT FOR BEACH BUT IT WAS THROUGH AN AGENT SO EVERYTHING WAS FORCED.
Too too overhyped and overpriced.total money waste.

Our Stay at Rhythm Kumarakom was nothing less than exceptional and best part was Food that Executive Chef Mr Gopi G recommended us few authentic Kerala Dishes that we enjoyed relished and had flavours to last.

We had 2 pool side villa rooms booked.
Good things:
This property is amazing, the pool and the view is very nice.
The food was delicious, specially north indian cuisine. Please avoid continental cuisine there.
The boat ride in the lake was refreshing

Improvements needed:
The Rooms are horrible. They stink a lot. We were allotted 2 rooms earlier which were pathetic and we couldn’t even stand in a room. Then we asked to change our rooms which they did after initially denying that they don’t have any. The new allotted rooms were also pathetic. Very old, there were cracks everywhere and had foul smell in all the 4 rooms we saw. The rooms were also very small. Never expected to get a 3 star level of room.
The service is average, the bags reached after an hour even after calling the reception multiple times
Lying on your face that there are no rooms available but eventually giving other rooms.
I could see the staff is biased when it came to non Indians, they were allotted better rooms (we saw all of them who booked the same category as us staying closer to the lake)

I regret spending on this property so much when I could have gotten better property than this

Very warm and courteous staff. Great view of the backwaters from the cottages. Had a good stay of 3 nights. Our rooms were upgraded which added to our delight. Very beautiful property.

I had wonderful experience. Place is so serene. Manager Mr. Suraj, chef Mr. Manoj, staff Mr. Ratheesh, Mr. Pravin, Mr. Mitul etc. Has been so polite, friendly, courteous. They made our stay joyous, made note of what we liked and gave us the best. Food is really yummy. I recommend this resort to those who wants to relax and rejuvenate themselves.

They also arrange for boat rides. Lovely view with pool and back waters. Villas have direct access to pools. We enjoyed our time in pool.

Warm staff and very cooperative. Design of resort and pool were great. But overall experience was very average, specially considering its price. Buffet breakfast was ordinary. Lunch way okay, paneer butter masala was bad, fish curry was nice

It's a beautiful property situated besides Lake Vembanad. Cottages are situated along the length of a large pool. Cottages are large with comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities, tv and lots of storage. Direct entry to the pool from cottages. Large bathroom with open shower as well. Breakfast and other food was good as well. No alcohol is served though. They also offer a complimentary 1 hour boat ride in the evening on the lake. It's a tranquil place and I would recommend it for people looking for a place to stay in Kumarakom. Things to improve: room cleaning can be improved a bit. I realise it's open shower and more prone to getting dirty but house keeping was a real let down. They didn't clean hair from shower drain. Also no activities for kids. There should be a play area, couple of swings, a hammock, a slide or something.

Property was good, but lacks facilities like late night finning and bar. Cottages are great to be in with amazing pool and view. A must try

Beautiful calm and Serene place! Good vibe! Quiet! And the food.is mind the blowingss! A bit on pricy side considering the place and ambience it's worth it! And taste, portion size and quantity of the curries are great and worth every penny!

Superb service they have and even superb spa services, they have big swimming pool with infinity, we even did boat riding which was amazing experience, they have good play room and play area, the staff was very much helpful and they made superb stay

Wonderful place to stay with your family. Nicely laid out with cottages on either side of the pool. Good place to relax, read a book or take a swim in the water. Courteous staff and very good service.

Friendly and hospitable staff. Great location by the lake with a gigantic pool leading up to the lake waters. All make for a pleasant stay.

The best resort experience had till date. The location was exactly the same as shown in the pics. The central pool and the rooms spread on the both sides offer an unparalleled experience. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the stay and definitely wish to go back again. The sea side view is also extra ordinary. Must visit in Kerala.

Great place for a vacation!

Lovely place for a relaxing vacation. With it's vast expanse of pool it's breathtakingly beautiful, hygienic place, well maintained, very friendly staff, awesome food (wish they include beef in their menu), the love programs every night were mostly of good standard, babies and kids will love the place with it's natural aquarium s, guinea fowl s pecking around etc. The service at their spa was really of Superior quality. Most important this place is not affected by floods and is a safe option to choose during monsoons also

The best resort I have ever stayed till yet beside the room there was a pool and the resort was touched by the backwaters of kerala. Room service are good and even rooms are very good. This resort has got the best point as one can watch the sunset while relaxing in the arm chair. Food was also quite good will personally suggest someone to visit the resort

There is absolutely nothing special about this place. Very congested resort built on a narrow lane. The infinity pool concept is only useful for clicking photos. We stayed in private pool villa and privacy was non-existent. You will see people peep at your sitout from the infinity pool. Private plunge pool is right next to the infinity pool where anyone can walk. Room was spacious and clean. Open bathroom concept was nice, but we didn't get hot water even after calling them so many times. Highly disappointing for the money paid. Even the open area from where you can see the lake is very small. I was shocked after entering the resort to find no free parking space. You can hardly park 10 vehicles in total. Go only if you want to sit inside your room with curtains closed and do nothing. Staff were courteous, that is the only positive point.

This resort is now called Park Regis Aveda, is a beautiful property with an infinity pool that leads to Vembanad lake. They also have houseboat facility. Truly an amazing experience

Probably the best resort in Kumarakom in terms of cost effectiveness. 100 meter long Swimming pool is the most attractive part of it, and one day stay was not enough to enjoy it completely. Private pool was ok but requires little more maintenance (cleaning daily). Views from all angles were awesome especially where the pool ends to the back water side. Staffs were well mannered and their service was also good. Rooms were also good and well maintained.

Pros:
Breakfast was superb.
Staff especially the catering guys and housekeeping fantastic.
It was my sons birthday and the catering team had somehow found it and surprised us with a memorable delicious cake.
3 stars 1 for each of this.
Cons:
Approach road terrible.
When I inquired for small cab fare from railway station, reception desk gave fares for sedan/ suv.
But when they sent for complimentary boating they sent us in an auto rickshaw.
Even the suite room doesn't have a bath tub. My booking wasn't refundable@ 26400/day where as taj was going @ 16000 for the same facilities due to less occupants post flood season.
Even aveda had slashed rates which they didn't reveal during my stay which was quite disappointing for a star hotel of such repute.
Manager told me they shall adjust in the next booking and send a mail to that effect. The mail is yet to come even after 1 month.

Great experience, good hospitality, beautiful place and wonderful service. Overall a 5star experience.and highly recommended.

Great place for a tranquil holiday. Away from the hastle nestled in the heart of fabulous kumarakom. The pool is the highlight. Loved the design concept of the place. Great staff and absolutely fabulous food. Dont get put off by tariff of food, the portions are huge.

Asked for the details via call as well as sent a mail but no proper response. Very bad customer service.
