Rooms were not that much clean but okay.
Service lacks professionalism.
Complimentary breakfast was okay.
View of chembra peak was great.

The only thing I liked about this property is the view from the reception area of the chembra peak
We had booked AC room for 2 nights and the room which was given to us didn't had the view as shown in pictures.
We asked for different room staff said they'll give it on next day but upon asking 2nd day they said that ac rooms are not available they can shift us to non AC room.
The restaurant had very limited menu
And breakfast also had limited menu
Eggs are not included and are chargeable.
Aslo there is no proper parking for the place.

The natural pool or Water body Which staff says is good for taking bath is very dengerous place as anything can be lurking in that water body also there is not place to change clothes
And have to walk down lots of steps to reach water body

It is better to not book this place for its high room price and lack of amminities they provide for the price.

We were here for 2 nights and 3 days.

It is a beautiful serene and quaint place.
The staff are extremely friendly and kind, the food is amazing, both veg and non-veg and they were kind enough to make dishes that are not available on the menu but need a bit of advance notice.

The rooms are comfortable and big enough. The view is absolutely beautiful with the best view of the Chembra peak and coffee plantations. You don’t need an alarm to wake up as the “Beautiful Sound of music “ for the different birds is a refreshing and a natural alarm during the early hours of the day.

Though not many activities to do within the resort itself, the paved nature walk within the plantation takes you down to a small stream which is peaceful, there are few animals (birds and fish) you can spend time with. It is also pretty close to all the famous places around Waynad!

If you want to switch off from your everyday work stress to a quiet, undisturbed peaceful place, Planet Green is definitely the place.

It is still reeling of the effects of Covid but definitely on the up and worth the visit!

Everything is great about this place. Located close to Kalpetta main road, it is on a hill top in the middle of a jungle, where you can see so many birds and even Malabar Giant Squirrels on your balcony. There is a small water stream if you climb down a few flights of stairs. Rooms are big, breakfast is one of the best I have ever had.

The manager here is racist. Mr Rajesh Shenoy tried To Harrase Our family for asking Eggs for breakfast, He started to yell saying He doesn’t have eggs and After 10 in the mrng he can’t serve food and all, He scared us saying we cannot move out of the resort if he thinks and all, Please family people avoid the resort

Experience is very bad here and food is also not good, manager was very rude when we asked for something and started shouting at us

The place is really good for the scenary and the view it gives from the balcony but there is nothing else apart from that to do in the resort.you will always wake up to the best view but there are no activities for you to spend time on if you are stuck in rain or have no plans to step out. There is no swimming pool. The food can also be better catering to different tastes. The one we had was very blend and had no spice at all. The service from team is really good

Being a vegetarian I had no expectations on veg food in Kerala. This home stay served us the best veg food. Awesome location, rooms neatly maintained.

I stayed from 22 - 24 Oct 2022. Its less than mediocre resort. Its not maintained to the cost they charge. The Deluxe room I stayed was below standard. The bed spread and the blanket provided were of poor quality.
The free Wi-Fi is not working properly. The toilet ceilings were broken and our family felt embarrassed to take bath in it. First day morning, no water in the wash room, when we called the attender no body turn up for 10 minutes. We have to make the call again then a person came and says the motor is switched on it will take 10 minutes to restore the water in wash room. When the was restored it was with mud, we felt vacating at the very moment.
When we talked with the Manager, a nasty arrogant person, he says there is no option for cancellation for the online booking. The cable TV provided also not streaming continuously, when complained about it the front office person says its not their fault the cable TV operators fault and they cannot do anything. There is no coffee maker in the rooms. There is no car parking available, we have to park on the side of the road. So many monkeys around there, they will climb on your vehicle and play on it.

I, to be frank, not recommending this resort for any one for a peaceful stay.
They charge more and provide less facilities and amenities.

We struggled alot to get hot water in the washroom as the tap was not properly functioning, even in common washroom areas we were not getting cold water after complaining no of times they changed the room which was having lot of bugs, frogs inside the room. Over all its a bad experience, would not recommend it.

