Me and my husband stayed at Pepper Trail for 3 days. Very courteous staff and a very nice place to stay. Very well maintained. Did bird watching, fishing, plantation jeep ride and had explored a lot in the estate. However, they did not put effort towards creating ambience. Light music, barbecue, camp fire, serving onam saddi on request, serving on banana leaf and other Kerala or plantation specials could have further made it enjoyable.

Stayed here for 2 nights.well maintaimed n designed rooms.friendly staff.good quality food.overall experience during stay was excellent.

Negative.only set menu.have to go with their set menu n have bit room for customization.i was not in mood for Some of the items. No good restaurants around so no choice of stepping out.

Drove n went here.main road to property is in pathetic state.

Lack of activities inside resort.their jeep ride is good. No spa.no gaming boards.no bar. Just tea tasting n estate ride.

Good place, food is delicious, varieties to choose from, staff were excellent very welcome and friendly, with green plantation in jungle, clean air, "Pepper Trail". Staying close to sanctuary was a very peaceful experience, my only regret is I was not able stay more than one night, iam planing to visit again.

Beautiful view and wonderful experience staying at Tree house and pool villa. Would be rated 5* if it is not this expensive.
The lunch and breakfast is not too bad. The lunch is not worth for the money but quality and taste wise its 5*.

A luxurious abode in the lap of nature, located inside a plantation. We stayed in the pool villa cottage, which was beautifully and comfortably furnished. The private swimming pool attached to the cottage was fun to relax in, especially when it rained.

The service staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, with a wide variety of options. Of particular note is the Lunch Meals/Sadya.we were delighted with the sheer quantity of items and the delicious taste of every one of the items in it. The dinner and breakfast items were really good as well, and very filling.
The next day morning, there was a plantation jeep tour arranged for us, where they took us around the property in their vehicle, and showed us the variety of crops they grow and harvest, as well as the fish pond.
Overall, we came back happy, relaxed and delighted after a wonderful time.

We spent good time at the resort. There's greenery everywhere. We stayed in pool villa and Mackenzie suite. Both rooms were good and we enjoyed most of the time in pool villa. The food has limited options but they will provide you a set of breakfast, dinner, lunch and snacks menu. We can choose full menu or ala carte. Menu changes everyday and they have both veg and non veg options. We had selected only a few items from the menu because we are not used to Kerala rice and most of the dishes will be of Kerala style. Overall, breakfast was good, lunch was average, evening snacks and dinner was good. The resort has complimentary Jeep Safari, bird watching and plantation walk where you can spend good time. During plantation walk, the person explained about types of coffee, tea and pepper. How they make, process and produce. It was a knowledgeable session. And jeep safari was just a drive to tea/coffee estate and to naturally formed lake. The resort also has common pool.
It was a 7hrs drive from Bangalore. The road till resort was good, except for few diversions at Bangalore -Mysore expressway and few under construction roads / kaccha roads while you approach to resort from Sulthan Bathery. During our journey, Gundulpet was best option for us to have food break. There are few good restaurants over there. We also spotted deers, elephants while we drove through Bandipur national forest. Overall it was a good break out of our busy life.

The location was fantastic. Our rooms were amazing and clean. Best part was the huge balcony with a nice plantation view. The bathroom had all amenities and high quality toiletries too. Although there's no buffet, breakfast is really good with multiple options. The infinity pool has a nice view and was empty since we were there on a weekday. The staff were really helpful as well.
If you're a bird watcher, then this is the place for you. We couldn't count the different variety of birds that we were able to spot in the vicinity of our room.

We stayed at the Mackenzie suite. The room was spacious, cleans and well sanitised.

We were taken for a plantation tour in the morning. Packages was pretty expensive and included only breakfast. It would have been good if other meals were included for the amount being charged.

This is apt for a laid back holiday, although a few activities could be included.

One of the best resorts in Wayanad. Perfect place to hide from your busy schedule. The rooms, food, service and their guided plantation safari is really awesome.

One of the best properties I have been to. Food and Service was too good. Though the rates are a bit on the higher side, it's worth it. Tree House experience was awesome.

It's a plantation resort.
The rooms are more like villas.
The privacy is excellent
The pool is sparkling clean.
The ambience is excellent.
I loved the cook.
It's more like course meal.
We can also order some dishes.
Private Pool villa is temperature controlled.
We are taken for a ride around the plantation in an open jeep.
Jeep ride is kind of ok takes about one hour.
Overall. I will definitely recommend to others.
One thing I forgot. They even have Netflix Amazon prime and other accounts in your villa TV.
The free standing bathtub is also very clean.

WoW place I stayed for one day here. Pool villa was awesome. The property was clean and food was also good specially breakfast buffet.
Jeep ride to tea garden was mesmerizing. You must visit here. It's a peaceful, lush green and best place to relax.

This gorgeous 200 Acre property is probably the most hospitable resort i have ever stayed in. The rooms ooze luxurious ambience and staff is well trained and courteous. We stayed in the villa for 2 days and the woodpecker house for 2 days and will definitely recommend these guys to who ever wants a quaint, luxurious and close to nature experience.

