Overall very good experience and staffs were also very helpful it only took me 20 - 30 min to complete the process.

A nightmare place for the people who are claustrophobic. Time consuming and poor coordination from such an inevitable service

Today I visited passport seva kendra Kottayam. Very good services from front office and all other counters expect from the C3 counter. The staff named AYYAPPAN was very rude and arrogant. Only because of him I lost my whole opinion about center. He is one of the best example that how an employee cannot be.

Very bad service from some persons over there, especially the receptionist lady who was teasing people coming to her. Passport offices should function more fluently with persons who can manage the customers/applicants effectively. Common people come to these offices thinking they would be treated better here. Receptionist lady is arrogant and not at all fit for that position.

And never ever select for TATKAAL for this.

Yesterday, I visited at Passport Office Kottayam for renew passport of my Brother and new passport for my parents. I read all the reviews prior visiting at centre and was nervous about how will it proceed! As we required the wheelchair accessible and hands from them to guid my family in the centre. To be honest, I was surprised totally as people who reviewed on passport centre above waiting time or parking etc, everything went opposite. Employer of centre were extremely cooperative and they finished the all formalities in less than an hour for three of my family member. As per others review, I thought that it would take more than 3-4 hours as my brother’s appointment was at 12: 15 and my parents were at 15: 15 and 15: 45 but surprisingly, it finished at 13: 10 PM for all of them. We are genuinely happy with the service they delivered and guided in each steps. Also, we had parking facilities there.

If people won’t ask for help, none of them will help you out and we do not have any right to blame them for not helping us before asking.

At last, exceptional service with good quality of employer. Take a Applause for them.

Good Office highly skilled professionals and user friendly.
There is only parking facility for a few vehicles here, if there is no space, you have to park on the road.

Service is highly appreciated. The processes are quick and structured so there is minimal wait time. I really wish all other government offices work like this. Only cons are lack of parking space and waiting area especially with little kids and with sun and dust from the main road.

They will ask to buy the cover for passport. But don't buy it. It's highly expensive comparing with market price. And not of use

Worst behaviour by the person attended me in A8 section on 19.01.21. At first he was nice and then he asked me for paspport cover which i denied as i didnt wanted it. After that he behaved in the most disgusting attitude and he didnt accept 50 rs for sms service sayn he dont have change and when i asked to take my pic one more time he denied. His behaviour was in the most degraded form. As i was with my family i could not report it to APO.thought of sending an email for the same.

There is insufficient parking space. We can't find a place to park even though it's one of the busy areas in kottayam. Cops are always observing the vehicles parked on the roadside also.

Everything is systematic and required work is done fast with minimal waiting time. Such professional team of staff.

I had to change my opinion today. The staff don't know what documents are required, and are good at ridiculing people based on their appearance.

കട്ട പാരയുമായി കാക്കാൻ ഇറങ്ങികൂടെ, pasport എടുക്കാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നവരെ നിർബന്ധിച്ചു leather 400 രുപയുടെ കവർ നിർബന്ധിച്ചു മേടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം ഇന്ത്യൻ pasportന് leather കവർ ഇട്ടിലെങ്കിൽ നശിച്ചു പോകും എന്ന്.

Office is Good. But no parking area. As it is one of the busy junction in kottayam you will not be able to find a place to park. And also the cops are dedicated to fine the parkies in the roadside.

The renewal process took almost close to 1hr for me. One need to be there only at the time mentioned to avoid waiting outside the building.

Received the passport in 7 days post submitting the regular application. This included a public holiday apart from the weekend.

Over all good experience but in the c section one lady behaved very rudely I was with my family and one month old child

I went for my pcc during that time they charged me 400 rs for passport cover and 50 rs as internet charge and they did not inform me that this service is optional and said this is a compulsory and u have to take it this is clear cheating

Good service provided. I wish all the government offices and municipalities in kerala work with such ease and discipline. There is a little space in front office when we enter for people to sit. Only senior citizens are allowed to sit in the first entry area all other youths and others should wait outside. Thats the only drawback. The only solution is that dont reach there too early. Reach only 5 mins early of your allotted time. Once you enter then everything is smooth and disciplined. I really wish all other government offices work like this.

The passport office is clean and well maintained. The processes are quick and structured so there is minimal wait time. The staffs are friendly and helpful also. I had a great experience at the office. Just need to go at the said time to get the passport verification done.

I have applied for renewing my passport, at that time they asked to pay 500 rupees for some cover or envelope. I paid the amount and the staff told that i will get the cover along with passport. But i haven't recieved anything with passport. This is a very big cheating going on there and it is not a mandatory thing to get a cover or special envelope along with passport.

പണം അടച്ചില്ലേൽ പാസ്പോർട്ട് ലഭിക്കില്ലെന്ന് ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി.
പിന്നീട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി മറ്റുള്ളവരോട് അനേഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ അങ്ങനെ പണം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതില്ലെന്നും അവർ പാസ്പോര്ട്ട് കവർ തന്നു പറ്റിക്കുകയാണെന്നും അനുഭവസ്ഥർ പറഞ്ഞു.
ദൈവത്തെ ഓർത്തു അപേക്ഷകരോട് സത്യസന്ധമായി പെരുമാറുക. എല്ലാവരും ഈ തട്ടിപ്പിനെതിരെ പ്രതികരിക്കുകയും ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.

Make sure that the papers/certificates are in order.

Passport Office at Kottayam is located at Nagampadam area (Opposite to Mathrubhoomi Building). They have very prompt services & systematic office procedures. However, there is NO parking facilities in the building complex. And also the office has limited waiting area.

My parents went for passport verification. The office charged them rs50 for sms which I already opted no while I register online. Also they charged Rs350 for the cover which is optional and didn't let my parents know that this was optional. Since my parents were unknown about above two, they tried to call me and the staff over there said, they can't use the phone. This was clearly a cheating. I believe this review will reach the official and take proper action. I called the passport office kochi and they took same attitude that protects the kottayam office.

Fast and systematic service. Bring one passport size photo for your infants with white background. For adults and children no need for photo. They will charge for sms information. 50 rupees

A well organised office and no time waste at all if you are clear with your documents. Working time 0900 - 0530pm Mon - Fri and Lunch break at 0100-0130pm. Use online facilities for your convenience. I had been there almost 4 times during past 2 years for various purposes and had my work got done in less than 30 minutes, passing through various counters step by step

No offence, customer satisfaction is top priority here. My personal experience demands me to say that. Well organised, efficient service. All staffs including security guard are friendly, ready-to-help at anytime. I was a bit tensed while checking in but to my surprise, each staff helped me thoroughly and all formalities were completed in 10-15 mins. Keep up the good work:)

Reception staff (first checking) ground floor, the day (, 27/02/19) I went was behaving as if he isthe owner. Because of his behaviour.low ratings

Very good service. Good customer care. Parking area is only for 15 or 20 cars. Rs. 350/- is too much for the leather wallet. Worths below Rs. 100/-. Good leather wallets are available in Low price. Rs. 50/- is charged for the 2 or 3 sms service. The executive is forced to buy the wallet. The sign board is too small to find from the road.

I ever wonder is this office really situated in kerala. It is unlike any other public office in kerala. Every thing is systematic. Need not to go back dore to get service.
