Petals Resorts Wayanad

We stayed here from 30/11/23 to 01/12/23. Let me review one by one.
First: Approaching road. Well located on the main road and hassle free approach road unlike other resorts where approcahing road will be off road and struggle to approach.
Second: Car Parking. Pretty good and accessable near reception area
Third: Reception - Reception area is good. Welcomed with a drink and pretty neat area combined with restaurant area
Fourth: Hospitality - The staffs are well mannered and very supportive and friendly.
Fifth: Room - We booked Heritage AC Independent room and the room is pretty spacious and well maintained. The interior of the room is top class and the mountain view from balcony is top notch. Lighting is good. Iron box, Dryer, Kettle and dressing table and all basic facilities were available in the room. Thorughly enjoyed the room ambience.
Sixth: Restaurant- Had only dinner and breakfast and the food is excellent. No complaints about the food quality and quality.
Seventh: Snacks - Missing snacks and tea here in the evening which was provided by the other resort we stayed next day.
Eighth: Infinity Pool - Classic view and top class. Absolutely enjoyed the view and the pool.
Nineth: Play area - Well maintained and having billiards, chess, handball and carrom. Spent good time.

Conclusion: The resort is well maintained and clean and hygiene. Had a nice stay there and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended and must visit resort in Wayanad.

Pros:
The resort is beautiful, lush green.
The rooms and the balcony are spacious.
We stayed in a room with jacuzzi and that was the HIGHLIGHT of our stay.
The staff is quite courteous, the breakfast was decent, swimming pool was amazing- clean and well maintained.
There’s a GAME ROOM too with pool table, carrom, chess, foosball- we loved spending time over there.

Con:
The only thing we absolutely hated was the SPA- the masseuse didn’t seem to be actual masseuse- it was painful- they didn’t seem to have any knowledge on massaging- felt more like a torture

I traveled with my cousins sisters on 28 September & 29 September 2023, we enjoyed your property with greenery and vegetation. Staff is very humble with smiling and welmanner. You provided us jain food that was delicious. Only one thing was noticed that gas geyser was in bathroom. It should be outside of the bathroom as The gas geyser depletes the Oxygen available in the closed space and starts giving out CO which gets inside the body. CO causes poisoning which can cause symptoms such as dizziness, seizures, unconsciousness, blackouts and further cause brain damage, cardiac arrest and multiple.

Petals is a fine resort situated in a serene location facing the Banasura hills.

The arboriculture is very well maintained befitting the serenity. I have visited this place in End August and the emperature is very comfortable. Not too cold n not too hot.

The resort has an infinity pool and a kids pool within it. Kids play area has got trampoline, swing mary-go-round etc. Another indoor game area is there with chess, carrom board, pool board etc.

Restaurant is good but all items were a little salty. Fresh juice especially orange juice is a must try item.

Almost all rooms are facing the misty mountains and are nest n clean.

Thing which require special mention is the service attitude of all staffs here starting from the reception crew to the cleaning staffs.

A place I would like to visit for a second time.

Amazing place in the midst of pristine nature. Polite staff, amazing and super luxury large sized rooms with plenty of balcony space to view the nature and nearby hills. An ideal place for perfect family getaway.

Clean rooms, welcoming staff, good views, comfortable stay. Great service.stayed here for 2 nights and everything was good.

We had been for new year. They had arranged gala night. Live singing, barbecue, bonfire, crackers, DJ, amazing food, overall an amazing experience. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. Kids enjoyed jacuzzi bath. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing experience staying at this property, calm and peace. The team was in touch with us even before our arrival for hassle free check in. We had taken honeymoon package with Candle light dinner, sight seeing and full boy massage for couple. And we are extremely happy with our choice of picking Petals resort. Service by the staff was at it's best throughout our stay! Room is clean and neat! Food was delicious n dining is extremely clean and neat! We had the best cab Driver (Rajesh), he was very polite and kind, though we were new to the place he took us to the best sight seeing places.