If you are planning with friends / colleagues/ with family or family girls are there in your group, then this is not the correct resort for you
They said we won't allow unmarried couples
But there is no terms and conditions mentioned in the site / Internet

The reception person is arrogant and won't give you the answer properly

Very worst behaviours with North Indians. They don't allow you to do anything if you don't pay.

Worst hotel ever been

It was the worst experience i ever had in my entire life. The room was very dirty, blanket was torn off. Two of them at reception - rajesh and sajeet misbehaved badly with us. After we checked out from the hotel they did not even allow us to keep our luggage and told us - “leave from here in 10 minutes”. Better you take a 5star hotel or a normal oyo but do not stay in such a worst hotel

Excellent resort. Service was very good and the food was like home cooked food. Mr. Rajesh supported before our trip with the booking and patiently answered our queries and was very supportive during our trip also and Mr. Sujith was very helpfull during our stay. The view is so.good. Thank you planet green.

It was a wonderful experience - stayed there for around 5 days. It's only 2 5 hours drive from Kozhikode Airport. The resort is overlooking the mountains, surrounded by nature with a stream passing by. Every day there was a different menu for all three meals, majority was cooked from locally sourced farm food. Hospitality was par excellence. The rooms were clean with high levels of hygiene maintained. You can enjoy varied sounds of nature. I would love to visit again.

This was one of the most beautiful property around on a complete lush green with an amazing scenic view of Chembra peak to watch all day. A live scenery from your bedroom as the clouds unfold and pass around to get a tranquil view of the peak and beyond. The planet green rooms were spacious with multiple furniture to relax around, an comfy office space, a lobby and a nice king size bed. Bathrooms were well maintained with clean and swift service. The restaurant at the planet green should be pre-booked, never got an opportunity to luncheon there. But the breakfast and dinner were excellent on all the days, kudos to the chef and service staff. They were courteous and gracious to take care of the guests, gratitude to them. Front office staffs were swift for any ask, being probed for a outing plan or booking a transport, they were awesome. Gratitude for hosting us and best wishes for the future:)

It’s a scenic location, with clean, neatly kept rooms - fairly basic, but with views to die for. Mobile signal is good, didn’t have any problems with connectivity. The food is fresh, delicious, & local; the restaurant doesn’t skimp on the quantity
We saw malabar squirrels running across the lounge, & a dozen monkeys performing every morning
Spent an idyllic 3 nights here, & plan to return with my family soon. Must visit, especially during the monsoons.

Do not get overboard on their website. They claim to have a stream which is actually a drain with stagnant water. You cannot take a stream walk or bath because it is highly non reachable for common people. There is no tea or coffee estates nearby. You have to walk miles to get that walk. Staffs are really cordial. They provide you their best.

Age old abandoned building.this isn't a resort.its an old hotel with no parking facility. Cars need to be parked on road. Doesn't worth more than 700 rupees per day

Very good and safe place to stay, cleanly maintained resort, good food and the hospitality of staff specially sajith was very good. Totally great place to stay.

The hotel is located in great location, view from the balcony outside is serene, rooms are maintained. Also hotel staff are very polite and humble. Loves staying there with the family.

The suite we occupied B1, is a beautiful and serene place to stay and have a peaceful experience of the nature with green and colourful vegetation surrounded. The staffs there were very friendly and obliging. The food was amazing. When we were leaving we were asked to plant a sampling which we can see grown when we visit next time. The cost of stay was very reasonable.

Our stay is Planet Green Plantation was really wonderful. We went there to celebrate our Anniversary, the staff were very helpful, arranged cake, set the table and turned it into a lovely small party.
As for rooms, we stayed in a suite. The suite rooms are big, neat, clean and very comfortable. The view from balcony is amazing. They also have a small stream which is clear and safe to play in, my daughter loved to play in it.
The food is really very tasty and the staff is very friendly. They ensured our stay is very comfortable.
Will surely plan to visit again.

