I like the hotel; the food was okay as well, and the Staff was very helpful, but this play is far away from Allepy.

Posting as per my experience, giving 4 star for service because hotel staff tries to help in some ways but please read full review

Good experience
1. Beautiful view
2. Good for relaxing
3. Polite staff
4. Rooms are also ok (we took premium)

Bad experience
1. Isolated, hence extreme dependency on the provided availability
2. Beware of local boat riders they are cheaters - we hired a local boat he said 600/- for two people then added 100/- (since we wanted to take massage which will take us to the next shore, so added waiting time) then after coming back he said 2200/- and started talking about hours, where he himself was driving it extremely slow to increase hours (that we realised later) and we did not had any hour related talks
3. Lost the entire peace with the argument
4. Do not go to the massage centre recommended by these people "Google" it we went to some "devi Krishna massage " which is not in Google but we went since my husband wanted to support tourism and help these people but they will try to loot you at there maximum extinct
4. Due to back water a lot of mosquitoes
5. Spiders and lizards in the room
6. I was fasting for one day where I asked for available eatables in the hotel, they suggested we have fruits which they might use for juices but we heard the caretaker screaming on the cook later as why did he offered inspite the breakfast was complimentary. I felt really bad and didn't had anything in the hotel then.
7. No other guest in the resort hence was feeling conscious and safety concerns but us thankfully nothing bad happened

Nice location once you get there, but the roads to get there, facilities, food and pretty much everything left something to be desired.

Nice resort, amazing view from the rooms.
Only problem is parking is 200-300 metres ahead or one can pay and park next to the hotel

The Resort is at a far distance from the town.
Service is not good. The staffs were all asleep when I needed bedding stuff.

Very quiet place just at the edge of backwaters. Great view. Spacious rooms. Very helpful staff. There was some renovation work undergoing when we visited.

Had a great stay, food was really good, view is the best in allepey, only issue is connectivity not much ola uber support you need to book a personal vehichle to reach at the property else recommended.

Best view, and peaceful place away from the tons of house boat. You would surely love the stay here.

We have stayed for 1 night in this resort skipping houseboat for better experience. But wrost experience I even have in any hotel. It's an under construction house not a resort. Rooms and bathroom are very small and Conjusted and smells very bed. After booking premium room you will get nothing. Pacakage include breakfast, but they don't have anything other than bread and jam. Finding this place another big challenge, it's very inside and full of water on road. No wifi, tv connection. Tv is only for show off. No tea or coffee even water was not good. Safety is biggest concern. Night room is not getting locked. No reception and interco service.

Whatever review is in any website all is fake and paid one.

Don't waste you money and trip here

Pros:
Food is really tasty and good though you won't get much options available
View from the room is pleasant and soothing

Cons:
* Water is not clean, you will get to see the water slightly reddish and that trigger smell in washroom. May be they have not cleaned their water storage tank.
* For any service you need to tell them multiple time before you get it.
You have to ask mostly for services you should get, there is no pro active or initiative taken by the hotel staff
* Mainly they will tell Honeymoon cottage which is separately located as an Island are not at all suitable for honeymoon. For us they didn't even did the normal decorations of honeymoon room and very small rooms.
That too they will take you there with speed boat and for any service you need, you have to call them and get the service after 1hr or probably after multiple call they will come and deliver it by speed boat no direct walkable road to the honeymoon cottage. Worst experience we had by booking their honeymoon cottage. There was just one room available and it is too small and conjusted. In short not organized and managed properly by the current administration there.

It is a long drive to make from cochi but totally worth it. The food is excellent and fresh. The time spent on the boat was relaxing and much needed. Highly recommend this experience.

Undiscovered Beauty!
Extremely offbeat, unique and isolated Location with only 8 very private cottages.
Best of the views, sunsets and backwater rides! The undisturbed location gives an extremely calm and special experience at this stay!

One of the best resort i have visited till now. Great staff an yummy food.the room was good an clean with nice view

Alleppy is a not place to spend whole day just for boad ride. Ii is wastage of time and money. This hotel and it's services not good at all. Food quality is not good. Please Chek the price before giving order for food. Back water is very dirty and not hygienic. Do not waste money and time visiting alleppy.

