Pebble Coast Resort

The place is very peaceful 200m from the beach. There is a very big market en route to this property. The only thing that I didn't like was there were too many insects inside the room.

Avoid this place. The photos are mixed up with another location. The actual place is not what you see in the photos here. Strictly avoid if you're with family.

Very worst service ever. Staff is from the local Gunda people. Even after the booking was done before two months earlier they have allocated our rooms to other customers. No responsible person is available there to respond your queries. So be careful if you are travelling with your family. This is not the safe place to stay here with your family members.

Super Deluxe AC room redefined.

Feeling cheated by this lodge and MMT. It was terrible experience to stay here. Never dare to come here with your family.

1) Dirty walls
2) Fan doesn't works
3) No power backup (I guess they turned it down to save AC bills at 11PM, because surrounding areas has power)
4) It's a lodge, no food available. No room service available.
5) Even they can't give you a bottle of water if you don't bring yours own.
6) Near to beach, but the way to beach is through a jungle and a narrow (1 feet max) walking space. You wouldn't dare to go though this way after sunset.
7) All positive reviews are manipulated, if you don't trust my words you would blame yourself after staying here.
8) It's not a hotel, nor a resort, nor a honestay. It's just a dirty, un-maintained room.
9) Nearest restaurant is 1km away and highly stiff road.
10) No reception desk, after reaching this lodge it took 1 hour to find out the caretaker. The caretaker don't know English or Hindi. They denied our checkin but our cab driver was very supportive. He stood with us until they arranged a room for us. It tool almost two hours. Without our cab driver it was impossible to checkin at this lodge. He was interpreting our language.

It was a painful experience to staying here.

Update 1: No checkin and checkout process followed. No ID cards were taken. No guest register there. It's a highly unsafe place for families. We leave the room in very early morning, no one there to inform the same.

All guests have same complaint that on arrival they said your online OTA booking is canceled.

One word for this place is pathetic. Do not get fooled by the photos and the reviews. I strongly feel the positive reviews are manufactured. The rooms are uncleaned, old, soiled bed and linens. The staffs are irresponsible and with attitude of fend for yourself. There's no parking and the place is on a steep side of the road. No drinking water, food and room service. The reason given was all are on leave. My question is why should you accept booking if you cannot provide basic amenities which are least expected from the clients who have booked the rooms. By and large, worst and nightmarish experience. There's nothing less than a 1 star this place and it's only two staffs deserve. I am writing this review even while staying in this place with 2 more days to pass. We were 2 families who had booked 2 rooms for our holidays. But repent and feel it's our bad luck to face this experience.

Horrible experience, no basis facilities, no food, not even tea or coffee, rooms were dirty, worst ever experience

One of the worst stays of my life. We had booked 15 days earlier, called & confirmed again 4 hrs before coming here. Yet the room was not ready, forget about sanitation, the room was not available. Apparently they had overbooked. After a bit of a back & forth argument, we finally got a room.

One room was smelling so bad, literally like a dumping yard. As we had booked two rooms, we all adjusted to one of the rooms which was little okay. As we were staying for a night, we thought of using the second room's bathroom only. But by midnight, the caretaker (with a long ponytail) saw that the room was empty & he gave it to another customer without even asking us. Even repeatedly calling he didn't listen and left.

The owner was so rude, he was not ready to listen to anything. Don't go by location & photos, they have only one good room, which they have posted all others are not livable. Attaching the video & pics you can better judge yourself.

I will agree, the location is nice, near the beach but what's the point of location if you can't sleep peacefully at night. No water, No towel, caretaker doesn't understand English, yes if you can speak Malayalam then you can get some concession out of him. The attitude of the caretaker was like we are not customers but some beggars waiting for alms. Please avoid staying here

No service or housekeeping, unclean rooms and towels, spiders and insects walking in the rooms, avoid staying here!

Staff especially Anu was very helpful, we got our laundry done there. This is definitely not a resort though, the room we got is next to timbre station.