Went in the month of Feb. The Chill in the air was the only downside in the entire trip. The resort is located in a serene location, not too far from the city. Lush green tea plantation to the north with Chembra peak on the backdrop is an amazing sight to see. It's a spacious property with scope of variety of activities that can be explored. The Food was delicious and staff courteous especially Sajith was down to earth and modest. If you plan to visit the resort please contact them directly they would offer you an affordable price.

The resort is a perfect retreat, the food is good. Staff is friendly, warm. Though there are still places for improvement. Food quantity is less for the price and they can include amenities to attract diversified customers. Small details will add value to the customers. Hope they focus on the little things.

If you are going to Wayanad the best place to stay. Highly recommended. Actually we went there on October and still we are looking forward to go there. You can see the view of chembra peak from there which is a wonderful sight. Especially in the morning you can see the fog just infront of the rooms which is an amazing sight that you could never miss.
The food is another thing. Its really delicious. Mouth watering food especially the fish curry and rice that we got for the lunch.we stayed there in tree house and in Dulex room also.both were good. Staying in tree house was our 1st experience and cant forget that. You must try that once.
Staffs were very friendly and caring. Over all it was a very good experience.

If you are looking for family i doubt whether it is a good choice. No parking facility. Better enquire with resort if there is some group programmes being hosted.

The view is excellent. Booked a suit room which costs 4000rs. They do not have much activities now. Food is average. Service is average. They charged 120rs for a bowl of rice and 120rs for small piece of fish fry. I think that's so greedy.

Awesome place to stay in Kalapetta, Wayanad. This resort is outside city (3-4KM max). You will get nostalgic experience of nature. This is in mid of coffee and tea plantations.

It's a calm and relaxed place with a pretty good view of chembra peak. But resort as such is very plain Jane, rooms were decent.

I would say this is one of the best resorts in wayanad kalpetta. The balcony view is absolutely stunning. The food is really really amazing.worth the price. The service was wonderful. If you want the mountain view and tea estate view then this is one of the best!

We had been there in October 2019 for 2 days and we opted for Non Ac room, but they have given us AC room and Rooms were very spacious, clean and had balcony with awesome Chembra View. Very peaceful. We have ordered dinner and Veg Biriyani was too good. Hotel staff were very kind. Hotel owner Vishnu was very sweet. I thank him for giving us wonderful experience.

Simple resort in the midst of a thick forest and coffee plantations. You will have the view of an amazing morning mist covering Chembra peak and other tea plantations.there is a small river flowing next to it. They have tree houses too. Vishnu is the care taker of the resort. Quite a helpful guy. Since it's in the thick plantations, expect lot of insects crawling here and there. They have hens, few birds and dogs in the premises. Not a luxury resort for sure, but can surely help you to have a secluded stay.

Perfectly nice midst-of-nature getaway. The place is in the middle of a coffee plantation. Spacious clean rooms, good homely food and really good coffee. Pleasant staff as well, they were quite accomodating in allowing us to check in early and serving us specifics like honey and warm water:)

3 km drive from the kalpaetta town to this resort. We took a corporate package from here for 30 members, the resort stay was excellent.

Me and My wife stayed over there for 4 days. It was our second visit.this resort situated in a awesome place with full of green. Its very close to nature. The view from the balcony to the chembara peak (one of the highest peak in the Western Ghats and the highest peak in Wayanad hills) was superb. Our morning walk to the coffee plantation in resort was really refreshing experience.at end of the plantation you can see a small water stream.food was good.all the staff are very helpful and courteous.

As the name suggests, it's complete greenery. You will find a lot of trees, well maintained garden, love birds and beautiful view of the mountain (photo attached). When we enquired of a pool, they said there is natural pond available. However, the water was too less and dint feel like hygiene water, so we dint enter, this was a big turn off as we were expecting to play in water. Otherwise, stay and food especially is bit costly. Though there are scenic views, I dint feel the price is worth of it.

There is no proper place to spend with full family gang inside the resort.also parking is outside only

Our stay at Planet Green Resort was an excellent. We stayed in an Premium Cottage Villa and the Chembara Peak views and sound from the Forest were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the Restaurant. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. A wonderful mini-vacation!
