Pattarumadam Mega Mart

Visited the place in January. They have everything you would need in terms of goods. However the service they provided was rock bottom. For instance, when we arrived there were about 5-6 set of customers in the ground floor, but the items we needed (utensils) were in the first floor. All the staff (I counted 3 and another 2 at the register). Seeing it crowded we gave the staff time so that they could attend to other customers while to browsed through their goods in the first floor, after about 15 minutes when I came down to ask if one ofthe staff members could help us with getting the things we needed saw the just one couple (customer) getting the things billed with all 5 staff at the register. One lady staff passing by said she’ll be up there soon, but another 15 minutes went by and we went down and asked another staff member to come up. By then some new customers came upstairs to browse and the same guy went with them. Finally got a staff to get the items we needed after 45 minutes in the shop. Another 40-45 minutes spent to bill the things (5-6 items). Each time one of out items get billed the guy at the counter gets called away to het something else by some other staff. Ultimately paid for the things at the adjacent counter where the person I believe was the owner of the shop giving lame excuses and stupid apology. Overall it took close to 2hours just to getwhat we wanted, pay and leave for good. Not worth the hassle at all, and not worth the headache.
