Polakulath Regency

My recent visit to Polakulath Regency centered around trying their fish curry meals, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The fish curry was well-prepared and flavorful, meeting my expectations. However, I observed a slight drawback in the service aspect, possibly due to a shortage of staff, resulting in a bit of delay. Nevertheless, the availability of parking was convenient. In summary, Polakulath Regency is a suitable choice for those craving a satisfying fish curry meal, though there is room for enhancement in service efficiency.

Went to have non veg food. The meals with fish curry is just awesome. Fish fry and pork pepper fry was just beyond expectations. Ambience is superb. Very friendly restaurant keepers.

Must try: meals with Pork pepper fry and beef fry

One of the best affordable bar with food. It is a great place to hangout with friends. And trust me, you will get the best food at great quantity also. Comparing to other Bar, it is less expensive and the beverages also affordable. And must try the pork pepper fry.

If we went and come out what the pitty service they have given, it's fine. If we tell any comments or suggestions, says we are drunken. First of all train your staffs, bartender nd receptionist how to behave to customers. Today (16.04.2023), the water kept in the jug really smelled and tasted bad. I've raised this issue silently to the bartender and he replied there is no issue. When I tried with your utility staff, he agreed it's smelled. The same thing I tried to notify in reception by 10.45 pm, he told me the same water he is drinking and there is no issue and he is trying to prove it by giving me a glass of hot water. An attendant came and he said, the issue should notice one who is sitting in reception.
Dear owner, if you really don't want this bar then sell out, otherwise tell your staff to accept the mistake and correct it.
Really very pathetic service providing near woodlands junction.
If you expect the quality certificate from higher authority, Definitely I can prove it.

Crowded bar. Alcohol is expensive here. A seprate uncomfortable room for local drinks! 3star hotel!?

The worst bar I hv ever been to in my life. Asked a staff who was doing nothing for a beer. He pointed at another guy. Asked him n he said go back and wait. I walked off!

One of the worst bars in Kochi…! Been there, the table cloth seemed that it wasn’t washed for months and waited for 10 mins and no waiter turned up!

Very bad service from Waiters, We asked to clean our table but waiter said 10 o clock closing time no food available.

Sevice was pathetic. They didn't even come to the table. We had to go and take all our needs

Thedon't known difference about egg chilly and they are telling egg burjj and egg chilly is same

Horrible experience with polakkulam. I am just wondering that how can you run a business like this? Go and learn some culture, manners and how to behave to your customers then do the business. Waiters are behaving like they are giving something for free.

You never get standard customers, some local people may be with you because they are not concern about the service. But we are not just like that. Anybody seeing this review.if you are a decent customer or plan to go with your family, its not the place for you and better find some other place.

I never suggest RENAI COCHIN too because of this bad experience.not only from MG road, the all branches of polakkulam is very indecent and rude to their customers. Actually what you guys are doing POLAKKULAM MANAGEMENT? Are you sleeping.or did you sale your place to your staffs?

How did you get BAR licence?

First there was good service and ambience was also good. Food was nice at first but later the quantity and quality decreased. The service was pathetic. No one will came to you, you have to do self service. And the behaviour of the staff was also changed a lot from earlier. Very much disappointed

Staffs are very rude to the customer. You have to understand that we are paying for service, not begging for a peg.

Your service sucks! Very arrogant staff. Ready to brawl any given time. You can sit there waiting for ages and they will never turn up to take the order. The great " ninakku venamengil mathi" kind of service that prevail in many parts of kerala state.

Finally went to Kings empire near north rlwy Station. Excellent service. Lounge ambience at same rate. Zero star for your attitude filled arrogant staffs.

Worst bar I ever seen. The waiters are very bad behavior to us. They are like they own the polakulam bar. I was a regular customer but i realized I deserve more than this. If anyone reading this you have time to change your decision from polakulam to another decent one. Think wisely. Thank you.

One of Decent bar with indecent management. I have been waiting there for half an hour for a beer atlast got out of there because of their poor service.

I am inside this bar for 15 mins. Nobody is taking the order And when we asked the waiter he started shouting. Please dont hire this type of peoples. There where 3 waiters and they all where the same nobody attended us an now its become 30 mins still they are not attending. I was a regular customer here and this will be the last. Please put a board mentioning 'waiters inside bt not for serving'

Very bad service. All the waiters refused to serve items after making us wait. If there is a no star option ill be giving that review. All the waiters are drunk and talk offensively just for placing the orders. By far my WORST EXPERIENCE in any hotels. Don't go there. Management also not responding.

A lay man's paradise.good food and even better ambience on a budget. A regular at the joint for over 1 decade

One of the oldest establishment in Ernakulam town. Still maintaining the old girth to some extent. One of the finest and spacious bar is here. This is a nice hangout for youngsters. For families there is a restaurant serving meals and fish meal is good. If we ignore the uncouth behaviour of some employees here, very good

Polakulath regency presents consistently outstanding Indian food in an attractive and clean restaurant at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed sampling the large variety of meat based and vegetarian dishes, condiments and sauces. Five stars!
Great great greatest

Very bad I saw Hotel kitchen side very dirty condition also I saw rat running through the
kitchen also bacteria found.

It's newly renovated property. Now it's very good atmosphere. All works are good. It's located heart of the city and MG Road faced. It's just oppsit of Woodland hotel in woodlands junction. Only one kilometer from South railway station and maharajas metro station.