Its a very nice resort all over infront of a beautiful lake. Well maintained and well trained staffs. And they have two house boat and speed boat, motor boat also

Its very beautiful resort and look like small but fully furnished and well maintained. They will give us five star services like hospitality, service, room etc. Mostly attractive in front of beautiful lake

Excellent backwater view throughout the day. All in all it offers you a very good atmosphere for couples. Delicious food & good service.

Visited on date 11 march 2020. Very bad experience.worst food. Worst hospitality.only Lakeview plus point. Lots of mosquitoes can't open your room window in evening.hotel staff not respond in proper way even after complaining about food. I suggest you to all don't prefer this hotel only for lake view. It's just normal room. But rest all service and food was very bad.

A very good resort with an exotic view of the meenapally vattakayal and offers very good service.
And very very fantastic tastes.

An excellent resort at a great location. All rooms have great views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We took a 4 hour boat ride and it was fantastic. The person who took us on the boat ride knows everything in detail and he managed to show us the most beautiful sunset exactly at the right time. Restaurant is a bit expensive and food taste can be improved. We booked a package which includes breakfast, dinner and a 4 hour boat ride. They have delivered everything they promised and totally to our satisfaction.

An excellent resort at a great location surrounded with water. All rooms have lake facing with good views in morning & evening. Inhouse staff are very cooperative. We enjoyed alot.

The rooms are very good.
The view in front of each room is excellent. But no parking is there.
There are many mosquitoes also. Overall is very good.

Tolles Hotel am See. Idyllische Lage und Ruhe. Service ist Indisch. Aber die Lage toll. Zimmer für indische Verhältnisse in Ordnung.

No sequrity, so many mosqitos, verry bad expirrience i had here. No proper place for parking. We need to park our car in public road like a slum. I saw that drivers are slerping in the car. They are not getting good sleep. Next day they want to take you to the hill stations and ti the hughways. You can imagin how risky will be your travelling.

Normal hotel but it was nice view point in back water.

A good place to stay, good restaurant with tasty food. Location is ideal for family and friends. Moreover the parking facility is not good.

Best resort on lake side and i am sure you all enjoy the Lakeview. Instaff member are very supportive and good food too.

Great view, good stay. The only problem I noticed was with the mosquitoes (you'll find this in most parts of Alappuzha)

Back water view is the best part of this property, nothing is impressive apart from that. Poor location, quite far from the locality which makes difficult to commute, even felt unsecure as we didn't see a single stuff in the reception after 11: 00 pm.

An absolutely amazing place to stay near the lakeside. Added benefits of getting to view rural allepey. Also, the villagers are friendly enough to give you a nice ride (though at a small price which is worth it) into the crevices of beautiful countryside and breathe the authentic fresh air! The staff is also good, the waves would be lapping the boundary line of the hotel which makes it all the more beautiful.

This is one of the best hotel of my trip while reaching overthere we were so happy that we got the chance to visit this hotel, the best part of this hotel is the view and location it's next to Lakeshore where houseboats is roaming.

The room was very clean and hygienic the food was very delicious but we have to order half hour early.

They are also arranging boat ride facility it's a paid service but it's worth taking ride in boat called "Shikara".

Best place to relax.

A really modest hotel blessed with an excellent location (right on the shore of Meenapally Kayal Lake in Kainakary, Allepey). Stunning views from the rooms enables one to have a super relaxing holiday staying here. Decently courteous staff. On the downside, the above pros are just about it. Restaurant food really needs to improve to cater to a wide audience (eventhough the restaurant staff is excellent, especially Mr. AB). Also, they really need to stop calling up guests over and over again to remind about meal timings - this practice does more harm than good. Overall, decent but with loads of scope to improve.

Pros
1. Breathtaking view.
2. Calm and silent.
3. AC was working well and bed was very soft too.

Cons
1. Water pressure from hand spray was very low.
2. Exhaust fan makes unbearable sound of room 202.3. One morning there was no water in washroom. Had to call reception 3 times. Water came after 1 and half hour.
4. Restaurant food was just ok. Had to search outside restaurant for good food. Even had to skip one night free dinner provided by my tour agency.
5. Limited breakfast options.

Overall its ok for 1 night stay. Just to enjoy view

Very gud resort with nice views and very gud hospitality. Rooms are neat and clean with well designed toilets.

The resort has nice waterfront view and fairly comfortable room. But all other facilities especially food service is not for international tourists. We bought room service for dinner because dining area was packed. We could hardly eat anything because it was so spicy.and same in breakfast.no nearby food outlets.
