Their attitude towards us was horrible, weird nd the most worst. Mainly their service. Really really bad. I recommend all those who are going there, just don't go without any expectations.

Nice Ambience, one of the best place for evening and late night snacks with family as well as couples.

Ordered a cake for my husbands bday. Cappuccino & chocolate flavoured cake. Cake was yummy and we loved it. I haven't tried any other items except cake from them. So i would defenitely recommend for those who are looking for yummy cakes.

Nice ambience with beautifull songs in the background. The cakes were so good and tasty.loved by my family, since then started to order from here for the functions in our family. Try once you guys will love it.

So the pasta tasted dusty and the pizza (?) was also questionable with very little to no cheese on it. The food here didn't do any justice to the original flavours of the dishes. They got the aesthetics part right but the food needs improvement.

Falooda was not all good
Last time I came here n was quite satisfied
But this time trust me.it was yucky
Somehow i finished it.
And trimus was hard.

A must visit place for food lovers. I had ordered Pastel special spicy pizza (medium) that has a thin crust base and tasted really good suffices for 2 people. I usually don't order chicken pizza as I don't enjoy the texture of chicken pieces as toppings. But I am glad I took the risk and the Pastel special spicy pizza was just perfect. The chicken was nicely sliced, and the sauce was perfectly spicy with olives on top.
Eat and enjoy.

I ordered mango truffle cake for my birthday. And let me be honest there was nothing close enough to mango other than yellow color. Please don't buy those 15mins cake from here. Well I don't know about other cake. But the one I received was waste of money and disappointing

(Would’ve given no stars, if it was possible) As a baker myself, I noticed a few things like the taste of cocoa, the texture of the cream, all of which seemed off.
Also, no idea why the cake was soggy. It was way too expensive for the kind of thing they provided, wouldn’t have it again even if given for free.
The person making cakes should really consider wearing a mask, gloves and hat. Honestly the entire setup just made me buy just one slice instead of buying for my whole family, and that seems to have been a good decision, because I threw the cake away after one bite.

I used to really like this place. Now the quality has reduced severely. The salads have too much mayonnaise and it's literally a creamy mess. Fruit salads have too much artificial syrup and cold cornflakes. The lime juice has too much syrup and too sugary. Club sandwiches and pizzas are filled with same masalas. I've tried almost everything.
The cakes are tasty and really of good quality till now. Everything else is disappointing.

Last year i bought red velvet cake for new year and had good experience so i wrote a very good review, last month i bought a butterscotch cake for birthday and cake was way pathetic and no one liked it, half the cake we threw, i had to face the anger of my relatives to chose this shop, i also had bought some pastries that day and when i went home it had a fowl smell because it was old so we also threw it, i think they had a owner change or staff change, their quality and taste has reduced very drastically, they have to bring back their old quality or else they will loose the market. Iam really disappointed and i don’t think i will ever come here again, there are many good bakers in the city, the two stars are for the staff who were very welcoming and humble, but thats not only enough

I spent 112 rupees and ordered a grilled chicken salad through swiggy. Taste was bad, and it had hardly 10 pieces of minute chicken. Full of cabbage and onion only. Worst experience.

Good interior and everything except hygienic, I ordered a birthday cake but the making person doesn't wear the Hand gloves or proper beard cap and there is many bees inside the preparation room. Please consider hygienic is also very important for a restaurant.

One of the best Burger available in town. Great courteous staffs who are very cooperative and understands our needs. Pls do try! I tried a spicy pizza option, it was good too. ️

Complete justice to a rainbow cake.
Red velvet cheese cake in the premium category is also a must taste one. They have other beautiful flavours too. No worries for customization in their hands

Dont buy through swiggy. The restaurant is giving me old kubhoos. I order shawarma tge kubhoos is worst. Shawarma is also bad. I will must complaint against this hotel immediately

The absolute best place to get cakes and pastries!  . Excellent selection of deserts, pastries and cupcakes. If you love sweet treats, you need to visit.

Nice ambience, good hangout, friendly staff, a wonderful birthday celebration made our day out. Cake and pizza were yum. Looking forward more celebrations with pastel bakes family.

Had a terrible experience. I was a regular customer of pastel bakes as I liked their desserts. Also I orderd chocolate truffle cake some months ago which turned out really tasty. As all my friends liked it we decided to buy that cake again from pastel bakes. But this time I was really disappointing. The cake they made was full of sugar syrup that was leaking from the sponge when cutting the cake. I went a day before so that they will get enough time to make the cake and so that they don't have to hurry up. Also gave them the matter to write on the cake and paid the advance amount as said by them. They told me to come by 8 pm next day. I went around 8: 30 and asked them if the cake is ready. They were bit nervous and was wondering which cake is it. I knew that they have forgotten about it. Still I kept calm. He told me to wait for 10 mnts and it will be ready by that time. I told them to take enough time and not hurry so that I can get the authentic taste of that cake. They had even forgot what was the matter given to write on cake. They made the cake in hurry and that's why it was a flop. The taste was lacking and the sugar syrup was leaking when cutting the cake. Not at all worth the money I paid. Really disappointed by the service.

I would leave zero star if I could. Food is not at all good, and they are Charing huge amount for such a nasty food! The ambiance is okay (that's the only thing I liked).

Me and my husband were a regular customer to pastel bakes since its opening. But now the quality of food has depleaded a lot that it is too worse. I really dont know what happened to them! I tested it again and again to try whether it was a one time fault. But after the previous lock down i have been there occassionaly and all I had was worse experiences. It included 2 weeks old breads, cookies and cakes.so pathetic how the standard dropped! Today also I went and purchased a coffe cake. I tried it and literally spit it. It was tooo old. The cake tasted like some plastic or so, Its my request to them not to play business on food. Dont sell old food. It will never let you have customers. You will surely lose many like us. And it was my last try today and I lost 130 rs again for the checking. Not again to pastel!

A total disappointment. A shop that has the potential to be the best bakery in Palakkad City, provides a sub standard quality of shakes and pastries. Just giving 1 start for their royal falooda, which was exceptional. Keeping that aside, all the other products that we purchased was below average. Coco brownies shake tasted like a mix of coco powder and milk with no thickness and cost around 180. And other shakes too had the same issue. They could have done better. But they didn't. Atleast do something that is genuine to the price you ask.

Am already done celebrating 4 Birthday cakes from Pastel Bakes meant for our family and the latest being for myself which was a chocolate mousse. The cake was very rich in taste. Every cake so far has been exceptionally good. Also to mention the staff who have been humble and friendly and getting us educated on each cake and it's specialities. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. Excellent, Great variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service and inventiveness.

Dont order online at least, they are deliberately late and the recieved food is utter waste. (Experienced this 4-5 times and fed up of informing them). No actions would be taken.
When we complain to zomato/ swiggy they would simply reject, saying that, 'thats what we deliver here '.
Please dont waste time / money. Utter disappointment.

Great interior and atmosphere for family & friends to spend some time.their American & Italian Cold coffee were awesome, sandwich were yummy too. Please don't forget to try the pastries. They have wide range of French & Italian pastries. Double mousse pastry was excellent.
