If you want an authentic Punjabi food in Calicut, this is it.
But a fair warning, you will definitely doze off after the scrumptious meal!

Very bad experience. I went there with my friends and the waiter treated us like he was the one who was paying our bill. He gave us 5min to order and told us after that there will be no food. Other cleaning staffs made us eat our food very fastly by saying that they wanted to clean the table. When we asked for extra food then they said we told you to order at the first time and he told us there was no food. The waiter was angry when we asked for water. Worst place to go and eat. Your day will be ruined. I recommend not going there because in Calicut there are better places where they will treat you as a human being.

Amazing food on a budget.
Probably one of the best places to have authentic North Indian cuisine.

Server was amazing, definitely helped us pick items from the vast menu offerings they had, although they were out on a few items.
We ordered this dry paneer and dal tadka which were absolutely amazing.
I've had smaller portions from other restaurants for higher prices, so this was definitely beyond my expectation.
Taste was as you'd expect from a local dhaba, on point. Nothing too crazy nor bland either. Thaali was also nice, and for 150₹ it's a pretty good deal I must say.
They definitely don't hold back on using oil, so keep that in mind if you're on a diet lol.
The only gripe I had was the server was a little overbearing. While I appreciate the sentiment behind it, it's pretty hard to eat your food when they are standing right next to you lol. But yeah, ig it's just me.
Overall, definitely recommended, if you're into authentic Indian dishes, snacks and want to impress your friends.

Disappointed with the Butter Naan and Garlic Naan served here. Couldn't even complete the food but the other dishes Masala Papad, Panner Tikka Masala and Tandoori Roti were quite good.

Today it's my second visit to this hotel. I was very much impressed with the quality of North Indian food they are serving. Today I have ordered mushroom lolypop, pav baji, masala Puri and Pani Puri. As usual it was very exciting and budget friendly. Masala Puri was really good.

Food is tasty here but the restaurant doesn't understand the meaning of the word non-spicy. I placed an order on swiggy and put in a special request for non-spicy food. In addition to that, I called the restaurant and requested them once again about the same.

But still what came home was a dish full of green chillies! Someone who can't take spice has no place in the world of restaurants here.

Also I ordered Pani puri. Which was terribly soggy, in spite of requesting them to send everything SEPERATELY.

Being a Punjabi in the Kozhikode. I would definitely recommend every north indian plus keralites also to eat from here. Best pure veg restaurant in town. You can get end number of food options here. I had my favourite dal makhni with butter roti.just loved it food is best but service is little slow i would say.

A must go place for the North Indian food. The taste is so authentic and just like our Delhi/Punjabi restaurants in North India.

I was about to try their dishes but doesnt like the customer behaviour of the person who is sitting in the reception. I experienced that he is not much interested in hospitality and the price is also very high.

I went here after a recommendation from my cousins, but I didn't like it. I purchased Pav bahjis and a Malai kulfi, the Kulfi was nice but the Pav bhaji was really disappointing, the gravey tasted like a tomato chutney. They are charging Rs 100 for Lassi, that is way too much! I would name it Bengali rasoi because most of the employees were from that side. It's my opinion and may others view it can be different, even while writing this review cousin was saying that they used to be good.

Had a malai kofta from here. It was below average. Should try other restaurants in the city to find out where to get good and original malai kofta.

Ambience was fine. We tried two veg curries the gravey served was both same. I think one was paneer tikka & other I am not able to recall sorry. Metti parataa was good and rasmalai was also good.

One of the few places in calicut to try different north indian dishes. It waiting time to deliver an order is a little long especially since lockdown but the quality of usually makes up for it. Pre-covid days they served special punjabi thali during Sundays, which is a must try.

As a central Indian who is living in South india, this place is amazing to dine out in peace with tasteful dishes.

Please dont get cheated if you visit here, The amount you see in the menu is not what they use it in the bill, its more for every item. The taste was just Ok. The behaviour of staffs were aweful. I have asked them if the accept card before Dining and they told yes and when I went to Pay they were it is not working. They are cheating the customers. Please make sure to check the price before ordering something with the Waiters. The restuarent is not at all clean and the waiters doesnt use masks while taking orders.

It was good and authentic punjabi masala taste.but it was a bit costly and the pickle and other miscellaneous things are some sort of salty.although it was good in my opinion

Ambience is good, food portion size is okay as compared to its price. Food taste is okay, not ao great. Only veg restaurant
So over all I grade it 3 stars. One time visit.

For anyone planning to dine there, please carry lots of cash. Or else you're in for a bad time.

Its just a Punjabi dhaba. Nothing special. Normal FOOD. We all had problems with our stomachs for a minimum of two days and it was feeling like full tummy for two days. That might be due to the baking soda or soda powder added more in Nan, aloo paratta and may be in pani puri wala puri. Not a kind that we will recommend from our experience. Staffs and Service is excellent. No parking space.