One of the best resorts I have seen. Situated inside a 200acre plantation, staying here is truly an escape from everything else. The closet main town is Sultan Bathery, the resort is about 7 Kms from there. Upon arriving we were greeted by the receptionist who is also the manager, we were served with welcome drinks and then taken to our Villa. The villa is superbly done, the attention to detail is amazing and we had our own private pool. I loved the design and furniture. The staff are very courteous and helpful. I can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing stay in Wayanad.

We stayed there for almost 3 days, 2 days in a pool villa and 1 day in the Mackenzie suite. Even though in this pandemic situation they managed everything in a pretty good way. One of the best resort we have visited till now, the receptionist and the staff they were friendly they welcomed us nicely, Food was fresh and tasty, they provide different varieties of food, The whole resort is almost in 200 acres of land. Pool villa is my kid's favourite, it's not a big pool but definitely, kids can enjoy a lot, the interior was awesome which makes us comfortable and they take us for a morning safari on the plantation. We can see different kinds of birds inside the plantation.

Even though Resort is very good at very decent location with full of green but there is no activities as they mentioned if we asked about activities there is no reply from them food is not upto the mark, hot water for bathing is not provided sufficiently if it is asked reply from staff will be like sir it's limit please adjust it.even though ambience is good but the behaviour of the staff will make us not the worth to b paid for the peaceful holiday especially the lady staff Joyce is so rude to respond to customer management team look after her she don't have humanity at all

We had been to Pepper Trails for our anniversary last week, our occasion was made even more memorable by our stay at pepper Trails! The Staffs were very professional and very very cooperative! Thanks a lot Yadhu, Hari, Amal and Akhil for all your help for making our stay as comfortable as possible

Great place to be for relaxing! We had booked one night tree house and one night pool villa.both are worth staying at.breakfast was also amazing.pool villa also has facility to heat the pool.so you can dive anytime in pool.they also had decorated our villa as we were on our anniversary.free jeep ride in the Morning to visit their coffee and tea plantation.

A nice place to spend your weekend. The climate here is amazing. Also the furnishing of the rooms are really great. If you are looking this place for a honeymoon type of event. Then you have reached one of the best resort in wayanad with promising privacy.

We had a luxurious stay at one of the pool villas. It was quite a worthy stay.we were able to enjoy a calm and soothing atmosphere. The entire plot is of 200 acres with coffee and tea plantation. The pool's open to a coffee plantation and we had total privacy.we had a jeep ride through the plantation with the guide explaining the various processes of coffe and tea production. He explained and showed us different bird species present in the area. (We were lucky to see a peacock and few parrots). Other amenities included bicycle ride for those who want, through the plantation, a natural pond (in which they told there used to be boat ride, but closed as of now).

The breakfast menu spectrum wasn't that wide. But we did enjoy the food that was served. (Obviously complementary). The per head charge for the other meals (dinner and lunch), if my memory serves me right, was between (700 & 1000; don't remember exactly).

We stayed in McKenzie Suite for 4 days and loved our stay thoroughly! Food was great too! I wish they had a small shop to sell local estate produce like spices, coffee and tea.

Stayed at tree houses for 3 nights.
Pros:
1. Amazing surroundings, estate spread across 200 acres with coffee and tea plantations.
2. Food is great and freshly prepared. Dinner is a 4 course menu.
3. Infinity pool with an unobstructed view to plantations
4. Jeep safari and bicycles available to explore the estate
Cons:
1. Woodpecker tree house needs maintenance. Fan was making noise, some of the windows hanging loose, lighting on pathway to tree house is insufficient.
2. Snacks are served only 3-6pm. No options outside those hours.
3. Breakfast service could have been better. Limited staff.
4. Don’t have liquor license, so no bar

The property was splendid. The old age vibe and ambience was lovely. As they said, they have kept the 148 year home rooms as much as old age to give the guests the feel. Amazing. Must visit.

Had a beautiful weekend with my family in Pepper Trail. Peaceful estate spread over 200 acres with Coffee, Tea and Pepper plantations. Highly recommend to try the special meal plan to experience a complete Kerala style cuisine. Best room service and very polite staff team.

I have booked initially Peppertrail for a day for the Mckensie suite, as I have to travel to Bangalore during July 2020. It helped that the Hotel is the nearest Luxury Resort near to Muttanga Border and the hotel was on my bucket list for a long time.

What an Experience this was, (I extended my stay for another day seeing how good Pepper Trail was). We had the full complete resort for ourselves. We were guided by Yadu and Harison (Wonderful people) to the resort. Anand, the owner has also contacted us to make sure our trip was completed without any hiccups.

We had been upgraded to the Luxury Pool Villa (Painstakingly well done), and we were pampered with Kerala Delicacies for Lunch and Dinner. Each dish was top notch. The room had everything you need as you can see in the Photos. (It has 2 air conditioners, but you won't be needing it for most of the time). This is the best stay I had in all over South India.

The Misty Mornings, the ever lingering cry of Cicadas, the constant calls of the Peafowls, fresh air, cool weather can make any stay wonderful, but nothing can replace the people factor of Pepper Trail. They were that good.

Anand's team has done an excellent job in Pepper Trail, they were with us every step of the way and my kids didn't want to leave the hotel even after a couple of days. They had packed us sandwiches and fruits at 6.30 AM in the morning because I had to leave early to reach the Kerala - Karnataka border. Their regular time starts at 8 AM. Big shout to Aneesh, Sijo the caretakers who were at our service all-day long.
