This place was a pleasant surprise. The “home-style” meal is too good. I relished the fried fish, various veggies, sambhar, rice. Please drop all your expectations about “ambience” and enjoy the Kerala-style food.

After 2 days we did experience the banglore style food appam tastes like dose. Total 7 members eat 26 appam.

Extremely delicious food! We stopped there just for a bottle of water on our way to Edakkal caves but they seemed very nice so we decided to come and eat.best decision ever! The homemade food was served on banana leaves and was very cheap! Veg option as the basis to which can be added different types of fried fish and chicken according to the days. It was so good that we came back to eat there two days later! Totally recommend

Seeing d reviews been there, its really wonderful family who serve tasty lunch, they attain guests very well, if u going Edakkal Caves u must hv lunch there.

The food was really good, but the best part was the old ladies who served us food like us we were their children.

Tasty and unlimited meals at good price. Must try if you want to have traditional Kerala type meals. Their betroot and pineapple pachidi was top notch. Fish was also tasty and fresh. Very very hospitable owners. Very satisfied.

One of the best food places to Visit if you are in Waynad.

Simple food rice sambar and the star of the food was papaya subji (felt like cabbage subji). Which was different. As a vegetarian you would definitely enjoy the simplistic food. For non veg the food is heaven, as i had the fried dish. If you like the typical Kerala fried fish you will have a blast as it's just mind blowing. There was chicken option as well but we didn't try.

Definately worth the visit and the best part it's not that expensive avg of 150 to 200 per person.