Fantastic food, and very accommodating and well behaved staff.

Absolutely loved the stay. We had taken the Royal villa and It was worth every penny.

The room and the view were exceptional but the service wasn't that good.

The wifi doesn't cover the entire room and gets turned off everyday. The glass doors to the room and bathroom were not sealed, this let in a lot of insects.

The jacuzzi was good but it had to repaired for an hour before use. The water heater didn't work well and we used cold water both the days.

The staff was quick in responding but the response was not customer friendly.

I highly recommend petals resort for their amazing hospitality and service. The cottages provided to us were very clean and fresh. Arrangements were very good. Cottages have a good amount of space in balcony. Food served was very tasty and hygienic. Each and every staff here are humble and ready to help the guest in best of their capacity. They show true love and affection to each of their guest. They allowed us to check-in early without any hassle. They also served us the food in room whenever requested. One of the best place in wayanad for a getaway. There is a infinity pool and spa service too. Unlike other forest resorts it's not scary here at night and one can freely roam around.rooms have a Jacuzzi fitted in bathroom. However if you are against wasting water then you may simply go for non Jacuzzi rooms. Stay for minimum of two night here for an amazing experience.

I have booked the jacuzzi royal room with a cost of 11k. But once I went there the room not at all good for this price range simply over prized.
Horrible food. Below average, I didn't like the dinner especially chilli chicken and ghee rice. Night ambience is not at all good, i requested for camp fire and they provide it at the outskirt of this property, horrible experience. I guess we will get super fascility resorts at this price range

Environment is peaceful, not much scenary to watch, not much noise.

We had an amazing stay here and one can enjoy beauty of nature place and staff is well maintained had a mindblowing experience

What an excellent place to stay, visited this place in the month of July 2022.
Rooms are clean and well maintained, resort has an infinity pool with excellent view.

We had an amazing stay here. The resort is very well maintained. The rooms were well maintained. Mr. Francis and his staff took good care of us. The food was amazing, many thanks to the chef. Booking was done for my family. I was not there in the trip but received very good comments. The stay was awesome for them and the food was delicious and commendable. My mom said she had the best Kerala porotta she had in her life. The employees was also very polite. Special thanks to Mr. Shine Francis for the wonderful arrangement.

The food. We came here searching for a good place to break for lunch and what can I say but praise the restaurant staff and the chef. The food is to die for. The fish fry/ pepper chicken/ was lip smacking good. The cherry on the meal was the fried icecream. Wow. Thank you so much Petals resort Waynad for such an amazing experience.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of City Life. Place is great almost we feel like it's in a forest area.
Food is ok not so great. Welcome drink we got is so good, room service is also good. Pool is great and lot of greenery for photo lovers

Polite and helpful staffs, good food. A really pretty resort especially at night. Loved the swimming pool. Well maintained. Would recommend for families!

The polite and helpful staff stand out:
Mango was not on the menu but they sourced it from the resort vicinity and served me on my request.
The excess order of lunch was refrigerated for later use on my request (I did not want to waste food).
They remembered small details like my preference for warm jeera-water and served it for every meal without being asked.
They were very happy to guide us to nearby places. One even went to the extent of showing an alternate route because the map was showing a rain damaged route.
You may find other resorts with similar pristine views and facilities, but it is the well trained staff here who make a difference.

The resort was well maintained and the ambience, amenities and pool was also good.it is infinite pool.the only problem is high price of food.even a tea costs rs. 80.it is better to eat from outside hotels.breakfast is included

I think there almost 14 fam can accommodate in the resort, But the is too small and cannot use for more than 1 at a time.

We choose the royal villa, the room and the services was good
Issues we had faced
1. No wifi available in the room
2. Dirty water in toilet on the first day
3. No proper lock for side window on toilet
4. Bathroom door was jammed

A pretty good resort in wayanad. Located near banasura. It's in a hill top and the landscape view from there is very nice. Friendly staff, good food and overall had a great experience. Jacuzzi bath tub is really nice

Nice resort, rooms are of high standards, great breakfast served, good swimming pool with a small section for kids.staffs and manager are so well mannered and always available for help.nice shady place for parking.
There was no wi-fi available in room.
Most important thing is, there was nothing to do other than just stay there and enjoy atmosphere, food, peace.
If you want to do something like hiking, explore jungle, this is not the place, you will get disappointed.
Overall a good peaceful place.