Hotel is nearby to azhimala temple. Host Mr. Ram is a good guy who will help you out with stay and all sightseeing arrangements. Anu makes good food and anish is your go to guy for anything. They have premium rooms and normal rooms as well. Tariff is pretty reasonable.

Cozy rooms, sumptuous breakfast and a great host, Ram.
Nothing but the sound of waves and light breeze.

We had an amazing and safe stay at pebbles. Host is very friendly in manner and room is also very clean and comfy. Highly recommended place when you visit kanjiramkulam and aazhimala Siva temple.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staffs were amazing. Main attraction of this place is delicious food at affordable price. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kanjiramkulam/Azhimala/Poovar.

Calm location, budget friendly, near to beach
But
Parking- difficult - due to low parking space, need some skill to park and need to move the vehicle if some car in front desired to move out.

The best travel and stay experience i recently had. The host Ram and his guys were awesome. We were a group of 10 people.everybody had an awesome time

Rooms are good, balcony view is amazing, hospitality is what we found the best till yet, tea is amazing and staff is good.

The best stay i ever had in my life. The property is in close vicinity to beach and Azhimala temple. The property owner was so good and supportive. The staff were also good. The service was very prompt.

Poli vibe place!?

Honestly speaking, we had an amazing stay at Pebbles. This place is so relaxing that you forget about your hectic life outside. Mr Ram, a polite person who took care of every stuff in a well maintained way. And there is a good friend (became our friend after going there) name Muneesh, what a guy he is. Down to earth person and he never says no to what you ask for related to your stay, comfort, food and his friendly polite nature talks. On the way, this is the best place to relax. Will be visiting again, but this time for a long stay. Thank you, Pebbles team.

We were looking a place for a get-together for twelve people last Saturday and Sunday. Found Pebble Cost near Manaltheeram Ayurvedic Resort, Chowara. Love at first sight ambiences property. A/C Rooms are well maintained- neat and tidy filled with accessories like a star hotel- Towel, kettle, tea bags, sugar etc. All of us are satisfied with the service they provide.

Management and staffs are cooperative for all extent. They provide roof top for barbeque preparation with well maintained kitchen and washroom. All including family members didn't felt any inconveniences!

I suggest this property people going to Kovalam because azhimala is nearby.well maintained beach at walkable distance aswell! Again we will select for another get-together.

Amazing place with amazing people. I stayed here few months and was delighted by the experience. I came as a stranger and left as a friend. The place is very peaceful and comfortable. It is 2mins walk from the beach and is a paradise with peacocks visiting it everyday.
The staff is amazing and helpful. If you want to stay in kovallam for a holiday i would recommend you to choose pebble coast. It has a amazing view of the sea from the terrace, delicious food, and spacious clean rooms.

The property was worth for that price! You cont find good property like this near by azhimala Shivan temple, the staff was too good and cooperative! Supervisor Maneesh was well supportive he helped us for every situation even for bike rental he arranged us for cheap price! If you are looking for budget friendly stay blindly go for it! You won’t regret it!

One of the best place to stay, we feel very comfortable just like home and i would say thanks to ashish for helping us and ram and is wife cooking is delicious. I will recomend this hotel for everyone

Excellent service staff. We booked 2 non ac rooms on a midnight and went straight in for check-in. There was an internal miss communication. So 2 rooms weren't available. But within 20 minutes, they arranged the rooms for us and gave us free upgrade to AC.

Close to the beach. Other facilities such as washing machine, cooking, gym, yoga spot are also provided.

Stayed here for more than 15 days. Neat and tidy rooms. Also courteous staff, helpful at each point.

Next to a peaceful scenic beach in a beautiful rural location. Beautiful sea view from terrace. Clean rooms with friendly staff and all the homely facilities. Very peaceful setting. Highly recommended for families. Visited Poovar backwaters and had seafood in a floating restaurant.

The place is clean, people are courteous. Had fun staying here. Munnesh helped us with everything.

It is a very fine establishment. The stay was very comfortable and service was great, did not face any problems, the rooms were very clean. Would surely visit again.
