Kerala is called God's Own Country for a reason! What an amazing experience it was staying at a Houseboat in Allapey backwaters arranged by Mr Shantilal (Prashanty Houseboats). It was a surreal experience for us and one of the best of our lives. The hospitality offered by Shantilal and his team, the boat driver Prasad ettan and Chef Joseph was top notch. They ensured that we get the best experience and I wanna thank then from the bottom of my heart. Everything we asked for was provided, be it a fishing rod for some leisure fishing or halting at a marketplace for buying sea food - Joseph is an amazing cook and d delicacy served on the boat was super super super tasty n we enjoyed it fully. For anyone wishing to experience the true colours of Kerala, this is one thing you shouldn't be missing. Thank you so much Shantilal

We really enjoyed our time on the houseboat. We spent the days on the top deck with 360 water views, being served delicious food through t the day. At night we were in air conditioned rooms that were clean and comfortable. A one night trip is probably ideal. Great fresh seafood can be bought from fishermen for immediate grilling by the boat crew. It’s super fun.

When I was searching for houseboats online the only good response i received is from Prasanthy houseboats. The informations provided by them is proper and they stood on their words, no last time hidden charges charges. The boat was new and had a great look as well. The staffs were kind and prepared 1st class food provided. Overall service was excellent. Family can enjoy safely and I suggest this boat everyone

Booking 3 bedroom premium houseboat 2 night stay. This was our first time renting a houseboat on backwaters.and experience was phenomenal. The Food was excellent overall an excellent with only very good feedback. We will definitely be back again prasanthy

Absolutely amazing people! I had reservation with someone else who gave me very poor service and boat. So I called Prashanthy and they sent a very nice man who took me around different boats and only leaving after I was satisfied with the new boat! I highly recommend them. Very kind person!

Fraud do not book this agency.they charged me 11000 rupees for 4 hours boating in kumarakom.if u go to kumarakom only 1500 per hours.they are fraud and provided very bad service. I wont repeat again and wont recommend to anyone.very bad experience.do not book with them.they are providing very bad service and charging too much money.wont repeat again.bad luck

We stayed with Prasanthy House Boats from Dec 18 to 19 2022. Dec 17was my daughter's birthday and I had asked the owner Santhi Lal if I could bring in decorations to decorate the place while his team helped me to get the cake.with no hesitations did he agree to help me with the plan.

When we arrived at the boat house, he even surprised my daughter with a flower bouquet, and graced the cake-cutting with his family.

The boat was very well maintained. The crew was very friendly. My daughter bonded with them very quickly. They made us feel like a family. Since my daughter was only 3, they ensured that she had enough hot water for shower and her milk feeds (prepared even without me asking them). They took into consideration her level of spice when preparing the food. The chef's tea and coffee were to die for.

The alley boat ride, trip to the seafood market, massage pitstop, fresh coconut water are all experiences we won't forget.

We did not feel like we were guest on a holiday. My daughter did not want to leave the boat house.

Santhi Lal and his team gave my daughter and us a wonderful 3rd birthday experience.

Thank you for being so accommodating and welcoming.

Food was awesome and staff was very good but the Prashanthy is just a middle man and boat given was not appropriate as the amount charged.

We used their Motor boat for 3 hours. Good service. The driver was friendly and brought us to a local food spot. Delicious crab n Prawns. Driver also stopped to a place and got eagle and gave us opportunity to take photos with it. We all adults along with my 10 and 5 year old children enjoyed the whole boat ride.

Hed booked a 5 bed room for a night in August manth, It was a great right from the booking prasanthy till the end. Booking was done with one call. To mention the boat was very well maintained and clean. Food served was very tasty and service by the in house boat staff was excellent. We enjoyed the ride and stay enjoying. Would like to thanks Mr santhilal overall arrangement very pleading. I would recommended to prasanthy houseboat

We were unsure about the cruise till we reached here and when we saw it we are pretty much impressed. First, the cleanliness and the way they have maintained it.especially the bathrooms.we had a nice time enjoying the cruise trip with 24/7 ac and delicious food. The staffs were too supportive and adaptive to our needs. I would suggest Prasanthy if anyone is looking forward for a cruise trip. Special thanks to @shanthylal

Amazing experience. We stayed on Prasanthy houseboat for a 2 night. From the time we were welcomed to end of the journey was very pleasant. The management and staff were so hospitable and friendly. Food was yummy. Fully air conditioning. I will recommend this to anyone who wants a luxury experience in beautiful Alleppey backwater in Kerala.

Not a safe experience in the night especially for families. We booked a private trip and paid the money full. All went well until midnight. In the the middle of the night, boat owner put 15 more people who were sleeping in the upper deck dining area. All this happened without informing us.

Cannot trust their words and once the money is taken they forget you and start looking at next prospective tourist without bothering.

Best book a hotel or resort and take day trip which would be more economical and peaceful

We had a great time with excellent hospitality right from airport pick up to the final lap.we are extensive holidayers and this was one of our best ones to speak of.i would recommend you to just call them if u wish to holiday n they will take care of everything from planning. Great overnight on this prasanthy houseboat. The staff were very good. Food was delicious and we stopped at a fresh fish stand and it was cooked to perfection by the cook.comfortable beds Ac was very good and hot water shower. Great place to sit and watch everything. Mr Santhilal bot owner very help full. Stopped at a lovely sheltered stop overnight with great sunrise views in the morning

Absolutely the best experience! The boat is well maintained, clean with modern amenities. Very comfortable, had a pleasant experience. The staff is very polite and quick to respond to any needs. The food prepared by them was one of the best I had in kerela, very homely and delicious. Would advise anyone visiting alappuzha to be here!

Actually I want give minus star. But, This is minimum can select. Very worst chef. When we buy outside Browns and crab, chef theft 50%. Then he argue with us we buy this only. They are not start as per timing also and not open a/c as per commitment. Boat is good. But head of chef make this boat really worst service.

Our stay at the houseboat for 2 days and 2 nights on August 20th and 21st, 2019 was a memorable experience. The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and cooperative. A helper guy who was serving us food was very forgetful. The rooms were comfortable but the bathroom was choked and it was a bit irritating. Don't expect hot water in the bathroom. The itenary mentioned during the tour is not followed by them. The boat keeps moving the whole day and one can enjoy the scenery around. If you are travelling with kids you have to be extremely watchful as it is not very safe. The houseboat can be a good option for honeymooners, family, friends and big groups. We loved the upper deck cum dining hall.

GENERATOR FAILED FREQUENTLY IN THE MIDNIGHT. SO A/C FAILS.
YOUR SLEEP GOES TO HELL.

They started very late but check out very early why I ask boat is going to repair food worst I eaver eat in boat house owner come while check in but not come at check out time,
Not even single star value of that commitment which they given.very worst behavior and performance.

Stayed With Family on 7th December 2018 and the host Shanthi Lal was super helpful, very friendly staffs, delicious food and the owner was kind enough to arrange us the birthday cake for my daughter and organised a cab for us to travel to kumarakom. Highly Recommended.