It's a vey good place for enjoying ur vacation with family in wayanad. The rooms are so good and the food was also so good.

Me and my friends stayed in this resort, the staff some people’s are good, And I wanna mention one guy named GM shine he really behaved in a rude way, he can explain in a good manner and as he does not know how to handle the customers, and this made me an uspset day!

The resort is good. Good for a day or two. Not much to see. But have swimming pool, badminton court, ganes room with snooker, chess etc. Have a seperate for events and food is good.

We stayed in Heritage villa of Petals Resort on March 2021 and stay was good. But felt the price is high for the facilities provided. There is nothing much to do inside the resort, so went to another resort on next day. Infinity pool was small. No cold climate.only there was some fog in the morning. Room and balcony was spacious. Food was Excellent and will surely give a 5 stars for the food. All Staffs were very friendly and cooperating.

Worst hospitality. I dont have a signle reason to recomment this plot. It seems the staff are the king and our stay was their mercy. We were 25 members, they failed to serve food for our group. We waited for a long time at dinner for each dishes.

Room had an amazing balcony view.
Campfire is allowed based on the number of guests. Poolside photography is a must take from this resort. Pretty good resort if you plan to come here with family. There were no adventure activities within the resort for outdoor travel enthusiasts.

Very limited options for kids activity. The swimming pool is kind of small. The room tv was not working. After reporting, the staff came and checked and promised in 10 minutes it will be ready. After few hours called again, but no one showed up. The jacuzzi was connected to the power without a plug.

First experience in a Resort in Wayanad and went very well.
We gave a surprise anniversary gift to our friend and his wife. Resort staff cooperation was outstanding.

Apart from infinity pool there is nothing exciting in this resort.
Food was okayish.
No activities and one cannot spend more than a day.
One most important point to note is they have very very rude manager named shine who doesn't value / respect their customers.
A guy who served food named Joel /Joseph he is so nice and served food very patiently.

Petals is the one of best Resort for newly married couples, eco friendly rooms, best in class guest facilities, amazing mountains views and very good staff.

Costly a bit but accordingly room categories. Hill side facing spacious rooms. Balcony, glass doors of balcony, courteous staffs, outdoor and indoor game facilities. Proper santization methods are followed. They even sanitized our car while entering. Rooms are so spacious.never felt like staying away from home, breakfast layout was also lavish.they dont have a bar but allows from outside if you have your own.

There is very high price for food items and extra money to be payed for swim suit.and there is no availability of coconut oil.fed up.

Very good ambience.calm and quiet place. Rate is higher.single room for 2 persons Rs 7000.extra bed rate 2000.clean and neat bedrooms. Available mini fridge.wardrobe, clean and hygiene bathrooms.available rooms with jacuzzi bathtub bathroom but Rate is 12000.but Top end swimming pool. Large loans. And trees feel like forest. Totally mindcool greenish place.

It was a good resort.
Located in a picturesque place and with a lotta breathtaking views. Especially the one from the balcony of each room, that was pretty awesome. The rooms were spacious, neat & well equipped and decorated.
The pool was clean, but was actually smaller than wat it looks like in photos.
The only deal breaker ws the food. It was average, not great. Service was also great.
Altogether good experience.

The view from the swimming pool is good. Admist lot of greenery. The con is it's expensive and online booking is cheaper than direct bookings with the resort.

Not value for money, rooms are average, not so hygienic, lack of privacy at pool area, expensive food, waste of money (infinity pool have great view.)

Located in remote interior places and accommodation for families and bachelor available. Availability of food and other amenities is little hard. Even have to travel little far to get your mornings coffee.
